We enjoyed our stay. The apartment is very compact and well situated. Reaching the beach takes about 10-15 minutes, but expect to climb a lot of stairs on your way back.

Gherly's place is surrounded by nature, it's simple but has everything you need, and it has a beautiful ocean view! From the balcony we could dine watching the sunset! It has a private beach with an umbrella and deckchairs and you can access it on foot or by car. The beach is truly beautiful! Gherly is charming, always willing and even offered us a late check-out that allowed us to have a quiet breakfast and leave without rushing, too bad we couldn't take advantage of it longer because we had to continue our trip. In my opinion, a car is necessary, but if you like to walk, the train station is not far away. I recommend it 100%! Thank you Gherly, we had an amazing time!

Vincenzo was super nice, picked us up from the train station and took us there on departure. He explained the area to us very well on the way to the apartment, so we quickly found our way around. The apartment is well equipped. We enjoyed our breakfast every morning on the balcony with sea view.

Great location in walking distance to the train and the sights. The apartment had what we needed. The washer was very useful especially on a beach vacation. This was the most beautiful city we visited. Our host was readily available to answer questions / assist us with issues. Note the city shuts the water off for residents at 5pm so it’s best to do laundry and shower before then. We did not have any issues with that but be aware- we still showered after (using tank water) we just made those quick showers. Great stay!

The apartment corresponds exactly to Alessandro's descriptions, it is in a quiet area just outside the city. There is no sidewalk for about 500 meters for those who want to walk but a 2-minute drive away there is a large free parking lot at the supermarket so you can leave your car and continue on foot to the historic center. Alessandro is always courteous and helpful. I hope to go back.

Altea’s apartment is perfectly located close to both the main strip in the historic centre and the beachfront. The apartment itself is very quaint and the design mirrors the beachside lifestyle. The walls absorb heat particularly well and the apartment is fixed with a strong air conditioner, so it would make for a great summer stay. Altea is a very friendly and responsive host who was very accommodating with check in. There is minimal reception in the apartment and the wifi can be a little patchy so do keep this in mind, but you should feel confident that you will have a proper Tropean experience at Altea’s lovely apartment!

This is an absolute gem of an air BnB. We stayed for a long weekend and the town is amazing. The flat is located in a small quaint square above a beautiful restaurant and it is literally in the middle of the town whilst being private. Tropea is a beautiful old town with delicious food, friendly locals and a stunning beach. Aurora and Guiseppe were very helpful and accommodating and we used google translate to bridge the language gap. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a quiet stunning beach holiday with amazing food. Thank you so much Aurora and Guiseppe!!

Maria was such an amazing host. She was always quick to answer any questions about and also gave us many recommendations for beaches and restaurants. The apartment was AMAZING! The back area has a beautiful view of the sea and sunset at night and the private stairs were very convenient t to get beaches. The location was great as it was in a quiet area, yet a short walk to the main area with restaurants and shops. I highly recommend this place!

A beautiful and peaceful place above Capo Vaticano with a breathtaking view. The hosts are kind and welcoming, and there’s a great restaurant right on site with delicious food. Surrounded by nature and farm animals, it’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Highly recommended!

Overall we had a nice stay in Torre Ruffa. There were 5 of us and the apartment was comfortable and spacious. The cleanliness was great and we were provided with sheets and bath towels. The only thing about it is that a large shower towel was missing. The highlight of the house is undoubtedly the terrace from where you can admire beautiful sunsets on the sea and Stromboli. The area is convenient to all the beautiful beaches of the Costa degli Dei, nearby there are restaurants and shops for shopping. You need to have the car to get around, but in a few minutes you can reach everything. The owners who live downstairs were very kind, friendly and helpful. Definitely a place I'd love to come back to.

Davide's apartment stood out for its fantastic views. You can see the volcanic islands, and experience beautiful sunsets from the terrace. However, you need a car on foot, the paths were missing, it only stayed along the street. Wild beautiful Calabria

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The apartment is so beautiful and peaceful, yet within super close walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our host was extremely helpful, so generous, and even coordinated arranging transportations and excursions for us! The apartment itself was perfect for our group of 6. We would definitely come back and stay here again. It was a beautiful trip.

We stayed in Helen's apartment for 10 days. Wonderful view! Spacious and livable apartment for 4 people. A well-maintained garden and enchanting pool. A place of great relaxation for our holidays.

Teresa accommodated our last minute request to stay. She was very responsive. She met us and showed us around. Gave excellent recommendations. Her place was very clean and fresh feeling. We would definitely return if we visit that part if Italy again. Perfect location between many great areas.

Ondine is an absolutely pleasant host. The communication before our Journey to Capo Vaticano was great. We‘ve got all the Information in advance. We are also very grateful for recommendations in the „House Book“, we could visit a lot of places of beautiful Calabria. We also want to thank the property Manager Jack (Giacomo), he met us at the Apartment and was always available for every question. We were very happy with the House (Family of 5). Villa Sirena has everything you need for enjoyable stay: comfortable beds (!), air conditions in every room, laundry. We also enjoyed a beatiful view from a spacious Terrace. To the sea is about 3 Minutes by car. The Beach (Groticelle) is one of the most beautiful places we‘ve been. We thank Ondine for our restful stay in Villa Sirena and can absolutely recommend the house . Natallia & Family.

Stayed for 2 nights with another couple. Super close to the city center with lots of shops and restaurants! Beautiful view of the sea, beaches and castle. And of course, this place is so Cool inside! Only thing I would say was I wish the keys were labeled so we could know which one was which for each of the 3 doors to get inside and outside. It was a bit loud from people down below on the street in the middle of the nights, so keep windows shut. But overall great stay! Would stay again.

The apartment is perfect, with an outdoor pool. Great for family vacations and not.

Very beautiful place, I would definitely go back, my wife and kids loved it. Everyone is super friendly. Tip: Stair master to prepare for the hike down the 200 plus steps to get to the beautiful beach and back up when you’re done (which we did and made a huge difference).

A wonderful place...we highly recommend it!

Very relaxing place, in a beautiful setting, with a great pool and restaurant. After a week of travelling around by train, it was good to have a base for a week of relaxation. The restaurant was great, with traditional food, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. We didn't bother trying anywhere else. There are some great viewpoints within easy walking distance, and the nearest station is walkable, as is the beach (but a steep climb back). Useful small supermarket a few minutes away.
