Very nice place and an available and always attentive hostess. For us it wasn't very necessary, but the kitchen needs some improvements. It will be a very valid hypothesis and one that I will certainly consider when returning to the area. Thank

great apartment! easy to find and easy to access (you can park easily nearby). José was very responsive and accommodating for our arrival and departure (thank you again for doing everything I could to collect forgotten belongings after leaving the accommodation..🤦🏻‍♀️) the apartment is very spacious and clean. The only downside is that the double beds are two single mattresses. It was not disturbing for 1 night but good to know. it is actually missing 1 freezer or freezer but the same, for 1 night, we did not miss it. It's clearly a safe place to keep!

Wonderful family stay in Setubal at Gisèle's. House as described. Simplicity, good taste and great location. We spent 15 days enjoying both the city, its surrounding coves and the quietness of the house. The discoveries are numerous and accessible within a radius of 2 hours max by car: Arrabida Nature Reserve, Lisbon, Comporta, Cabo Espichel, Nazaré,... Plein les mirettes! We are a family of six and this accommodation was comfortable and very spacious. The beds were firm but comfortable, as were the pillows. Perhaps one single point would be an improvement in the heating or boiler in the bathrooms, but otherwise there are no negative points. It's a shame we only had to stay one night. We would have been happy to stay longer.

It is a lovely place to stay and a good walking distance to the city center as well as the beach. Can definitely recommend the place and perfect also to park a car in front of the house.

My husband and I spent two nights at João's, and our stay was exceptional. The surroundings were gorgeous and peaceful, and the house, itself, was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. João was incredibly helpful and friendly. Highly recommend and hope to visit again!

The stay was great! Overall, the place exceeded our expectations. We were a group of 8 adults, 2 children and 2 toddlers and there was enough space for everyone so that you could spread out well in the house if necessary. And while eating, everyone could sit together comfortably at the large dining table in the cozy living/dining room. Unfortunately, the weather was not optimal for long pool days, but we were still able to use it. Especially the kids had a lot of fun. There was everything you need. Kitchen is super equipped. Since we drink a lot of coffee, the small espresso machine was not enough, but that was the only thing we were missing and we quickly found an alternative for us and bought a simple filter coffee machine in the nearby discount store. If we had any questions or concerns, the hosts always responded very quickly and helped. Thanks a lot! 🙂

“The house was large, surrounded by a variety of flowering plants that were cared for daily and offered a dreamy view of the surrounding mountains. The views were even nicer than the photos! The amenities were very good overall. The house is located 40-50 minutes from the surf beaches, but is located in a quiet environment in the middle of nature. Other strands were also available in a shorter time. João's father and his wife were very present and helpful. Overall a very good experience and we would choose this place again.”

Two families stayed for 10 days with young children. Breathtaking scenery, beautiful house. 10 minutes from town and the beach. Children also had great fun feeding the goats with the farmer. Thank you for a great stay, we will be back.

We spent my birthday at MJ’s house with some friends, and it was amazing. The house is spacious, the pool is perfect for both adults and kids, and it’s just a 10-minute walk to the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped, which made meals easy and fun to prepare. I definitely recommend it for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Nice little apartment with pool view. The beach was within walking distance very easy to reach and in the apartment there were also umbrella and small beach chairs. Only the double bed caused us some problems, as it was relatively narrow and you noticed every movement of the other.

Luis was so welcoming and generous, we wish we could’ve stayed longer ☺️ He made us feel at home.

Great value for money. Has everything we needed and in a great location. Lovely pool and a football pitch and park which is great for kids, and just a short walk to all the lovely shops and restaurants in Comporta. Ivo is a great host. Great communication and really attentive. Thank you.

The place is very well located! The host was second to none – always responsive, flexible, and friendly. We loved the place and are already looking forward to staying there again!

We had a great time. From the apartment, we could visit many beautiful places, and it is still very quiet and private. The village is only 4 minutes away by car and also very nice to eat something there and spend time on the beach. The hostess provided us with everything we needed and was not intrusive. We will be happy to come back!

Very well achieved space; well-equipped; a little away from the city centre which is good for resting and relaxing and at the same time close to downtown. Clean and comfortable space.

The best view and best appartment ever. But the parking is a huge problem. There is no parking places in Sesimbra. The weekends are the worst. Everybody is coming for the beach or the restaurants. Otherwise perfect and the owners are incredibile.

We spent 2 weeks in Jose’s apartment with our 10-month baby. Everything went well, the place was cozy, clean and safe. The real highlight was the marvelous ocean view from the spacious balcony. Jose was very helpful and gave good recommendations via messages. There was a calm and relaxing atmosphere in the apartment, with just the equipment needed for a little family. The apartment and the view are even better than they look in the photos. Overall Jose’s place and Sesimbra gave us an unforgettable holiday, and we miss it already.
