Country slow living at its best combined with outstanding hospitality. Our vacation started right after we entered the apartment which was exactly as described and cleaned to perfection. We immediately got recommendations on possible activities in the region and were actively supported during support with any request we had. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some relaxation in a peaceful environment.

The villa, grounds and hosts were fabulous! The views were amazing, the villa extremely clean and well appointed, the pool absolutely delightful, and the surrounding towns and wineries fantastic to explore. Supermarket very close.

Caroline's villa was absolutely stunning. We visited as a family of 8 adults and it was even more beautiful in person. It's completely private with amazing views all around. It's also in a great location to visit other picturesque villages nearby with a car. The pool was a great addition to combat the Tuscan heat. As this is in the countryside, be aware that there will be insects and wildlife. We came across a snake and a scorpion, but that's not an issue with the house, but rather the natural environment. The property manager Bianca greeted us upon arrival. She was super friendly and helpful with tips. And Caroline left us super detailed recommendations for restaurants, itineraries, and wineries. She was always available and friendly. We had an amazing time and would definitely visit again!

Vacanza fantastica!! La posizione è incredibile sulla costa rocciosa con una vista mozzafiato! Davanti alla terrazza un mare incredibile con vista sull’Argentario, il Giglio e la Rocca Aldobrandesca. Casa super fornita (piatti bicchieri e pentole in abbondanza) per meravigliosi pranzi sulla terrazza. Frigo molto ampio. Luigi è stato un host molto disponibile e gentile. Accesso al mare fantastico e direttamente dalla casa, ma con 150 gradini a strapiombo, quindi non adatto a disabili, anziani e bambini piccoli. Ma lo stabilimento balneare attrezzato è comunque a 10 minuti a piedi.

Am Liebsten würde ich 6 Sterne vergeben! Die Unterkunft von Tommaso ist mindestens so schön wie auf den Fotos. Das Haus hat eine wunderbare Atmosphäre und ein sehr angenehmes Wohnklima. Es ist äußerst geschmackvoll und gemütlich eingerichtet und wir haben uns dort sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt und bei unserer Ankunft war alles blitzsauber. Ganz besonders erfreut hat uns der Ausblick von der Terasse und von dem überdachten Essplatz: man ist von einem (Bio) Olivenhain umgeben und sieht über das umgebende Tal auf die grünen, sanften Hügel der Toscana bis zum Monte Amiata. In der Umgebung gibt es einerseits einige sehr sehenswerte typisch Toskanische Städtchen wie Pienza und Montalcino - diese haben wir auch „erwandert“; andererseits ist es in größere Städte wie Siena und Montepulciano auch nicht weit. Ein Ausflug ans Meer ist ebenfalls gut machbar. Tommaso und Laura waren jederzeit erreichbar, hilfreich und zuvorkommend. Wir sind einfach begeistert!

Superbe petite maison nichée au cœur de la Toscane dans un hameau de quelques maisons… superbe vue depuis le balcon, espace piscine paisible et bien aménagé, maison confortable et très bien équipée. Un endroit de rêve pour un séjour exclusif à quelques pas de charmants villages Toscans.

Mein Aufenthalt war einfach nur fantastisch!🥰 Das Haus ist wunderschön – mit so viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und richtig gemütlich. Man merkt sofort, dass hier jemand mit Herz dabei ist. Alles war super sauber, die Lage perfekt und die Atmosphäre total entspannt. Ich hab mich vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause gefühlt.🏠😍 Ein ganz großes Dankeschön an die Gastgeberin – sie war unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, falls man eine Frage hatte. Die Kommunikation lief total unkompliziert und freundlich. Man spürt einfach, dass ihr wichtig ist, dass sich ihre Gäste wohlfühlen.❤️ Es war wirklich ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt – ich werde noch lange daran zurückdenken. Würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann es nur weiterempfehlen!

Fine settimana in famiglia che si è rivelato straordinario. Il casale è dotato di tutte le necessità. Spazi interni ed esterni ampi. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

Isabella’s place is beautiful and peaceful. The villa is exactly as in the picture and offer lots of common spaces were to relax and play, it is super clean and very well decorated, feels like home. The garden and the view are to die for. Waking up in the morning and see the sunrise over the sea was pure magic. The direct access to the sea was definitely a plus and we really enjoyed it . We recommend this place with no hesitation and we really hope to come back again. This place is a true gem, you won’t be disappointed and Isabella is a great host. Thank you for having us!

We stayed at this Villa for just under a week with 2 families and had the most amazing time. It was absolutely perfect. SO much space (2 kitchens, 3 living rooms, 7 bathrooms!!!!) The pool and grounds around the home are stunning and they take such great care of it. You can tell this is a family home that Federica and her family take great pride in. Federica and her son welcomed us at the villa and they were super responsive before and during our stay. They also recommended a lot of things like a driver for a wine tour, chef that came and cooked for us a couple nights (so delicious), etc. Am very sad to not be at this dreamy villa anymore and hope to go back at some point in the future. Highly recommend!!

Superb villa for 12 guests. 10 mns drive to a fabulous town or stay at home in comfort including an excellent pool surrounded by Impressionist views. Teresa is a gem. Pia recommended Eugenio and Pasquale of Italian Show Cooking and they produced a magnificent eight course banquet for my wife's 70th birthday party. This villa holds a very special place in our hearts and the hearts of our guests. Cman you give more than five stars?

