Philip has been a great host, and we had an incredible stay. Not only was the house absolutely stunning, but the location couldn’t be better. Despite the weather still being chilly - the house felt warm and inviting, my favourite was enjoying the sea views from the comfort of the house while sipping my morning coffee. It’s clear that a lot of care has gone into making this place feel like a home. We’ve travelled with two young kids and everything we needed was already there. The welcome treats were a big bonus! We’ve enjoyed a bottle of Prosecco with our friends on arrival. I hope we can return soon.

A stylish and convenient fuss-free solution when I needed a few nights stopover. The bathtub was huge and perfect for a good soak! Loved the proximity to Ventnor seafront and all the lovely local shops. Long stay carpark is literally the other side of the road and I always got a parking space.

Our second stay at the Salt Shack and it didn't disappoint. We've loved long dog walks on the beach, sea swimming and fossil hunting! This is the prefect place as one of our party has a disability. 😊

This was our second stay. Everything was as nice as we remembered from our first visit. The flat is spacious and well-appointed, the location is private and quiet, and the hosts are friendly and responsive. What more could you ask for in an AirBnB?

We are home after a Mon- Fri half term break at Admiral’s Watch, and we have had a wonderful time. Before we arrived we had clear directions from Nicky along with a really helpful list of recommendations for places to go with the kids. Getting to the property was easy and it was great to have a dedicated parking spot. The area is peaceful and completely beautiful. The small precinct of shops/ restaurants within the terrace was useful and didn’t intrude on our stay at all. The property itself is beautiful and just like the photos- the sea is right in front of the apartment making the views amazing. Nicky has styled the property beautifully and there was plenty of space for us as a family of four plus our dog. Activity wise I would recommend a trip to nearby Hurst Castle, and a meal at the Cliff House restaurant which was a short stroll away. Totally recommended, we had a great stay. Lovely house, great location in town close to beach and shops/restaurants. Our favourite bit was the deck at the back of the house with the view out to the sea! Kathryn was a model host- communicative, helpful. Would heartily recommend!

Had a lovely stay at the Lodge. It was very clean and comfortable. Commuication from the owner was excellent. It is in a very peaceful location and has 2 pubs within walking distance. It is also within a short driving distance of so many varied places to visit or walk. We went to Bosham, Wealdon Downland museum, Fishbourne Roman palace, and the nature reserve at Kingley Vale and will be back again to do more. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

Lovely accommodation, in a good location and with plenty of amenities. the hosts were helpful and even helped us book the ferry tickets. We would definitely stay again.

Very homely and very well stocked caravan. Nice and quiet when we stayed. Parking space at the side big enough for 2 cars. Samantha was very helpful and very responsive to messages. Activity passes included making this a very reasonably priced place to stay.

Stayed here for my 50th birthday for a girly weekend away. Beautiful little cottage with beautiful gardens surrounding the property. 5 star hosts. Very friendly and very informative. Obvious how much they love what they do. We had great fun in the games room. And the hot tub was a lovely treat and a well needed relaxation after we walked into Burley village and back. The food hamper was amazing with everything we needed or could want. Local supermarket not far away either. Lovely gift 🎁 from the hosts on arrival a bottle of wine and box of choccies. Yummy. Thank you very much. And finally getting to cuddle a 9 week old Bengal kitten who belonged to our hosts has to be the highlight of our weekend. He was beautiful and we nicknamed him Burley. Wish I could have taken him home. Highly recommend this beautiful little cottage and its amazing hosts. Thank you ladies I had an awesome 50th birthday 🎈 xxx

We had a 2 night stay during half term. The lodge was perfect t for what we needed. Easy to find, had all the necessary amenities and the hot tub was a great bonus!

Our family really enjoyed our stay. The added luxuries throughout the house were a great touch. From the snack basket, to the toiletries and the barbecue supplies. Everything was easy to use and welcoming. The uniqueness of having exclusive and nearby access to a pool and hot tub in a small property was perfect for our young family. We can put the kids to bed and enjoy the amenities together while making sure the kids are OK - something not possible in hotels and other resorts. The space was great. Clean, well-stocked and had everything you'd need for a summer retreat. The combination of the pool, dog, BBQ, pizza oven and included games meant our kids thoroughly enjoyed their time - us too. Definitely a winning combo. Thanks for having us!

Really loved our stay. The lodge was immaculate and exactly as described. Pet friendly especially the enclosed veranda wrapping round the lodge. Wendy was lovely, greeting us upon arrival to ensure all was well and answer any questions. Well equipped in all rooms and extremely comfortable with lots of storage. Charlotte and Tony were so friendly and helpful and the Cabin was perfect for our needs. It was lovely and quiet but within easy walking distance of Seaview village. The Cabin was very well equipped and we really appreciated all the extra touches and treats ! Our two little dogs also had a great time ! Thank you for a lovely holiday.

What a gem! We felt instantly at home the moment we arrived. The apartment was beautifully appointed, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spotless. We're so glad we chose to stay here and will absolutely return on our next visit to the island.

We were very happy for our 6 days at the Coach House. It is compact but has everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped. The place is very quiet and we loved the small holding tour! I would fully recommend!

We have just come home from our second stay at Wishing Well. As before, it’s spotlessly clean. An open airy lounge, diner and kitchen greet you on the first floor with lovely countryside views and on the ground floor you will find two beautiful en-suite bedrooms with very comfy beds. Brilliantly located with Appley beach just a five minute drive away. Isle of Wight distillery is just next door offering the delicious mermaid gin and a small but really good menu. Nicola and Penny are wonderful hosts and very proactive when answering messages nothing is too much trouble. We love returning here and are already booked in again for two weeks later in the year.

Fab property, has all the equipment and extras you need for a great holiday or weekend break. The home is just as described and the host was great with communication, would definitely recommend!

A Perfect Countryside Retreat on the Isle of Wight Our recent stay at Kern Cottage in the heart of the Isle of Wight's countryside was absolutely delightful, and we couldn't recommend it more highly. It offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The peace and quiet were exactly what we were looking for, and we enjoyed several walks right from the doorstep. The property itself was spotlessly clean. The cottage is well- appointed with a fully equipped kitchen including a small dishwasher and a washing machine. We particularly appreciated the cosy log-burner for chilly evenings and the thoughtful welcome hamper. It truly felt like a home away from home, with high-quality finishes and everything we could possibly need at our fingertips. A highlight was watching the red squirrels from the window and bottle feeding one of the orphan lambs. Thank you Georgina!

What a beautiful location for a break away. The barn is situated on 3 acres of gorgeous garden that leads out onto some great walks. The town is only a few minutes walk from the barn and both our dog Frosty and bunny Kayleigh loved the open space and peace. Frosty especially loved playing ball with Archie the dog :) Absolutely loved our time here and will definitely be back! Thanks so much Nick, Jo and Archie for making it such a wonderful break.

My Son, his girlfriend and myself stayed at Kirstys place and it was home from home. It is spotlessly clean, spacious and has everything you need for a relaxing break. Restaurants, shops are a brisk five minute walk away and in 10-15 mins you could reach the seafront. I have have visited the IOW many times over the years and this is somewhere I would highly recommend for cleanliness, convenience and value for money.
