Vacation rentals with breakfast in San Juan Islands

This cute little private basement apartment was perfect for our little city get away. The place was modern meets old Seattle craftsman- love. Also, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Tucked in a cute little residential neighborhood. Maple leaf park and Macrina Bakery is within walking distance. Lee also had this place stocked with teas, spices and nice cookware for eating in. (Trader Joe’s spices and teas to be exact!) We will be back!

Very convenient spot for exploring the eastern side of Olympic. Loved the porch with the lake views! An obviously loved family vacation home vs. an often seen sterile no-personality Airbnb. One note is the beds on the 2nd floor are up a tricky set of stairs (listing has a picture), so something to watch out for anyone with mobility issues.

This is a real gem. The host was very responsive, and the instructions were so clear. I could feel that the host put in extra efforts to make it feel home. The house is spacious, and has everything you would need. Location is also incredible, close to everything, and still peaceful. One of the best AirBnbs I have stayed so far!

We loved staying here. It had everything we needed along with lovely views from the bedrooms. The neighborhood is gorgeous with easy walking to local shops, pub and a big grocery store. The kitchen was well equipped and the whole place was very clean. It was a pleasure communicating with Stephanie and spending time at the house.

We stayed here for a week after moving to Seattle and Matt and Holly were great hosts! The space is cozy and has everything you need. We really appreciated having a full kitchen. There were quite a few spiders in the bathroom, so be mindful of that if you’re afraid. The only thing is recommend is getting a slightly longer shower curtain so that water doesn’t get into the floor. Other than that, we had a great stay! Hosts were responsive and helpful and we’d stay here again in the future.

Stopped in town with a couple friends to be closer to attend a wedding nearby. Was perfect for our party. Was a great little place to stay. Very clean, comfortable and quiet.

Had a great stay! Olympic National Park sites and Sequim are short drives away and could be in downtown PA within minutes. The home is cozy with great views. It has everything you need to cook a great meal and relax on the back patio. Would definitely stay again.

I had a nice time at Stephanie’s place, it was my first time in Seattle so I was quite nervous but it was great to have a peaceful hideaway where I could get quiet and rest whenever I needed it. It was a beautiful neighborhood. I loved the travel book collection in the sitting room and was so thrilled to have a bath tub as soon as I many airbnbs don’t have that when you have a basement stay. So that was great. Stephanie was really responsive too and helped me and even offered to get me ice cream when I wasn’t feeling well which was lovely of her.

Tim went above and beyond. We felt so comfortable and welcome. Wonderful host, I can’t say enough good things about the care and thoughtfulness that Tim put into everything!

Beautiful location with lovely gardens, comfy bed, and a kitchen with everything necessary for making breakfast. Cherie is a friendly host, and her dining and imbibing recommendations were all spot-on, too!

Janice’s place was amazing! The view was beautiful, we only wished it rained a little less so we could sit outside and enjoy it. Her home was incredibly clean and had all the amenities we needed. Kitchen had all of the necessary cooking supplies - pots, pants, plates, utensils, etc. she also left some homemade granola and cookies for us- so delicious, thank you, Janice! There were extra blankets and an easy-to-use heating system for each room. Fast hot water! Bainbridge has a dial-a-ride sort of bus system, and the closest spot they could pick us up was at the top of the hill- about a five minute uphill walk. Something to keep in mind if you plan to use public transportation. It’s about a 10 minute drive to town. Driveway was a tad narrow with other vehicles to navigate around, so if you plan to bring more than one car or have a larger vehicle it might be a good idea to give Janice a heads up. I have a Honda CRV and was able to park just fine with ample room. We would stay again!

What a beautiful and peaceful retreat! The backyard garden is absolutely breathtaking, and there is a beautiful view of the bay. The furniture, bed, pillows, and linens were all very comfortable. It was nice to have everything we needed in the kitchenette. We also, really liked the heated tile flooring! Everything was just as pictured and described, and it felt very clean. We had a very quiet, peaceful stay!

It’s a perfect place to stay if you want to be close to everything in the Seattle area without being in the city limits

A terrific AirBnB if you’re visiting the Seattle Downtown area. You’re a short walk/quick bus ride to Capitol Hill, and a slightly longer ride to Downtown. Patti went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our stay as enjoyable as possible! Checking in was stress-free and we had a wide range of amenities including laundry machines, iron/ironing board Keurig pods and toothpaste/shampoo! Patti also provided bagels, cream cheese, jam, and OJ for breakfast. Bonus points for having Carl Sagan’s Cosmos on DVD! Would recommended this AirBnB to anyone looking to check out the Seattle area for a reasonable price.

This is the perfect Airbnb. We loved the cottage and the surroundings. I honestly can’t think of anything that I would change that would make it any more perfect …. so close to town and yet so quiet and peaceful. Sparkling, clean and comfortable beds. The kitchen is so roomy and well stocked the food they left for our breakfast was delicious.

We had an amazing time at Doug's place! The unit was spa-like and well-appointed, and everything we needed was within our fingertips. The bathroom was stocked with soap and shampoo from Salt Spring Soapworks - what a nice touch! - and the kitchen had some amazing granola from down the street which had unfortunately sold out by the time we tried to get more :) Our kitties really enjoyed the beautiful yard and patio and we did too. The location was great - within walking distance of Vesuvius beach, and a 10min drive into town. Doug took the time to meet with us and provide suggestions and tips on what to see and do in the area, and even after we checked out he was around to provide tips on how to navigate the ferry home! We cannot recommend highly enough and hope to be back soon :)

Diane and Jim's place is such a lovely, clean, homey cabin in the woods with cozy decor and everything you could need! We cooked all of our meals in the airbnb and had all of the cookware and utensils we needed. The bed is really comfortable and so are the couches, which are perfect for curling up and reading. We loved the big window by the breakfast table which makes you feel like you're directly in nature. The place is easy to find and just a 5 minute drive from Ruckle park, which has a ton of great hiking trails and beaches to explore! Diane and Jim are really lovely and attentive hosts who helped us figure out logistics over the phone when we had trouble with the ferry over. This is a great place to stay :))

Walter & Joseph’s place was great! Beautiful property and very close to the main downtown area. Bellingham is just so beautiful. Breakfast every morning was a really nice bonus. Would highly recommend!

Lisa and Gary were great hosts and their property is beautiful, especially the yard and views of the harbour. The suite is small but well-equipped and very bright. The highlights for us were enjoying the views from the hot tub and meeting Calvin the dog. Highly recommend staying here!

The cabbage was the perfect stay for our first time on Salt Spring! It was conveniently located and easy to find while still being in a beautiful and private area with an amazing view! Michelle was so sweet and made the loveliest breakfasts each morning, including considerations for our toddler. The cabbage couldn’t have been more aesthetic, with lots of charming heritage details, cared for by people with a great eye. It was clean, cozy, and truly the ideal peaceful spot to begin and end each day we were there.

Pictures and words don’t do this place justice. One of the best experiences we have ever had. Getting to come here for our second anniversary was something we’ll never forget. Scott is one of the nicest, funniest, and creative people I have ever met. Scott, thank you for sharing your hidden gem.
