We had the most wonderful holiday! Kids were happy, food was excellent and the setting gorgeous. We visited the beach, horse rides and lessons were given and we were spoilt with delicious breakfast buffets daily. As a mother, I felt very relaxed. The Robberg Walk was also stunning and worthwhile.

You book to stay on a farm - and you get LUXURY ..... Top class bathroom and furnishings. This is farmland - do not expect quick smooth tar road to arrive - but its a beautiful oasis. thank you

Great local for Mountain Zebra Park and the Cradock area. Also great stop over. Beautiful farm with interesting rock formation in the stream next to the cabin.

Niles and Will were such great hosts, very respectful of privacy and came to our aid immediately if we needed something and were very quick to respond. We were given some great information with much enthusiasm regarding things to do in the area and walks we could enjoy around the farm. We booked the Sunbird Cottage and it was perfect, very peaceful, wide open views; it had everything we needed. Drove there in my little Sedan and had no major issues with the dirt road. Was quite happy popping in and out to explore Graaff-Reinet, the Valley of Desolation & Nieu Bethesda. 10/10 would stay again. Absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended.

If you looking for a peaceful stay surrounded by the most beautiful scenery then this is the spot for you. This farm house is magical, our family loved exploring the farm and sitting overlooking the mountains while reading our books, the bedrooms are very spacious and beds so comfortable. The entertainment area is separate from the house which makes its nice for families who want me to put little ones to bed and enjoy an evening in front of an inside braai with a glass of wine. Our family loved it and we hope to be back soon. Thank you Lisel for providing us with such a special Easter weekend.

What a lovely place! Brenda is a fantastic host, she made us feel right at home; the cottage is comfortable and homely on a wonderfully peaceful farm in the Karoo. Dusty the lab was super friendly and took us on a lovely stroll around the farm which was just what we needed after having spent the day in the car. The braai pack Brenda supplied for our dinner was delicious and we had a lovely evening, enjoying the spectacular sunset and taking in the awe-inspiring night sky of the Karoo.

We loved the place the minute we walked into the cottage. Everything you need (and beyond) is there and the view over the valley is amazing. Michelle's place also offers some amazing walks in the forest, and it is a great place for bird watchers. This is a place for nature lovers and it is super easy to immerse into it. Having said this it is still a very comfortable place and Michelle does everything to make that this feels like a home-away-from home. What a beautiful place and for sure we will book it again!

What an amazing experience. We were so relaxed and enjoyed the tranquility that the farm had to offer. Just hearing the birds chirping was magical. Loved the outside bath, which I got to try out. Waldo was so welcoming, recommended the Plett wine & bubbly festival (which was amazing). Assisted us in getting the fire going in order to have braai on the Saturday evening. Definitely recommend the place.

We had the most incredible experience at Claire’s Airbnb! We hosted a baby shower here, and it was absolutely perfect in every way. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the setting with all the amazing animals made it truly special. From the moment we arrived, the staff was beyond accommodating, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that we felt welcome. The animals were a huge highlight! They added such a unique and magical touch to our celebration—everyone, from kids to adults, was in awe of them. It was such a joy to be surrounded by such a peaceful and beautiful environment. Claire and her team went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and their hospitality made all the difference. If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind venue for a special event or just a relaxing getaway, this is the place to be. We can't recommend it enough! This was my wife and I's first garden route trip and also had our 2 young boys. It was such a treat to stay here for a few nights, Tanja and her family definitely have an amazing gift of hospitality and hearing a bit of the history of the property was also sweet. Unbelievable sunsets!! Great home base to explore the surrounding area. We didn't manage to explore the hiking trails as much as we would've liked but we look forward to that next time! Book it whenever you can and enjoy!

We loved our stay and wished we could have spent a few nights here! It's a hidden gem and a perfect place to relax. We were very grateful that we didn't need to cook (the lamb pies were delicious)!

I absolutely loved Lydia's farm stay. It was stunning and tranquil. Lydia's communication and instructions were excellent. I will stay longer next time.

Peaceful, rustic farm living with a great view and incredible sunsets. Spacious bedrooms and living area and nice big outside space for kids to play. Close to some good hikes, a lovely beach (Buffalo Bay), a river for canoeing and farmers markets. And not too far away if you need to head into town (Knysna or Wilderness).

After a long road on our way to Knysna, this was a wonderful stopover. It is a bit far off the main road and therefore it will be better to stay there for another day. It is rest for the soul. Diane is a superb host. This farm house experience will stay in our memories for a long time. We travel to and from Knysna often, and we will definitely be visiting again. Thanks for a lovely place to stay.

What an absolutely lovely place! Beautiful home with comfortable areas outside. The best surprise was Angeline's freshly baked bread in the dover. what a luxurious treat!

Best stay by far. Host, Deborah, was very accommodating, responded timeously, allowed us to pick some herbs from the garden and introduced us to her horses. Accommodation was fantastic. Kitchen has all the essentials, house was neat and well kept and more than enough space for a group to be comfortable and enjoy their stay, whether outside around the fire pit, on the patio by the pool with a view of the mountains, or inside in the lounge watching TV with a fire going. Perfectly located, allowing you to enjoy the quiet bush getaway, while also just a short drive to the Plett beaches or the Tsitsikamma adventure activities, giving you an all round get away. Definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay - great location for the wine farms. Responsive host!

There were only 3 of us but the cottage caters for 6. The area is stunning, it had snowed and Hester kept me informed as to the state of the roads due to the snow. The cottage was cosy, had a wood fire and electric blankets so perfect.

What a beautiful setting! perfect for small family. and my kids LOVED the dogs, they so gentle and slept on the stoep the whole time 🩷