I cannot recommend Villa Collombroso enough. We had such a wonderful 3+ week stay here with our two kids and family friends. Everyone was comfortable and at ease. We felt relaxed on the property and loved walking to see chickens. Everything was truly lovely and Taira and Gina made our experience excellent. We had a private meal cooked by Taira and did pizza making which were some of the best experiences! We enjoyed having a rental car and the access to drive into Orvieto easily but also quick day trips to Siena, Perugia, Assisi, Bolsena, and Lago Trasimeno. We used the train to get easily into Rome, Florence, and Venice. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Ludovica’s place is amazing and I would recommend everyone to stay here. It is super picturesque and Ludovica is such a warm and responsive host. She also has an animal shelter that guests can go to(: Home was clean and suitable for our large group of 11. Highly recommend!

From the very first inquiry about the property Ken was so responsive and helpful in our decision making. He answered my millions of questions quite patiently, understanding that we were making the decision for an entire family with one holiday a year! We made the right decision without a doubt. Ken’s home and property is much more beautiful than even the pictures can describe. The view from the patio/pool is fabulous with lake Trasimeno in the distance. The olive groves, the grape vines, the landscape was incredible. The setting and the privacy cant be beat. Our group up of 11 loved it. The kids loved exploring the flora and fauna and spent a lot of time in the natural surroundings and the fabulous pool The huge table on the patio was so much fun to sit around with candlelight and wine feeling so blessed to be there. There is a large family table inside as well. It had everything we needed, the casetta was amazing as well. It was perfect and idyllic. We will be back soon!!

We had an excellent time staying at this family home with an amazing view of Torrita di Siena. Great access to many popular hill towns (Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino, etc). The house and property are beautiful, very private and populated with song birds and olive trees. The hosts are charming and very welcoming. They provided us with all the recommendations we needed and were readily available whenever we wanted to communicate with them. The house is well appointed and has multiple ways to cook from gas range to pizza oven and wood fired grill. I really liked using the giant pinecones as fire starter. We would definitely return and hope to. Such a precious slice of paradise.

Notre séjour à Paciano était au delà de nos attentes. Le lieu est parfait, calme et offre une magnifique vue sur la vallée et le lac. La maison est tout équipée, rien à prévoir et nos hôtes étaient super disponibles et de bons conseils (merci pour les recettes). Commodité et commerce à 15 min en voiture. Idéalement placé entre Rome, Florence, Pise et Sienne. Rien à redire, c’était une très bonne surprise, merci à Maria Pia et Dante.

My family and I we had a wonderful holiday in this beautiful villa, surrounded by the magical atmosphere of the Umbria countryside. There is nothing we can complain about,everything was perfect,the swimming pool added a plus especially during the 2022 July’s heat wave! The pool was well maintained and daily cleaning service was provided by the owner’s handy man. We really hope to come back next year and make more unforgettable memories at the Hilltop Villa-Orvieto

Ilaria’s villa is a comfortable and stylish base from which to explore all the wonders that Maremma has to offer. We are a family of four, and after a couple of weeks in Italy, the kids were craving home-cooked meals, so we spent several hours in the kitchen and dining areas. It was delightful to cook while listening to the kids having fun in the pool. The beds were very comfortable and inviting. The villa is conveniently located near the old town center and several supermarkets. Since we were keen to visit Porto Ercole, Alberese, and Saturnia, we didn’t dedicate as much time to Grosseto as we should have. The old center has a very mellow vibe, and everyone we met was very friendly and welcoming. We wished we could have stayed longer. Finally, I want to say a big thank you to Ilaria for being so accommodating and kind. We are already looking forward to returning to your place.

An Unforgettable Stay with the Best Host Ever! Flaminia is truly the best host we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel completely at home. She’s incredibly helpful—always available and willing to assist with anything we needed, no questions asked. Her warm, down-to-earth personality made our stay not only comfortable but genuinely special. What made the experience even more memorable was her recommendation to try her father’s amazing Roman cuisine, perfectly paired with local wines. It was an unforgettable meal and a true highlight of our trip. The farmhouse itself is beautifully located in the heart of Tuscany. It’s the perfect base for exploring nearby cities and the stunning countryside. Thanks to the central location, we were able to easily travel around and soak in all the beauty Tuscany has to offer. Francas Haus in den Hügel der Toskana umgeben von Weinbergen ist in der Realität deutlich schöner als auf jedem Bild. Wir hatten eine ganz und großartige Woche dort und waren sogar richtig traurig als wir wieder fahren mussten. Alles an diesem einmaligen Ort lädt dazu ein, die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Bis auf ein zwei Stops für ein leckeres Frühstück im nahegelegenen Magliano sind wir immer auf dem Grundstück geblieben, weil es uns dort an wirklich nichts gemangelt hat.

Abbiamo soggiornato alla Casa del Fico in aprile 2025. La casa è molto bella, pulita e ben curata, collocata nel silenzio delle campagne retrostanti Marina di Pescia Romana, con numerosi posti letto a disposizione. Oltre alla sala da pranzo al piano terra ve ne è una anche nel seminterrato, entrambe con lunghi tavoli che consentono pranzi e cene anche per ospiti numerosi (noi eravamo in 9). Nel bel giardino è presente una piscina e un gazebo con un altro grande tavolo che consente di mangiare all’aperto, meglio se sotto le stelle, ben visibili stante lo scarso inquinamento luminoso della zona (specie per chi vive in città). Numerosi sono i luoghi da visitare nel circondario: Saturnia, Tarquinia, il parco archeologico di Vulci, Viterbo, il lago di Bolsena, la Maremma, solo per citarne alcuni, oltre ovviamente al mare. Il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile. Non possiamo che consigliare la Casa del Fico a tutti coloro che intendono programmare una vacanza in queste belle zone.

Ho passato il mio compleanno in questa meravigliosa villa in 4 persone e con due cani e ci siamo trovati benissimo!!! Super super consigliata!! La casa era molto pulita e dispone di un ampio spazio esterno nel quale i nostri cani si sono divertiti tantissimo!! Torneremo!
