Hello! We are Sonia, Elio and our daughter Beatriz. Our goal is to make your vacation unforgettable!! Welcome to our home!! The "Casinha da Beatriz" is located in Santana, land of typical houses, ex-libris and tourist poster of the island of Madeira. They were houses composed of an attic, where agricultural products were kept, and a ground floor with the living area. We rebuilt one of these typical "little houses," dating back to 1950, with all the comforts of today. It overlooks the sea/mountains.

A Unique Mountain Retreat with Sea Views Nestled in the mountains of São Vicente, Madeira, this private retreat is built around a natural rock with stunning sea and mountain views. It has a fully equipped kitchen and an ensuite double bedroom. Surrounded by nature, it’s a peaceful escape. Please note: access is via a beautiful 2-minute Levada walk from the road which may be challenging for guests with mobility issues. Jane & Adrian, your hosts live next door, are always happy to help if needed.

Está tudo pensado para que se sinta confortável e estarei sempre disponível para dar o meu apoio no que for necessário. Espero que me comuniquem qualquer situação que possa acontecer durante a estadia , de forma a que eu possa resolve-la, pois tudo o que quero é que levem boas recordações das vossas férias.

Palheiro Jardim Avó Graça [Grandma Graça's Garden]

The sea and the mountains are so close to you. Nature at its best. This site shows what the typical shelter of the ancient shepherds here on Madeira Island called Palheiro was like. Its function was to be the shelter for the shepherd/farmer to put the animals and store the products taken from the land and their food, such as cattle and goats. It was a place without great resources, very simple. The Palheiro do Jardim da Avó Graça is SLIGHTLY adapted to our times. It is a Rustic Place.
