Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Scharendijke

We chose Sylvia's house to spend our second week in the Netherlands. The house is located in a beautiful bungalow park and offers tranquility, a great, large garden and is very well equipped. Ouddorp is a beautiful place with excellent infrastructure. The area is really great: everything is very close and you can easily reach it by bike. A fantastic network of bike paths awaits you and you can ride great tours every day. The beach is clean and spacious. There are also very nice places in the area waiting to be discovered. Rest, relaxation and activity. This is how our vacation with Sylvia can be summarized.

We had the most wonderful week at Frederiek’s place. We were there with our toddler and he loved the big garden and trampoline! The hosts also supplied a highchair and brilliant travel cot which was great and few car toys which got well used. We loved meeting Elmo the dog and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thanks for your kind and considerate hospitality Frederiek!

We had a very nice time over a long weekend with several generations. Super nice house with a great garden. We had rain and sunshine and both are equally beautiful! If you like it cozy, just turn on the fireplace. The immediate area is great for beautiful walks. A mini supermarket is a 7-minute walk away, where there are really delicious chocolate croissants🤗. The house lacks nothing and is super cozy and perfectly divided. We'll be back!

We were traveling by bicycle and used Ben and Inge's accommodation for 3 nights. On the one hand, the proximity of Amsterdam (with a bus stop nearby and the train from Weesp... totally easy!) and the really beautiful small towns of Weesp, Muiden and Naarden. Inge brought us an incredibly great breakfast every morning on request. She is a great, very friendly host. Thank you so much for this great start to the day. We felt very comfortable with Ben and Inge and appreciated their hospitality very much. The small independent apartment is very quiet, very clean and cozy (as in the photos). Actually a real insider tip, ....psst, but don't tell anyone :-) Thank you, Inge and Ben for the great time! Thomas & Astrid

This is a lovely home in a quiet and stunning setting on the water. Great for families with kids. This is a great location to explore the lake from and has lots of amenities available for the guests to keep kids busy. Hosts were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. Highly recommend a stay here.

We had a great short vacation and would be very happy to come back. Our three children felt very comfortable and everything was very successful. :)

We were completely satisfied with the stay. Check-in would have been possible much earlier, the place was sparkling clean and lovingly prepared upon arrival. The hostess was always quickly available to us and very helpful. The house itself is freshly renovated and ultra-modern. The garden is large and the beach is reachable in a few minutes' walk. The parking space for four vehicles right by the house is also great. We enjoyed the stay very much and can recommend Grete and the accommodation without reservation.

Anton was very friendly. Since he was on vacation himself, his daughter looked after us. She was also very friendly and helpful. Very cute cottage with everything you need. Shopping facilities are within walking distance. By car, you can reach the next largest city (Goes) in 10 minutes. Thank you and all the best to Anton and his family. We will be happy to come back :)

Ernest is a beautiful apartment, we immediately felt at home. Bonus is the terrace with outdoor table and chairs. Here wonderfully seated in the sun and enjoyed the good life. Also for my mother who runs a little worse, the center was easily accessible on foot. Also within walking distance of the Vrijbroekpark where you can run, walk and sit on the terrace. We had good and quick contact with Lisbet, in short: our stay was wonderful and we definitely recommend it!

The stay at Marjolein and Michiel's was exceptionally nice and cozy. Quietly located, beautiful ambiance with private pond terrace and garden. Ideal for cycling tours to the World Heritage Site to the mills in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, as well as to Dordrecht. The water bus is also highly recommended! Since my husband turned 60, Michiel had thoughtfully put a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and extensive. The beds are very comfortable. Overall, the room could be darkened well for sleeping. The car could be parked very safely in the courtyard. Thank you so much again for the wonderful stay!! Joke & Marcs place was ideal for us as it was well designed for a couple like us. The setting was peaceful and we could sit out in the evening with a drink overlooking the river. Everything we needed was provided and J&M were really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you wish to explore South Holland.

Staying with Krosje, was a great experience. Her communication and flexibility around check in was great. Krosje, went above and beyond, helping my father and I with directions and planning a cycling route, as we had our bicycles. Also she made a reservation for dinner on, our behalf at a great local restaurant. The apartment was spotless and well thought out. Thanks for a great and welcoming stay Krosje.

Beautifully located accommodation in the middle of the countryside! You wake up in the morning with birdsong and have breakfast on the beautiful terrace and enjoy the peace in nature. The sauna also offers a great recreational opportunity. In the nicely furnished apartment you will find everything you need.

We had a lovely weekend. Log cabin was neat and looks super nice. Hottub was also wonderful. Perfect place to relax and unwind. Breakfast is also definitely recommended.

Wonderful accommodation, in the middle of the forest. Very friendly and proactive host. Everything is available in the house. Beautiful garden. Only downside: for the shower you have to go through one of the bedrooms.

The tiny house from John is located in Delft, a charming city easily reachable by foot or bike with a lot of restaurants. To Den Haag center it’s about 40 min bicycle ride, and to Rotterdam also probably 50 to 60 minutes. The tiny house had everything you‘d need for a few days and we have stayed as three people, which is also doable. The terrace is nice. John was very kind and always reachable for questions. We can recommend his accommodation! :)

A weekend getaway, catch your breath without the kids. We stayed two nights in AWolf . A beautiful home! We loved the decor and used materials. A good bed, with lovely sheets. Wake up with a view of the beautiful garden and birds chirping. We were looking for peace, slow mornings, time for each other. Cozy by the fire, chilling in the lounge. An outdoor bath had finished it all. Everything you need was present, only the pots for cooking on the fire outside we missed. At 10 min drive you are at the supermarket. Quiet neighborhood, occasionally you can hear a train passing by when you're out. Absolutely didn't bother. Beautiful hiking area. Contact Katrien very smoothly and well. The contact with Sonja on site was less warm and we found rather unnecessary. Check-in with key box (which actually says in the description) would certainly have been fine and would have saved us a little stress. We will definitely come back, then with our dangles!

This garden hideaway was a perfect place to unwind and take walks to magical places nearby. After several days in various cities I was ready for a break. A nearby island with a beach can reach by a pedestrian bridge just past the little grocery store. An old forest preserve with long allees of towering trees leading to a manor house and gardens can be reached just up the road in the other direction. Other reviews mentioned the occasional sound of planes which I barely registered. The sounds of the city were replace by the sound of wind in the trees and of a neighborhood rooster in the morning which I liked. Marjolein and Anton were a sheer delignt. Take a break and stay here for a few days.

A super beautiful, quiet and cozy house. We had a great time! The photos capture the vibe accurately. Plus you have horses in view at any time you want. An easy 15 mins walk to the beach & approx. 20/25 mins to town and the nearest restaurants/bars. Tjeerd & Laurie are super responsive and always offer kind advice when needed. We’d be happy to come back another time!

Apart from a small miscommunication on arrival, we had a great time. Very nice accommodation and friendly host. Highly recommendable.
