The moment you step in it's evident Farrah has put in a lot effort and care into curating this property. Every corner of the house is filled with charm and personality. The bathroom was clean and the kitchen stocked with breakfast food. If you're like me looking to embarce the slow quaint Shillong life for a few days. You can't go wrong with this traditional style Shillong house (...that actually feels like a home and not a hotel!). And having Farrah as your host only adds to the value. : )

Oak Cottage was a lovely stay! Clean, cozy, and tucked away in a peaceful spot yet close to the main attractions. The hosts were helpful, and the place felt warm and inviting — perfect for a relaxing getaway in Shillong.

Our stay at this beautiful Airbnb hosted by Mr. Anshul was nothing short of fantastic! The property is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a serene and peaceful escape from the hustle of city life. The location is easily accessible by road, making the journey hassle-free. What truly sets this place apart is the warm hospitality. Both Mr. Anshul and the caretakers were extremely polite, friendly, and supportive, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Whether it was assistance with local recommendations or making sure we had everything we needed, they went above and beyond. The space itself is perfect for a large group of friends or family, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. If you’re looking for a refreshing getaway amidst nature with great hospitality, this is a must-visit! Highly recommended

Phiba, the host is super sweet. Responsible. We wanted to check-in before 3 hrs of check-in time and that too was last moment, but she made that possible. Without any extra fee. Not only Phiba, we met with her family , they all very welcoming. She has 4 beautiful babies! 3 dogs and one little cat! They were definitely a cherry on the cake! It's sad that we book last moment and we were only there for one day, the next days were already booked. But if we are coming back , we will definitely stay at hers! The photos do not justice to Farrah’s place. It is aesthetically beautiful and is located perfectly in the city. Farrah is a great host and we just fell in love with Farrah and her team’s hospitality. We were travelling with kids and Farrah ensured we were taken care of. A special mention to the food. It was so simple yet you will end up eating the last morsel of it. Minimalist yet tasty. You should try Farrah’s food. Also, the bonfire just outside is a great place to reflect and rewind after a long day. All in all, a great place to stay and merits a 5 star reco without a doubt.

The place was very nicely done and in a very beautiful location. There’s a pine forest just behind and it looks amazing. There are conveniences nearby but overall very peaceful. We had a great stay and would definitely love to come back for longer

I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs previously but this was a really different level of hospitality experience honestly. I’ll say don’t do for the place, go for the people. They are so sweet and caring always wanting to help us and are genuinely concerned about how our day was and helping us plan the next few days for us. They even suggested us good food places since we were veg and even went out of the way to take us to a few places which we couldn’t have gone ourselves :) I’ll recommend everyone to stay here if they’re visiting Shillong, its 10mins drive from police bazaar and the local bazaar is hardly 5mins walking so you actually get all the essentials very easily On top of that they had also given us a few snacks to have when we checked in Wi-Fi works fantastic, I’m a working professional - and this was a must have for me since i was working from here for 7 days. Overall one of the best experiences I’ve had and I’ll suggest anyone to book the place and stay here if in Shillong

One of the best stays I've had in Shillong. The rooms look better than pics and is quite aesthetic. All the amenities listed are available. Brandon is very helpful and is always willing to assist whenever needed.

A gud deal at a reasonable price. Host was always responsive. Flexible check in and check out. Great location and walkable distance within 1.2km to wards lake and police bazaar. Room need better sound proofing. Overall a great stay.

We had a great stay! The place was exactly like the pictures—clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The beds were super comfortable, and the breakfast provided was a nice touch. They really thought of everything, from Netflix to books and board games, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to friends and family, and I’d happily stay here again!

Great Stay at Longwood Residence! Stayed for two days and really enjoyed it. Clean rooms, peaceful location, and very warm, helpful hosts. Close to Police Bazar ( approx 2.5 kms) and great value for money. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay in Shillong!

I had a wonderful stay at this studio apartment! The highlight was definitely the breathtaking view—it was a joy to wake up to the warm morning sunlight streaming in. The space was clean, well-equipped, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also convenient, making it easy to explore the area. The host was responsive and made check-in smooth. If you're looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat, I highly recommend this place!

Vivi’s place was very clean and the surrounding looked beautiful from the flat we checked into. Vivi herself was very responsive and friendly. No issues with anything and I would recommend folks to trust this place while in Shillong. The price could have been a bit cheaper, specially in the rainy season(not the main tourist season).

Jaya is a wonderful host, incredibly helpful. The place is clean as advertised in the pictures. We wanted to book local tours to Cherrapunji and Dawki and it was quite last minute since everything gets shut down early on Christmas, she went above and beyond and asked her husband to take us to the tourist information center and ensure we get our bookings done in time. I didn’t want to leave so soon but definitely coming back to this in my next visit. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Shillong and looking for a home like place near the downtown that is well connected to local markets, restaurants etc.

It was a great stay. The kitchen had all needed amenities. The bed linens provided were clean. We felt right at home. Best thing was the location which was right at the center of Laitumkhrah (it was the primary reason we stayed at this Airbnb). Thank you for hosting us!

It is a fantastic place for stay. Nightview of whole shillong from the Terrace and the resturant is the main point of stay there.

Had an amazing stay at Naro’s place. The residence looks exactly like the photos. The location is what stands out to me. I’m going to stay here for all my future Shillong trips.
