Maria's Tower: a Bird's Eye View to the Sea Coast

PeterRating, 5 stars21 months ago
We spent intensive and eventful days in Montemassi and the surrounding area thanks to Gabriella. The spacious, ingeniously renovated and extremely well-furnished apartment is located in the middle of the old core of this beautiful place, offers an ingenious view to the south and into the medieval village. Our son was able to prepare for an exam thanks to the tranquility (car-free alleys). It was very helpful that the apartment is perfectly ventilated thanks to the mountain location and many windows and there is also an air conditioner. Montemassi as a place is enchantingly beautiful, the location is ideal for exploring the entire Maremma. There are very good restaurants in nearby Roccatederighi, the parco naturale della maremma is as close as Vetulonia, Monte Amiata, Monte Argentario, Val di Cornia, ... However, the most outstanding thing is the host. A treasure of communication, hospitality, helpfulness and loving humor. Grazie mille, cara Gabriella 🧡

Casa Fonte

Lovely little house near Grosseto area! Newly renovated, the pictures don't make it look as pretty as it is in person! It has everything you need, private parking is such a plus. All was amazing, they only thing was we booked right during a festival in the town so music was loud(last weekend of August) but other than that amazing stay!

Sunset Cottage in Maremma

AlexRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Brigitte was a great host. Really responsive. Its is in a village with a few bars and restaurants so you get the best of both worlds: outside space and a wonderful view plus you can eat out or have a drink in the village without having to drive at the end of a long day sightseeing. Great place to unwind from the stresses of London! The village is also well placed to explore Tuscany and visit less touristy spots.

Villa in Maremma

Massimo and his wife were great hosts. His place was ready and clean when we arrived. It had everything we needed. Massimo was always responsive and helpful. We were staying there for a wedding at La Pescaia and Massimo was kind enough to give us rides when needed. He went above and beyond to make us feel at home. I highly recommend Massimo’s place and would love to visit again. Thank you Massimo and Luana!

Villetta-Nicola - Tuscan vacation home

LudovicaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Spoiler for Italians.. no bidet. Very nice garden of the house, fantastic location, the inhabitants of Sassofortino are very kind and cheerful, nearby there are very nice fortresses and interesting walks. The kitchen is super equipped and we found a lot of wood to stay with the fireplace every night. We saw a wonderful starry sky! Klaus is super kind, friendly is always available! The only downside that I had already read in other reviews is the dated bedding. We'd love to come back

Romantic cottage with panoramic view

LauraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Pleasantly impressed by the decor of the apartment, special, very bright. Tidy, clean, all the necessary amenities. We only stayed one night and it was more than satisfactory. Rosita is very kind and helpful for any clarification. Both for check-in and check-out, clear instructions, and also for tips on where to go for a bite to eat.
The image captures a distant view of rolling hills and mountains under a soft sky. Olive trees frame the foreground, creating an inviting natural border, while a medieval structure is visible atop a hill in the background, hinting at the region's historical features.

Extended rustico within old olive trees

A great house in wonderful surroundings. We felt very comfortable and there was nothing missing in the amenities. A solitary house on a large property with breathtaking views. The trees provide natural shade and the building fabric keeps the house pleasantly tempered even in the summer. The hosts were very welcoming and always available. Simply a place to enjoy - pure Tuscany.
