Willow- Romantic woodland gypsy caravan.

MadeleineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had the most wonderful peaceful stay in Willow (the gipsy caravan). Such a cosy warm space with everything you need. A lovely hot shower close by and your own private space with firepit and seating. Stayed two nights and felt so recharged. Lucy was a wonderful host and made sure I had everything I needed. Will definitely stay again!

17thC Barn in a Vineyard

GeorgeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a much needed break for my wife and I. This part of Devon is stunning Knowstone is gorgeous. Debbie and her husband were welcoming and helpful. I look forward to the first vintage from their fledgling vineyard. The Michelin starred Mason's Arms was a joy for our evening meal. Get to that pub while you can as they are looking for a buyer. All highly recommended.

Cottage in the heart of Cheriton Fitzpaine

This was our second visit to James's place and we loved it all over again. It felt like coming home. So warm and cosy after a long, dark drive. We had supper, a quick drink in the Ring O' Bells, then watched TV in front of the fire before sinking into the very comfy bed. Perfect! Can recommend the monthly fry-up in the village hall. All round great weekend.

Stylish studio with wood fired sauna

MathewRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The studio is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for as an escape from the city. The private sauna was the main reason for choosing Roberta's place and it really is a highlight, it has a beautiful view looking out over fields and trees and a shower you can run hot or cold. Although we didn't have great weather during our stay, the studio is very cozy and comfortable and warms up quickly by lighting the wood burner. There is a fridge and it is possible to make simple meals on the induction hob. It is indeed an idyllic setting and extremely peaceful (caveat: if you want a lie in, bring earplugs as the dawn chorus lead by nearby enthusiastic rooster is a rousing start to the day first thing). Well worth the drive down from London. We would visit again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic place, beautifully decorated with attention to detail, and very quiet and peaceful. It had everything we needed, even breakfast was provided. It felt like home, and will definitely return if we have the chance.

Quirky wooden showmans in pretty secluded valley

Amy-RoseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
It's hard to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay here. It was exactly the little getaway my partner and I needed to get some R&R away from London. Karina was extremely accommodating and even reached out to us to see if we wanted to adjust our dates because of the bad weather, which we did in the end! The hut itself was stunning, and a labor of love from the hosts. It was so full of character, and we appreciated all of the little touches throughout. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, the bed was super cosy and comfortable, and the fireplace was an absolute hit! So easy to light a roaring fire in minutes! It's right next to a little creek, and listening to the water was so peaceful. We absolutely loved the outdoor bath (spacious enough for 2 people), and spent many hours in it under the stars and listening to all the owls chatting. An absolute dream! The local pub 15 mins walk away had the most divine food and wine too. We will definitely be back!

Studio apartment on edge of village

AaronRating, 5 stars1 day ago
I had a three night stay at the Studio at the end of a three week tour of Oxford, Worcester, Cornwall and Devon. It was a perfect base for my family history exploration in and around Exeter. The decision to add the Exeter leg to my trip was made fairly late on, but Niki’s responsiveness, flexibility and (very accurate) description of the property made the decision easy. Being roomy, comfortable, well laid out, with the flexibility to self cater and with useable outside spaces, the Studio would also be perfect for a much longer stay, just to relax in the tranquil environment or to explore what the area and region has to offer. Niki’s suggestions for local eateries (e.g. Thorverton Arms and the Farmers Store / Ruby Cafe) and attractions were accurate and helpful and the Studio has a lot of information about local walks etc and attractions further afield. Niki was a great host and the Studio exceeded expectations created by the descriptions provided. I wholeheartedly recommend both!!
