Beachfront vacation rentals in Sandspit

I loved my time at Haida Gwaii Glamping! I felt right at home, welcomed by the hosts and also the space. I spent heaps of time in the sauna and cedar hot tub but there is also some nice hiking in the area and the beach is beautiful too! I even did a nordic circuit and plunged in the ocean which I highly recommend. Also the beds/bedding are super comfortable!! My only regret is that I had to leave at the end... Hoping to be back soon!

The cottage could not have been more perfect. Nestled near a coffee shop, local market and pub with amazing food as well as a beautiful pier to walk. James was engaging and responsive. Everything was clean, fresh, and comfy with quaint touches. Would (and will) stay again.

I have stayed at a lot of B&B’s but never have I met a host more responsive and caring as Sherri. She brought us fresh cinnamon buns in the morning and fresh caught salmon to eat for dinner. The salmon was the best I have ever had and the cinnamon rolls were fantastic. She was helpful when we got conflicting information from Air B&B headquarters that told us two different addresses. I phoned Sherri and she straightened us right out. I found my bed very comfortable and the house very clean. The view from the living room was jaw dropping and the wifi worked well as did the tv. I highly recommend this place to anyone coming for a. Isit. It is close to restaurant and shopping - easy walking distance. Thank you Sherri - what a fabulous stay we had with you.

we had such an amazing stay. the rustic-ness of glamping but like an outdoor-lovers' resort. hairdryers, bug spray, torches, hot water bottle in room... even provide bottomless shampoo and conditioner!! rooms were adorable and comfy loved that they were well stocked and willing to lend whatever you need for activities- we borrowed a bucket and net to go crabbing and came back to a crab pot and propane tank outside ready to go for us! not to mention all your firewood for beach fires is pre- cut, kept in plastic bags on the beach, with a container of kindling and lighter ready to go. now that is GLAMPING. not to mention that when you come back from crabbing cold and sore, there is a hot tub and sauna right there to set you right. loved being able to enjoy these activities without having to jump through a million hoops! I also worked remotely from the dome :) all staff are super friendly too and always do what they can to help. Alana and Amy were super generous in more ways than one

The perfect spot to take in the ever changing beauty of Haida Gwaii. Abalone Eyes House gave us a comfortable place to relax at the end of each day. The views of the mountains, inlet and town of Daajing Giids were breathtaking whether at sunrise or sunset. The place was clean, comfortable and spacious. We made most of our meals on site. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals, but you do need to remember to bring your own spices, condiments including cream and sugar, favourite coffee and teas, aluminum foil, storage bags and containers if making lunches to take with you. Mike is a wonderful host, so helpful and his dog Tender is very sweet. There is a staircase to the front door, but nothing even a couple of seniors couldn’t manage. The space is good for 2-4 people. Centrally located with easy access to and from the ferry terminal. When it’s time to leave, you will be wishing you had stayed longer.

Had a great three night stay at Cassie’s cabin before our cruise around Gwaii Hanaas. Shirley is a real super host, very proactive and accommodating. Easily walkable to restaurants and shopping. Beautiful waterfront view from the property. Would not hesitate to return.

Carrie Lee was very accommodating, and respectful of our privacy. responded immediately whenever we reached out. Tiny-Juul is a definite Jewel. we had our own private laundry when needed, the tiny home was cozy and provided everything necessary for our trip. Had amazing views and the brook next to the property was great for wildlife. The location was prime, and private but close to all amenities. We would definitely Stay again.

Great location for exploring the area. Close to restaurants, town, beaches. Kitchen very well equipped. Highly recommend.

Mike's place was fantastic. Every morning I drank my coffee on the patio overlooking the ocean. The views from the windows are beautiful. Everything was clean and the kitchen had all the appliances and cookware that you need. The soundproofing from the upstairs suite is great. could hear some light thumps from walking around, but couldn't hear anything else. The place felt really comfortable and relaxed. Easy walk into Daajing Giids, approx 10 mins. I would definitely stay at one of Mike's suites again.

What a lovely little home. So tastefully decorated and fully equipped with everything you would need. A cozy comfortable place with easy access to the community and to surrounding hikes. Directly across from a pretty beach that is great for walking. Would definitely recommend 😊
