Sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es wurde wirklich an alles gedacht. Es hatte sogar Adapter für die Steckdosen, man muss nicht mal seinen eigenen mitnehmen (trotzdem empfehle ich es nur für den Fall). Für den Preis zu gut in meinen Augen. Gastgeberin ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, hat wirklich Spass gemacht. Auch die Küche war top ausgestattet mit Geschirr und sogar Schere etc. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

what a gem i was able to find! instructions were so clear and host was quick to respond. The area was amazing, there's a lovely bakery that I was obsessed with near by as well. close to the station so vetting there was easy. The place was so beautiful as well, very old school but made you feel right at home. Would definetly recommend 👌🏽

Great Machiya stay with a traditional feel, but with modern amenities such as heated floor! Also perfect location to explore Kyoto. Tokuji san was always very responsive during communications. Overall, highly recommended!

这次和朋友一起入住了Jasmin的民宿，是一件传统日式房屋。根据房东提供的指引十分方便地就找到了民宿，使用密码自主入住，所以不用担心赶不上check in的时间。民宿离JR站稍微有点距离但不构成问题。民宿空间非常大，有两间卧室和一间客厅。所有房间都打扫的很干净，榻榻米都一尘不染。厨房设备完备，提供全套餐具还有基础的调味料。房东响应也很及时，我们入住时洗衣机出了点问题，联系房东后房东立马就派人来上门维修，等我们外出归来时洗衣机已工作正常，还帮我们把衣物放进了洗衣机进行清洗。当我们不知去哪解决晚饭时，房东向我们推荐了家烤肉店，烤肉十分美味价格也不贵😋Jasmin是为很热情的房东，非常推荐她的这家民宿。

I had the pleasure of staying here about eight years ago and everything was perfect again! Great location across the street from a gorgeous Kyoto icon, Toji Temple, nice and close to public transportation including the city’s mega train station, and wonderful, gracious hospitality from the host. One of my favorite Airbnb stays ever!

This cozy home is just 2 mins walking from the historic resort Toji Temple and 8 mins walking to Toji station which is convenient to everywhere we want to visit. This entire home is very quiet and charming. It’s a typical Japanese style decor inside and has everything we need . I’ll strongly recommend here to everyone who wants to explore Kyoto.

We felt right at home with the personnel check in. They were very attentive, helpful and kind with great restaurant recommendations! The house with a traditional feel was impeccable clean. The cherry on the cake were the 5 bicycles provided which you could use for free. also a easy to park parking spot if you are driving. 6 out of 5 :)

One of most special Airbnb i've stayed. two adjoining parts—one a lovingly kept 100-year-old beauty, the other a slick, modern build—linked by a garden walkway. Inside, the highlight is a dramatic lounge filled with antique pieces and original details, while on the living side, the shower room is enormous. The setting is a calm, local neighborhood with easy bus and train access, and the host is unfailingly friendly and quick to respond.

We stayed at the Saito family's house with our two sons (14, 9), and we loved it very much! The location was excellent — a short walk to the bus and subway stops, with short rides to major stops like Kyoto Station and Gion. It is also in a quiet residential area, which made us feel like we were living there for a week. They were responsive, and the place was clean and spacious for four of us. Our kids loved the wooden bath and the door opening to the courtyard. We will definitely stay at the Saito family's place when we visit Kyoto again in the near future.

It’s a beautiful Japanese house. We loved the stay. Riri is a superb host. Always responsive. We stayed for 4 nights and the stay was perfect. Would love to stay there again!

Overall a great stay at a beautiful historic-style Kyoto house. Close to the train stations, convience stores and some great parks and temples. Easy to take a cab or taxi to downtown Kyoto if you don't want to walk or the weather isn't cooperating. Plenty of room for a family, however keep in mind it is a old house that has been restored and they have taken great pride to keep traditional charm - which means it could be challenging for young kids depending on how well they behave. Thankfully, we had no issues. Kyoko was quick to respond if we had questions and once we found the check in location it was a very nice experience and then short taxi to the residence itself. Only thing I would recommend is putting some kind of blinds on the windows as the sun would rise around 5am and without blinds or curtains some of our family would wake up super early from the light. The bathroom, soaking tub and water pressure are all amazing. We would happily stay again on our next Kyoto visit.

Amazing place, looked even better than the pictures. I was surprised how big the place was in person. The train station was just a 8 minute walk to take you to all the popular spots. We were a group of 8 and it was a perfect place for our size. I would highly recommended this place and I’ve already booked it again for a future trip. We were also able to check in our bags early while we waited for the house to be ready for us which allowed us to explore the city until check in time. Thank you for all the accommodations !

