Bungalow vacation rentals in San Juan Islands

This was our second time staying at Hamma hamma hideaway. You feel right at home, and taken care of. It has a lived in feel like someone really cares about this place and like the owners also spend time there. The privacy can’t be beat. We took the kayaks out everyday and appreciated the extra life jackets and different sizes. They also have boots for borrowing and mud tromping and oyster gloves and shuckers. Can’t wait to return.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at the bungalow. Everything was arranged with such care, and immaculately clean. The environment was such a tranquil retreat environment and exactly what we needed. We look forward to coming back!

We had a great getaway at Jana’s little cottage! The house is very close to downtown and walkable to all the bars and restaurants. The house itself is perfect for a couple or small family. It has a great view of the marina and is a very peaceful and calm place to relax in. Jana was a great host and helped answer any questions we had! Would highly recommend.

Great place. Awesome views, literally right on the water. Great space for kids to hang out and sleep in sleeping loft with plenty of beds. Comfortable beds in each bedroom downstairs. Easy check in, easy parking, friendly staff on site. Spacious kitchen. Views from living area, sleeping loft, master bedroom are great. Heated floors in bathrooms were a nice surprise!

Perfect location, amazing view, and very quiet. The only sounds are the waves. What a relaxing start and end to each day. We were treated to whales passing by at dinner and a visit from what appeared to be a sea otter while sitting on the beach. All of this along with Lynn and Brad’s attention to detail and thoughtfulness made this the best Airbnb experience we’ve had. Thank you, we’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay as a family of five (2 adults and 3 kids) and felt completely comfortable throughout our visit. The home is perfectly located—just a short walk from the beach and tucked away in a quiet neighborhood right off the main walking street. Everything we needed was within easy reach: coffee shops, restaurants, and of course, the beach. The house itself was clean, cozy, and minimally stocked with the essentials. One of our favorite features was the charming coffee bar area—beautifully set up with a cute display and three full bags of fresh coffee to choose from. It was such a nice touch! Parking can be tricky on the street due to narrow spaces, so we were especially thankful for the carport and garage access in the back alley. We also loved relaxing on the front porch—it’s the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or soak up the afternoon sun. Overall, this place checked all the boxes. We’d absolutely stay here again next time we're in Alki!

I had an amazing stay at David's Airbnb! The place was sparkling clean, tastefully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. David was an exceptional host - responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome. I’ll definitely be back anytime I’m in the Bellingham area.

Cute rental in a nice quiet neighbourhood and close to a lot of activities. Had all the amenities we needed for a short stay. Would stay here, again.

Anthony’s place was just perfect! Very comfy and just what we needed. Convenient to UW, easy to get around. This was my second time staying in the neighborhood and it does not disappoint! Anthony provided accurate descriptions of the space and clear instructions for staying there. Everything was as expected or exceeded our expectations. I stayed in the downstairs bedroom and my college age daughter stayed in the loft. Note that the parking is for a small car. The driveway is steep and the car size comes into play when entering and exiting the narrow street. We had a Jetta for a rental and did fine. I would 100% recommend and would love to stay here again in the future!

This was a repeat stay @ this lovely, spacious, and cozy bungalow. Great amenities like soft fluffy towels, comfy bedding, handmade soaps and nice bath /shower gels, gives a feeling of a stay at a private resort. So quiet except for a pair of owls hooting in the tall trees around the home. We were given great recommendations for restaurants, and I especially appreciated the owners checking in with us to see if we needed anything. We loved our stay in the charming town of Langely on Whidbey Island, and highly recommend this airbnb as a fabulous stay.

Jackie and Rodney's were warm and welcoming hosts, and their place is a little piece of paradise... the view, the deck, the outdoor kitchen area (with hot tub) and even the beautifully kept grounds made for an incredible stay. Close to many spectacular natural places if you like to hike, and nice and quiet for when you want to lay back and relax. I highly recommend booking with them and hope to return again one day soon!

Bobby’s place was excellent. It was close to a lot of landmarks in the city. The stay is tucked in away in a cozy neighborhood that felt like you were at home. Bobby was responsive and answered all my questions within 24 hours. I highly recommend this stay for anyone visiting Seattle.

Nice little space for someone to rest their head at night in between days of exploring Seattle. Right the 49 and 70 bus lines (maybe more, I’m not sure), so getting around without a car is not a problem. A little further out from everything in Cap Hill, but never more than a 10-15 minute bus ride. Everything was exactly as described. Clean, comfortable, quiet. Bed was a little firm for me personally, but couldn’t stop me from getting a solid night of sleep.

I enjoyed my stay here! The house had everything I needed, it was clean, cozy, and I definitely felt right at home as soon as I stepped in the door. I worked nights during my entire stay and the master bedroom was pitch black during the day and the neighborhood was quiet when I needed to sleep!

Karin's home was the perfect cozy spot in the woods. We put some of my family here because we were hosting a family wedding at our home and didn't have enough space for everyone. It was such a lovely, peaceful space for our family to stay during this very fun weekend. Everything was clean and the space was so tranquil. We will definitely have family stay here again in the future :)
