Our cottage is located on Lake Memphremagog, an international lake shared with Canada. Visit our nearby hobby farm/children’s museum. Kayak, bike or hike to stunning natural settings or take day trips to a variety of interesting destinations, including maple sugar shops, alpaca or dairy farms, golf courses, a ski resort with indoor waterpark; or cross the Canadian border a few miles away and explore Quebec. A boat dock is available for use at our cottage with an access ramp a 1/4 mile away.

Peaceful Place to Enjoy Your Stay in the NEK

Minutes away from Burke and just a hop off of I-91, this is your start and end to a great day in the NEK. There is a large bedroom and bathroom downstairs with three smaller bedrooms and a small half bath upstairs. There is ample parking and a fenced in yard if you want to bring your dog. There is a stream and hiking trail out back with an active sugar house with tours available upon request. Plenty of wood and a fire pit outside. Starlink internet to upload your adventures at blazing speed!

Lake Elmore Cottage

Beautifully remodeled cottage on the Lake with just one house between it and the beach! Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located lake cottage which is walking distance to the General store and their Firetower Pizzas, the state beach and the Elmore State Park hiking trails. Everything you need is provided. Fully equipped kitchen, linens, towels, beach towels ... just bring your toothbrush and your floatie, kayak or canoe. You will fall asleep to the wail calling of the loons.

The views of the lake and the mountains never get old. We get the best sunsets too. The cottage is cozy but also roomy and is steps away from the lake. It offers all the creature comforts of home while roomy, open and one level. The lake is shallow, clear and has a sandy bottom. The yard is large and available for family fun too.
