Vacation rentals with a patio in Santana Beach

The apartment was in perfect condition with a very spacious kitchen, too bad it was not very well stocked with pots and pans. During my stay there was a blackout in the whole area, the guys promptly provided us with candles and ice for our food. Thank you very much.

Great place to stay. Restaurants and Beach are walkable from this location.

Estuvimos muy a gusto nos sentimos como en casa al apartamento y sus zonas comunes eran muy bonitas y tenía todas las comodidades ,el chek in fue super fácil ya que antes de llegar te daban todas las instrucciones con precisión, todo estaba super limpio e impecable sin duda lo recomendaría 100%

My stay at Thirsty Beaver was short but sweet! It’s walkable to the market, beach and the hosts are very welcoming at friendly. It’s obvious they care about your stay and do their best to make it great. The best dog scene!

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our time in SJDS. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful—always going above and beyond any time we had a question or needed anything. The apartment felt very safe and was nicely nestled away from the busy streets, yet the location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, stores, and anything else you might need. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need (and more), the bed was super comfy, and the AC made for a great night’s sleep. Would highly recommend!

Casa muito bonita , confortável e com uma área externa maravilhosa e privativa. A localização conforme descrita , 1 minuto de distância da praia . Excelente ! Melhor localização de Colorado na minha opinião Fui atendido rapidamente em todas as solicitações que necessitei. Os funcionários que estavam na casa foram muito educados e solicitos também. I booked this place for 2 nights for my wife and family (8 guests) We had a great time , it rained the first day but there is space on the property to relax and stay dry. Helpful and friendly staff and a really nice Place to stay with guests. Would recommend.

El lugar es tal como las fotos, cómodo, limpio y con todo lo necesario . Aunque no es frente a la playa lo compensa con el espacio abierto y verde alrededor , muy acogedor. La zona de la piscina es perfecta. Volveríamos sin duda

We’ve stayed at many houses in Hacienda Iguana and this house was by far our favorite. It’s got an amazing layout and gorgeous furniture + comfortable beds. But I’ll always remember the spectacular wrap around screened in porches on both levels. We stayed with our 4 month old and it was so beautiful to give him his midnight bottle in an Adirondack rocking chair on the screened in patio off the main bedroom…precious ‘new mom moments’ under the moon, stars, with the sound of the ocean (you can hear the waves at Panga Drops surf break). The property is located directly across the dirt road from the most secluded part of the beach. We had gorgeous evening walks at low tide sunset and came home to cook dinners in the well appointed kitchen. We had coffee by the crystal clear pool in the mornings and really enjoyed being walkable to Rancho Santanas Taqueria + the cute restaurants in Iguana. Bonus: we decided to elope! Garret and Laura’s place was lovely. Me and my family were very comfortable and spent a great time there. We loved the kitchen and pool the most. The check in was very easy, the house had everything we needed and they were within reach all the time. Looking forward to come back soon <3

The place is very pretty and the host very responsive. She provided an accommodation for the heat. The only downfall was that the water pressure in the showers was at a minimum which made it inconvenient for the amount of time we stayed.

Our stay at this beachfront rental was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The location couldn’t be better—just steps from a quiet, clean beach with soft sand and gentle waves. The neighborhood felt incredibly safe and peaceful, which made our trip even more relaxing. We loved taking evening walks along the shore and watching the sunset from the private deck. The home itself was spotless, secure, and clearly well-cared for. The smart lock entry gave us peace of mind, and we appreciated the motion lights and gated access. Inside, the décor was airy and coastal-chic, with plenty of space for our family of four. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and the beach towels was a thoughtful bonus. Communication with the host was easy and professional—she checked in with us and shared local tips that made our stay even more enjoyable. We felt truly at home, and most importantly, completely safe and comfortable the entire time.

Great location, the apartment is exactly what I thought it would be, clean, nice, stylish, organized. Benjamin is very responsive and friendly! Can’t complain! I come often to SJDS and definitely will be back at this place! I recommend it 1000%

Really lovely place to stay. Located in a beautiful spot and the apartment was exactly as described. All really clean and comfortable. A very short walk to the beach where there is a nice bar and restaurant. There is also a little pool just outside the apartment block which was really handy for little ones. Roberta was very helpful and quick to answer any question. We’d definitely stay here again!

Paul’s place was so lovely & spacious for us, we absolutely loved the open kitchen/lounge and balcony views. Everything very clean! Beds were SO comfortable, we had great nights sleeping there. The pool was also lovely & we were the only ones using it. It’s about 10-15 mins walk to town and easy to get cheap taxi’s back. Theres a small shop nearby for essentials. The only tiny downside was the WiFi was quite intermittent at times with all 4 of us using it, but this is to be expected in Nicaragua & we weren’t that bothered! Lovely stay and would love to stay again in the future!

This spot in Nicaragua is an absolute gem. It was our first trip as a family (my wife and our 10-month-old baby), and we all had a blast. Angela, our host, took care of all the logistics for getting to and from the airport, ensuring a stress-free arrival. You can run from the patio straight to one of the best waves in southern Nicaragua. The brand new private pool for guests was perfect for our baby, especially since the community pool can get crowded and noisy. Pili's restaurant and bar is just a 60-second walk from the unit, and we went often for yummy food. All the amenities are exactly as described, providing everything we needed. We needed special items for our baby, and Angela and her team sourced exactly what we needed. This was a game changer! It's a great spot for a family or a strict surf trip. We are already planning our next trip here (staying longer this time)! We had an incredible experience and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Nicaragua.

Maria Andrea es muy amable. Siempre a la orden para cualquier pregunta además que fue muy flexible con nosotros con respecto al check in y check out. Éramos 4 personas. El apartamento se encuentra en un edificio, complejo de apartamentos con vista al mar y al Cristo de San Juan del Sur. Hubo una restricción de 20kwh por día, la cual me pareció una buena iniciativa de ahorrar energía pensando el tema ecológico. Nosotros no usamos los aires acondicionados por decisión propia lo que nos mantuvo muy por debajo del límite y no tuvimos que pagar nada al final. con mucho gusto volvería al apartamento de María Andrea!

El alojamiento estaba en perfectas condiciones, muy cómodo, a solo pasos de la playa, los propietarios son muy amables y responden muy rápido cualquier duda. Para tomar en cuenta en el futuro, en el complejo hay 1 sola piscina para los 3 apartamentos, los propietarios viven ahí mismo, y aunque un automóvil puede ingresar por la calle, sí es mejor llegar con carro alto. Por lo demás, la estadía estuvo muy placentera.

I recently stayed at Mike’s place within the Iguana property and had a great experience. The location is excellent, situated right next to the entrance gate. Mike was super helpful and always available to assist. Although the description doesn’t specify, the bed is a queen size, which is slightly larger than it appears in the photos (a double bed) a pleasant surprise! The beach is about a 10-15 minute walk away, or just a 3-minute drive. Since we had visited before, we were aware of this detail. Initially, we were concerned about potential noise due to the proximity to a brewery and restaurants, but it was quiet, and we slept well. We’ll definitely plan to go back!
