Had such a lovely stay at Ashley & Simon's cottage. Me and my boyfriend felt right at home as soon as we got there and both hosts were so friendly from the get go. The decor was stunning and so homely - loved the artwork in the bedroom! Everything we needed was already equipped in the cottage. The bed was SUPER comfy and the hot tub was a great way to end our little week away 😍🛀 Would definitely stay here again if ever in Kelso! Highly recommend! ⭐️

we had a lovely restful stay at the cottage and would thoroughly recommend a stay here. The cottage was perfect and equipped very well. There was a large welcome hamper which was much appreciated. We made full use of the pool and hot tub and enjoyed a walk round the lakes. will certainly recommend. thankyou

Comfortable home in beautiful surroundings. Really responsive and friendly host. En-suite bathrooms to each bedroom and the beds were super comfy. Great parking and charger for electric car - lovely walks nearby along the river and the horse in the field behind had just given birth to a foal so our daughter was mesmerised. Oh I forgot the hot tub - that was great too!

Ivy Cottage was just as it was described. We took advantage of the hot tub too. It was a great base to travel and walk to other places. Marie was very approachable and so helpful, she contacted us before the visit and was responsive to all questions. We didn’t need to contact her during our stay as everything was perfect and all instructions were clear and information was left for us to take advantage of. Perfect stay in a great place!!!

Amazing stay at Gatehouse Barn. It is a really lovely, homely, welcoming place to stay. Plenty of sleeping options downstairs and up and a cosy living space. Also loads of seating areas outside which were perfect to enjoy the sun. The area is really quiet and peaceful and the location of the barn is extra secluded and private. As a final bonus, the attached spa area was a real treat after long walks (loads of which can start literally from the front door).

Fabulous! We had 6 days at the Old Piggery and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hosts are brilliant and the accommodation equally brilliant too. Peaceful location, well kept gardens, lovely hot tub and there was everything we needed at the accommodation. The hosts also left us some lovely surprises/treats too. Very thoughtful! We enjoyed it so much we didn't want to come home and we will be back again in future. Thank you Sue and Phil!

We had an absolute wonderful two-night stay at this cottage! It's lovely, spotlessly clean, and incredibly well-equipped with everything you could need. The welcome gifts were a delightful surprise, and the hosts were so friendly and quick to respond to all our messages. The location is perfect, just a short few minutes drive to the beach. What truly stood out was their amazing hospitality: we accidentally left something behind, and they sent it to us via next-day delivery without hesitation. We can't recommend this place enough!

We loved our 4 night stay at Sandy pebbles. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and extremely clean with plenty of space to relax and unwind. There was a well stocked kitchen, large bathroom and very comfy beds in the lovely bedrooms. Having streaming TV and Alexa were great extras and we loved lighting the wood burning stove. Thanks to Kerry for the coffee, fizz and biscuits! The cottage is perfectly located in a quiet street just 5 minutes stroll to lovely Amble harbour. We would love to return to Sandy Pebbles in the future. We felt it was a ‘home from home’

This house is a home from home. Everything you might need and so much you hadn’t even thought of. Carolyn is an excellent host. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Beautiful welcome basket with both necessities and treats. Sipping bubbles on the balcony watching the sunset; what more could you need. The upstairs lounge was so beautiful, with lots of restful seating, lots of tables for drinks (with enough mats too), nice reading area and a cupboard full of books if it’s wet. We were lucky with the weather, but the house would easily keep you entertained in bad weather. Nice to have fresh flowers. The house was the right temperature and the underfloor heating in the bathroom was a lovely surprise. The kitchen and bat(room cupboards have absolutely everything you’ll ever need and more. Great system for leaving all used items in one bag at check-out. Carolyn is a super efficient, super friendly host. Without doubt a fab-u-lous place to holiday. Thank you

Lovely cottage with beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Everything we needed for a peaceful weekend away exploring Northumberland. Will definitely be returning next summer

The cottage is lovely with some thoughtful extras like a head torch and some milk. I loved the location and views. I will definitely come back again.

We had a great time at Jane’s place in Amble. The location was good for us without a car. There are nearby supermarkets and bus stop and it’s a few minutes walk to the harbour. Warkworth and Alnmouth are in easy reach. Comfort is important to us. We liked the comfy bed / bedding / sofas / footstool / blankets and the smart tv with Netflix. There is a good shower and bath too. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a washing machine. We enjoyed sitting outside to eat in the cute little garden area. Jane was a great, responsive host! Thank you Jane, we will definitely be back!

A homely, comfy cottage within easy driving distance to the coast and the local castles and the moors inland. Easy parking and great to have an EV Charger. Victoria was always prompt with her replies and helpful. We will visit again! Thank you

We had a great stay at Findara. Lovely cottage to stay in with great decor. Situated in a peaceful location with a secure garden that our dogs could run around in. Lydia gave us some good recommendations for places to visit and eat. Would recommend to stay here.

Beautiful property in a stunning seafront location. The cottage had all the amenities we needed with a wonderful view of the sea. Nigel and Jane were very welcoming and recommended a bistro in Amble, Jaspers which was one of the best meals we have had in a long time.

This cottage is a little gem to be found. It was perfect, very peaceful location. Small and neat, exactly as described and photos shown, has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Great location easy access to local places. The welcome pack of goodies is a really nice touch, and the Brownies were exceptionally nice. Would highly recommend this little gem.

We had a wonderful stay at penguin cottage. Absolutely beautiful location, perfect for those who want more privacy/quiet surroundings. The cottage was cleaned to a very high standard, had all the needed facilities, and we very much appreciated Laura providing milk, shortbread, coffee etc. Would happily stay again.

Place is quite & great, location wise it’s in front of sea with great views. I loved the rocking chair, using it most of the time. My son loved it, having beach just 1 min walk & kids park as well on 1min walk. Beach is even good & safe during evenings with low tide safe for kids to enjoy with less water. I will definitely recommend this place for family.

We had a fantastic stay at Cloggy’s cottage. The location is very central but private and quiet. The cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard and everything is good quality, very comfortable and immaculately clean. Everything has been thought about to ensure a great stay, from the lovely welcome fizz to the little extras (like boxes of tissues and a decent hairdryer!). We appreciated the welcome from Anne and would definitely stay when back in the area. Would also recommend Black Swan round the corner for a meal.

Richard’s place is a few miles from Berwick on Tweed. Therefore you are close to eateries, supermarkets and the like. You are also very close to the Scotland border and places like Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle, Alnwick Castle etc. Richard provided some fresh bread and milk as well as cereals and jam. Richard was also very helpful when we had a tyre issue with the car and provided a phone so we could contact the rental car company. If in the area we would certainly stay again