Väldigt fint och traditionellt hus. Vi är mycket nöjda med vistelsen som gav oss alla en fin japansk upplevelse i Kyoto. Lugnt och mysigt område och nära till matbutiker och restauranger, perfekt!

I stayed at Hanare's place with my two daughters (ages 18,19) and it worked out great for our trip to Kyoto. The place is really well done and has a great feel to it. My daughters really appreciated that they each got their own bed and that the AC worked very well. There is AC downstairs and in the bedrooms but the entrance and the upstairs hallway do not have AC. It wasn't a big deal but the hallway could get pretty warm. The only bathroom is on the first floor and the bedrooms are on the second floor. My only warning is the staircase, I would say it's more of a ladder. We were fine with it but it was definitely interesting getting the luggage upstairs. If someone in your group has difficulty getting around it might not be the best place. We used several of Hanare's recommendations and they were great. It's right by the main cobblestone street that leads up to the Kiyomizu-dera. We really enjoyed our stay and liked that it had a very clean modern yet traditional Japanese style.

This was a great place to stay with a responsive host. It was not close to the subway, but accessible by bus. It seems that most times, we had to take a bus to go to Kyoto Station to transfer to get most places. The house itself was very nice with big rooms by Japan standards. Only drawback is that there was no sofa, only a room with tatami mats, a low table, some cushions and a beanbag chair. For Westerners, this may not be ideal. Very nice to have a washer with a dryer..

We had a wonderful stay with family and friends from all over the world. 20 of us stayed and we had plenty of space. We felt right at home. Very convenient location, near Kyoto station but far enough to be in a quiet local area, with small bars and sento! Thank you for being a great host!

Nette Unterkunft zentral in Kyoto gelegen. Es gibt alles was man braucht. Es war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Alles wie beschrieben. Für eine Familie mit Kindern und viel Gepäck geeignet aber man muss kreativ sein mit Ablageflaechen. Treppe ist steil und für sehr kleine Kinder schwierig zu gehen. Unsere 5 und 7 Jahre alten Kinder kamen gut zurecht.

非常好的体验，这次是带爸爸妈妈来京都玩，在这个民宿里渡过了很快乐的三晚！ 因为与房东可以中文交流，比较便利，并且房东在入住准备上非常用心，提前开好了空调，点了香，准备了冰饮，还有很美的鲜花，入住时感觉很温馨💕 此外，房间和床铺都很干净舒适，厨房和厕所也非常整洁便利。在超市里买了和牛肉、米饭，就可以在家享受一餐，比在外吃得更合口味~ 以及，浴缸和热水也很棒，不输酒店，水超级热！洗浴用品及吹风机都很好用，每天逛完回家洗个热水澡非常治愈！ 地理位置上，虽然民宿所在地是小路，但是离清水寺、二三年板非常近，我们赶早6:30出门，十几分钟就可以步行到清水寺，避开人流比较方便的！

Dieses japanische Haus hat mir richtig gut gefallen! Es wirkt total traditionell und gemütlich. Den kleinen Baum im mittleren Bereich finde ich sehr spannend, macht das ganze auch sehr freundlich. Die Einrichtung ist schön schlicht und trotzdem geschmackvoll. Auch die Lage war top. Es ist ruhig, aber trotzdem nah genug dran, um alles gut zu erreichen. Würde jederzeit wiederkommen! Man freut sich immer wieder nach langen Touren durch die Stadt und die Umgebung, wenn man wieder zurück ist :) So habe ich mir meine Kyotoerfahrung vorgestellt!

If you’re asking yourself whether or not it’s worth it to book here— the answer is an absolute YES. It is truly one of the most beautiful homes we’ve ever stayed in. The outdoor tub is heavenly and was the best way to beat the summer heat during our stay. The beds are so comfortable, the house was the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever seen (and I’ve been lucky enough to stay in many excellent ones!), and the location is prime for anything you might want to get up to. We couldn’t be more grateful to have experienced Kyoto for the first time here! Truly the most peaceful place to stay in the most peaceful city. Also, the AC is the crispest I’ve ever been in, which was a must. Great all around!

Wir hatten zwei wundervolle Tage in dieser Unterkunft. Da Kyoto so wunderschön ist, konnten wir leider nicht so viel Zeit in diesem tollen Haus verbringen, wie es ihm gerecht werden würde. Darum habe ich nachts um drei Uhr in dem kleinen privat Onsen mit Blick in den Garten gebadet und nur wenig Zeit mit Schlafen verbracht. Alles war sehr sauber und gemütlich. Vielen Dank!
