Vacation rentals with breakfast in Scilla

This was a wonderful place in which to spend several days exploring beautiful Reggio Calabria and Sicily. Our hostess and host were exceptional - extraordinarily generous and kind. We were showered with thoughtful gifts of eggs, fruit, fresh picked vegetables from their garden and a bottle of their home-made wine (which was excellent). They were patient with our questions and were a fount of local insights and knowledge. Over decades of travel, they rank at the very top of the hosts that we have met. The house was immaculate, modern and very well appointed and lived up to every one of our expectations. It is on the edge of a small village and was serene and peaceful. The house is located outside of Reggio Calabria and close to the ferries to Sicily in Villa San Giovanni. A car is strongly recommended to enable local travel and trips to Sicily (which are very easy to arrange). All in all, an exceptional stay. Thank you!!!!

I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

Really great stay – the apartment was just as expected, and the host went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs. Felt very well taken care of!

we had a great time in a beautiful village close to etna. the property is beautiful, and we felt very welcomed by the owner, his cute dog and even 2 horses.

Where do I start. Beautiful house up in the hills around 5km from town. On arrival we were welcomed by Vitoria and his family and immediately felt at home. Evening meal with wine was offered for €25 each, glad we accepted as it was the best meal in Italy so far. Typical Calabrian food mostly from their farm. Served outside on the terrace by all family members and w Service was like you would get in a restaurant. On arrival, fridge had water, bread, fruit juice, salami and fresh milk along with a fresh bowl of oranges from the garden. Fresh baked croissants delivered for breakfast along with fresh peaches. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfy beds. On leaving, Vittorio’s wife supplied us with home made Nduja Calabrese and jars of pickled vegetables. Cute and very friendly dogs. What a wonderful family to stay with ❤️🇮🇹❤️👌

Simona, Valentina, and her adorable son are wonderful hosts! The apartment is situated in a great location for visiting Tropea, Pizzo, Capo Vaticano and more. We were greeted with smiles and joy just lovely all around. Simona left us Prosecco, fruits from her garden, coffee and more. The apartment is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Exceptional value for your money ❤️ Thank you again for having us!

We (two couples) were on our 11th day of travel and had spent the day hiking on Mt Etna and were tired, so it was nice to find a place so convenient that also had private parking. When we arrived we weren't certain of the precise location so Rosanna met us on the street side and showed us the proper entrance to park the car which was a gated and secure parking area. Wow!. There was also a luggage cart to help us get our luggage into the building. And then only one flight of stairs up to the apartment. The apartment was well equipped with all the basics and we really appreciated the snacks and Nutella, and my husband loved the ice cream treat - a very pleasant and thoughtful surprise after a long long day. We had heard of a great restaurant nearby but found the apartment so relaxing that we stayed in and finished some of our travel food (and wine). Overall, for us, it was a perfect overnight location. Definitely recommend.

Armando’s house was very clean, and he was a very good host. He was communicative, welcoming, and even helped extend our checkout. A++ recommend.

there is a big problem in this stay: it lasted too little! We stayed one day inside this lovely apartment, my cousin and I had a great time! I have been around the world for years thanks to my work and I have visited and met billions of owners and I have to say that people like Mr. Pippo and the whole group, are rare people to find. A welcome worthy of a 4-star, super clean and fragrant house, cared for in every detail, a courtesy and kindness unbeatable. We found breakfast, water and excellent seasonal fruits (including their gardens). When we wanted to rent bikes, they were promptly made available to us, with the message before using them. In the evening we unexpectedly received excellent homemade pizza by Mr. Pippo and all his delicious family. We felt like family, really! We recommend it to everyone, treat them with care that are rare to date people like this.

Beautifully Sicilian equipped space. Terraces for every room. A large spacious equipped kitchen with a terrace. Stones of the wall and floor, with no heating quite cold (in March). The only downside - mold on the ceiling in one of the two bathrooms. The neighborhood is quite noisy. In fact, the neighborhood is generally pleasant, right under Etna, so it is a great place and Giarre is a small town not so touristy, so you will experience such a normal day of the Sicily resident.

Nothing to say, the location is spectacular. Emanuele was truly an exquisite person who was very kind, the apartment was above all modern expectations, furnished well equipped with all the comforts. Quiet area, there are no noises, well connected well between Catanzaro and Catanzaro lido, so well served, so I could say, perhaps, one of the best apartments that I have found in many years that I use Airbnb like these few around, almost everyone is scrambled or badly kept for the rest. I would like to thank Emanuela's hospitality and especially for allowing me to use her apartment which was a delight for me.

Elisa’s place was great! The location is perfect just down the hill from Taormina, it is an easy walk up to the parking garage which takes you right up to Corso Umberto. Place was perfect and just as described. Restaurant above was fantastic and the views are unbeatable. Oh and the shower water pressure was amazing. Noise above due to the restaurant till about 11:30pm but it wasn’t a problem for us. Would stay again!

We spent three days as a couple at Antonio's place and had a lovely time. Beach, restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance. Buses also run regularly to the nearest cities. The location is very quiet, and in May there were only a few tourists on site. The place was well equipped – we had everything we needed and felt very comfortable. Antonio was very friendly and helpful. Communication via the platform was straightforward and reliable. We highly recommend this place.

First and foremost Diego was an amazing host, helping me with my bags up and down the stairs and cooking the most amazing breakfast each day. The room is exactly as pictured, so cute and with an amazing view of the ocean.

The listing matches the description. The room is clean and has a pleasant view. The building is easy to find and in great condition. The hosts are friendly, kind, and helpful. Overall, a great experience!

Clean room, convenient place to visit Reggio on foot, free parking nearby; being May 1st you could hear some noise from the street which however did not prevent you from sleeping. Above all, Sabrina was very kind and warm from arrival to departure, a smiling and friendly person! I'll be back :)

Giuseppe is a great host. Gave us a great layout of the sights to see around Taormina. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. 5 minute walking distance to main center. grocery market 2 minute walk. couldn't have asked for better location. extremely quiet. very comfortable bed. we were able to use kitchen to prepare our breakfast each morning. Giuseppe has the kitchen stocked with oils, salt/pepper, little snacks, tea, coffee to make breakfast easy. would stay here again :)

Ludovica's B&B is certainly the place to stay if journeying to Giardini-Naxos. Ludovica was a wonderful host and greeted us on our arrival with some excellent tips for navigating the local area. She was incredibly helpful to us throughout our stay. The villa apartment was clean and homely. Ludovica and her colleagues provided a lovely continental breakfast every morning with an array of savoury and sweet items that would cater to anyone's taste. The B&B can also be commended for its prioritisation of the environment in using energy, water, and waste-reduction strategies. We loved our stay and it made our time in Sicily all the more special. We are very grateful to Ludovica for her time!
