Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Schweinfurt

We had a lovely, albeit very wet Pentecost weekend in Rachel's house. We were two families (6 people, 2 children (3 years old)). We particularly liked how child-friendly and well-equipped the house was. There are plenty of toys and the trampoline in the garden was a hit. The surroundings are beautifully idyllic. However, we were a little surprised by the high tick volume, but that's nobody's fault. However, you should prepare for a vacation in the area (vaccination, spray) and check daily, especially with the kids. The house was very cozy and could be heated wonderfully with the fireplace in the unfortunately very bad weather. The footpath to the house, which is slightly elevated, was a bit impractical. If you arrive with a little more luggage and shopping, you have to walk the way several times, but it worked. Overall, we were satisfied and felt very comfortable.

The hosts both Caroline and Alexander are very friendly and responsive. Communication was perfect and the check in was very easy. The pictures don’t do the place the justice. It’s so much more beautiful than on the pictures. It’s a wonderful place and very peaceful. The house itself is so well equipped. You can definitely tell that the owners spends a lot time and money to renovate it. The house was super clean. The sauna was a hit, also our children enjoyed it very much. We spend a lot of time playing in the garden and enjoyed a local bier garden. I recommend this house to anyone who values privacy and peaceful space, where you can easily relax surrounded by the forest and enjoy waking up in a exceptionally comfortable and beautifully decorated house. Will definitely come back.

The accommodation is an absolute dream. There were 9 of us and we all liked it very much, no complaints, there is a lot of space, you can sleep very comfortably, the bathrooms are new and modern, there are TVs in every bedroom. The winter garden invites you to cozy evenings and the garden downstairs with terrace is also very nice. All in all, the accommodation is worth every penny!Thank you very much.

Claudia was an amazing host. We felt very comfortable in the rustic Lohrhäusle. The amenities were excellent, we didn't lack anything. Even coffee, spices, pasta and oil/vinegar were available. The location in the middle of the old town of Lohr was perfect for us. Booking and communication with Claudia was easy and timely. Thank you so much.

More of a detached house (on the 2nd & 3rd floor) than an apartment, really great private. Shutters allow for dark sleeping. An old building, but nicely renovated inside! We felt very comfortable.

We were with a group of 13 and enjoyed the accommodation immensely. In the house there was enough to keep us busy, I am thinking of the great sauna and swimming pond but also the extensive range of board games, toys, chess board and poker set. It is a very charming house that is modern where it should be. The area was beautiful and even more beautiful than in the picture. You can take a very nice walk directly from the garden and you are really in nature. This is definitely recommended!

A Home Away from Home – 10 Stars If We Could! Our stay at Mrs. Heidi and Mr. Herbert’s home in Nuremberg this January was beyond exceptional. As first-time exhibitors at the trade fair, we were new to the city, but their warmth, kindness, and incredible hospitality made all the difference. The home itself was impeccably maintained, and to our surprise, the kitchen was fully stocked —making us feel even more at home. they personally ensured that our entire floor was cleaned daily with the utmost care. Such dedication and generosity are truly rare! Me and my two sons are deeply touched by their thoughtfulness and the genuine care they extended to us. Their home exudes warmth, comfort, an experience we will cherish forever. We cannot thank them enough for support. If we could, we would give them 10 stars! Beautiful exceptional accommodation in the countryside. We had a lovely stay and felt very comfortable. Everyone is very nice, friendly and helpful. A great location in the countryside.

We had very pleasant days. The house was perfectly furnished, we lacked nothing. Balcony and living room offer a beautiful south view of the meadows and fields in front of the house. The quiet location in the small town invites you to small and large hikes. If you get into the car, you can reach the famous sights of the Rhön in 10 to 30 minutes, such as the Milsburg, the Wasserkuppe, the Schwarze Moor, Bishofsheim and the Gangolfsberg. Our 5-day stay in this apartment was absolutely wonderful! The decor was not only beautiful, but also very tasteful and immediately gave us a feeling of home. Particularly noteworthy is the sauna, which turned our stay into a relaxing oasis. The apartment was always clean, which shows how much value the landlady places on cleanliness and comfort. We were greeted with loving care that we so rarely experience. The landlady herself was incredibly warm and always took care of our well-being. The location of the apartment in a quiet and relaxing area perfectly rounded off our vacation. Here you could really switch off and relax. We highly recommend this stay and would come back any time. All good. Rooms are all individually lockable, so be careful not to lock yourself out at night (code was directly above the lock, so not bad). And you should be aware that the pool and garden are of course also used by the residents. Nevertheless, it was very nice that you could use it as a guest.

Great stay! Most of all, we enjoyed the great location right by the river with the many water birds. You could even see cranes. And the sauna was great - especially because it rained every now and then. You can see that from the cozy warm sauna window! The furnishings are also perfect! Unfortunately, we didn't have matches for the existing candle. A clear recommendation from us !

We had a great time in Claudia's beautiful apartment! The lakeside location is wonderfully idyllic and the apartment is very modern and tastefully decorated. Everything we needed was there. Claudia has always responded to messages in a friendly and prompt manner. We can fully recommend Claudia and her apartment and would love to come back!

Harald and Martin are great hosts. The communication was very pleasant – they always responded quickly and helped us with all concerns. The room looks exactly like the photos, is stylishly furnished, and we felt very comfortable and welcome here. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable. Our little dog was also very relaxed in the apartment. There are many green spaces in the area, ideal for walks with the dog.

It was great to stay here. The space is big and light, the view is perfect. The garden does not have a fence around it at all places, which was not so handy with an exploring dog. But with kids it is perfect as the garden is surrounded by plants and borders as well as it being in a high position from the road. Very nice to have a path next to the house where you can walk along the quiet hills. Hosts are superfriendly and it was very nice that we could park our car in front of the house under the kitchenwindow. We will gladly come back when we visit our family in Schweinfurt again. Thanks!

Everything was there, really everything you could ever need.

We had a super nice stay in a spacious and well-equipped apartment. The hike from the house to the vineyards and to the Main, with surprising and warm encounters, made us very happy and rounded off the vacation. We were also positively surprised by the culinary environment, despite our vegan wishes. Thank you for the time with the cute alpacas that you took for us, dear Marcus, happy to come back!
