The village is dominated by the majestic summit of Mount Carpegna, which shows on this steep slope side, with thick beech trees alternating with the bare rock; allaround there is a varied mosaic of crops, woodland and, here and there, of sharp rocky spikes dominated by ancient fortresses. The ancient village is a short walk away and deserves your attention. The extensive land around the house is magnificent to visit on horseback or with a beautiful walk. The ancient village in which it is located, Mercato Saraceno, already existed in 1153 when Saraceno degli Onesti wanted to create a market near the water mill, on the open space near the river with the only bridge over the Savio between Cesena and Bagno di Romagna.
