Very pretty, quiet and comfy place to stay in. The hosts are extremely friendly and responsive. There's also washing machine which is a plus point for our stay. We would definitely come back here again if we were to travel to kyoto!

The house is nice and clean with all the amenities mentioned. Walkable distance from the nearest station. The host provided us with all the convenience stores nearby. Also a very generous gesture of allowing us to checkin way earlier than our checkin time, Kudos. Overall a very good stay.

The house is very nice and quite clean. Perfect for living in a real Japanese home. The location is not bad, but you need to take the means to go out in the evening. Subway is a 10-minute walk away. There are a few restaurants in the area in case you don't want to go far. The host was very responsive and attentive to our needs. I would change the fabric of the sheets and a few more towels would have been useful.

Amazing find! Perfect location close to many sites whether by walking or train. Neighborhood was quiet and house felt like we were at home would stay here again!

Very beautiful detached townhouse, beautifully decorated, very close to subway station 5, 3 minutes walk, you can walk directly to Yachuan to see the beautiful scenery, you can walk directly 10 minutes to Sanjiao to eat and shop, very convenient, highly recommended, great stay, can accommodate 7-8 people, no problem, I will come again next time!

We were 3 families traveling together, lots of kids, big room, all kids can stay in one room.The first floor common area is also big and clean overall.

This was great for our family of 4 trip (with two kids ages 8 and 11). The location can’t be beat, the Yasaka shrine is right around the corner and tons of amazing restaurants in walking distance. There is a grocery store just a couple of blocks away, so we got some breakfast food, snacks and drinks there. The rooms are very quiet and beds are very comfortable (heated floors were an extra bonus). The bathrooms are very nice as well. This was a very zen place with a traditional feel and modern amenities. Great find!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful 3-story Japanese-style house. It’s incredibly clean, well-maintained, and full of Kyoto charm. The layout is spacious yet cozy—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is excellent: just a 5-minute walk to Gojo Station on the Keihan Line, and there’s a 7-Eleven right outside the door, which made everything super convenient—from grabbing a quick snack to withdrawing cash. Shan is a superhost in every sense. She gave us a warm welcome with plenty of water, drinks, snacks, and even instant noodles! Her responses were always quick and helpful—we felt really well cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto. Great home, great location, and a truly wonderful host. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great place for a couple people traveling through Kyoto. smack dab between many different restaurants and shops as well as a 711 less than 300 feet away. The location is amazing. the house itself may present itself as smaller to the average American but it fit our needs very well. just be sure to watch your head if you are tall as some of us were. Other than, that this place has plenty of room and a a great balcony hangout/getaway to u wind after a long day of walking . Great communications and fast response times makes this host an A+.

The house was wonderful, the location was really quiet on the outerskirts of Kyoto, perfect for hiking and get away from the crowded areas. We have enjoyed the garden as well as the cozy living room.

Shiki’s place was very well suited to the needs of our group of six for six nights. The accommodations were spacious and comfortable, but also trendy - and with a respect for the history of the building. It’s far enough from the city center to be quiet, but close enough to be walkable and close to trains. The place is very stylish and aesthetically pleasing, and we had everything that we required, including laundry facilities. Many thanks for a great stay .

The place is as described in a quiet neighborhood, good for walking around to appreciate the beautiful flowers in front of some houses. There are grocery stores within ~20 mins walk downhill to a main street of the area. It was very helpful to have a pick up and drop off to the subway station services by the owner.

The location of the B&B is very eye-catching, there are convenience stores and fresh food supermarkets nearby, the Host is very nice!!All processes will be given detailed text answers and food recommendations!They also sent snacks!The tableware is complete and the room is clean and tidy.The surrounding environment of the house is also very quiet and peaceful, highly recommended!

Very convenient location in the Arashiyama neighborhood. Only a 6 minute walk to shops, the bamboo forest, or the larger neighborhood train station. There is a smaller train track right behind the house, and we were worried about noise, but it turns out those trains don't run at night. Very responsive owners/ management- it was a great stay.
