Homey Cottage with Glacier View

Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

Hausberger Alpine Lodge

100-year-old log cabin, which was demolished in the neighboring village in 2008 and rebuilt at our organic mountain farm. Particular care was taken in the use of natural building materials (reed, clay plaster, old wood). Traditional larch shingles serve as roofing. The house is heated by a large kitchen stove and a solar thermal system. The bathroom has underfloor heating. The cozy little house (75 m²) served as our residence for 10 years.

In winter, Grossarl has a state-of-the-art ski resort with beautiful downhill runs and deep snow slopes. Since our house is located on a hill at 2.5 km mountain road snow chains are recommended in winter.

Welcome to Lakeside Penthouse 16 – only 5 minutes walk from the old town and 2 minutes from Zeller Strandbad! In winter you can reach the ski lift in about 10 minutes on foot. You can enjoy the fantastic lake view directly from the penthouse. A detached parking space as well as a spacious garage are available – ideal also for bicycles or sports equipment such as skis.
