Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Scott County

Amanda went above & beyond to help us feel welcome & make our stay relaxing. We were greeted with a big smile, flowers, freshly made juice, and nuts. She even provided donuts & eggs for breakfast. The main house where we stayed was lovely: nicely appointed with a variety of sleeping options. One thing to note though is that the main house where we stayed is not handicap friendly - having lots of steps to enter and to get to the bedrooms. Amanda made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable, offering her services if we ever needed her & providing a blow-up mattress & pump that we later realized we needed. She was always courteous & observant of our privacy. Although we rented the house on short notice, Amanda worked diligently to make sure it was very clean & ready for our stay. The house is in a safe, quiet, wooded area on a circle road. There is ample parking, with space for up to five cars. We would definitely rent this house again if ever back in the area.

My group was in town for a wedding, location was great. Easy to get where we needed to go. More than enough space for a larger family. We did run into a few issues, but a resolution was found and the host was very responsive which we really appreciated.

Their room was exactly what we needed. Close to our destination. Clean, beautiful accommodations! Both Tom & Lisa made us feel at home and checked on us to make sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. Excellent stay!!!

This was a great place to stay with our daughter and 4 grandkids. We loved the cabin feel but more than enough room for the 7 of us. And such a treat to have a great view of the lake to wake up to and watch as the sun set! The kids loved swimming by the dock. And the highlight was taking them kayaking, cooking in the well stocked kitchen and sharing meals and memories.

Cheryl was such a great host! Her house felt like a mid western homes I grew up in and stayed at with family. Cheryl was so sweet and very kind to us for our entire stay!

Easily one of the best locations I've stayed at. The house and boat house were lovely, the host was very responsive, the location was great. We went to the renfest after checking out which is just down the road, 10 out of 10 stars.

This place is perfect for a get away with some friends and family. It is close enough to everything you need but still private. Billy was easy to work with and responded quickly to my questions. Overall, our experience was pleasant and relaxing.

I chose this place because it hosts a large gathering very well. There are lots of beds and bathrooms, table, and fridge space. There were so many great spaces for a large group to sit together, eat together, and hang out. The heated pool was perfect for a 73 degree mid-June afternoon. The backyard is very private, and the pictures don't show it but it has string lighting to make the evening look magical. The place is very classy and the pictures on the listing don't really do it justice. Jeffrey was very responsive and welcoming. We wished we had booked an extra night, and didn't want to leave!

The space was clean, comfortable, and well-located - perfect for exploring the neighborhood and nearby Macalester College. The private balcony off the bedroom is especially nice.

Such a cute place with so much charm! It had everything we needed and was such a good location close to many restaurants, shops and a great park down the road. We hope to come back to visit!

Very sweet spot. Bigger/better in person than in the pics. Although it is all one open space, there is some privacy in the two sleeping areas.

we had an unfortunate event happen but thankfully the neighbors and hosts were quick to help and help us solve our issue. great location, conveniently right between all the stadiums. deep bathtub with lots of hot water! comfortable bed with good pillows! coffee, pop, water and oatmeal provided!

I was on the road for 23 hours before finally arriving at Tina’s. It was my first time to Minnesota and I am very glad that I chose her place for my family and I. It was peaceful, clean, quiet and very homely. We slept so soundly. It felt as though I hadn’t left home in how at peace we were. Tina responded to any queries I had promptly. I was clean, the kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom is very clean. The only downside for me was that I didn’t book her place for a longer time. I am definitely going back for a longer visit. If you’re still reading this please book already before someone else takes your dates. You won’t regret it one bit! 😀

We found Andy's place to be really nice. The place was not clean when we arrived at 4pm (check-in was at 3pm)however it seemed to a honest mistake with the cleaner forgetting and was remedied that evening. Andy and his brother were responsive immediately to our concerns. Overall, the place is conveniently located, easy to street park, nicely furnished, comfortable and stocked with basics the bathroom/kitchen such as soap, coffee/tea etc. I would recommend it!

Loved staying here with my family while dropping in for a quick visit in the twin cities. The lakes district is absolutely stunning, the architecture of the surrounding neighborhoods is hypnotizing. Staying here you’re located on a block away from Cedar lake and within striking distance of downtown MPLS. If you’re a runner/walker/biked the trail access is incredible. Access to the backyard area is quite nice in the summer as well! Thanks for hosting our lovely weekend! Cheers.

The place looks exactly like what you see in the photos. It is welcoming and in a peaceful location. The house has everything you will need, and it is very clean. Brenda is nice and provided clear instructions. We spent little time at the house as we were there for a working trip, but it was great to have a comfortable place to get back to after long days of data collection.

Listened to the birds each morning. Relaxing. Beautiful views. SeeWe enjoyed the cabin with all of the space for 7 of us. We also had some family stop out for quick visits and there was plenty of room. We used their fire pit down by the lake since the weather was perfect for it!

This lake house was great! Right on the water. Beautiful view. It is way out in the country and very quiet. We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night overlooking the water. The house was perfect for our family as we needed three beds, so we were able to use the two rooms and the pull out couch. Everything was very clean. Peggy was great about communicating with us and making sure we knew exactly how to get there and find our way in. Overall would recommend staying here!

Gage and Natasha are wonderful hosts. Cabin was very cozy with wonderful views of Shield's Lake. Perfect place to have an outdoor fire. Lots of trails to walk. Definitely would stay again!

Charles was a great host. The property was exactly what we hoped for, a place that could fit our group of seven that was beautiful and peaceful. My friends and I had a great time playing yard games, fishing and grilling a lot of food.
