Apartment vacation rentals in San José

Place was very nice specially upstairs rooftop. The only thing I will the place needs at least drawers and more ground coffee and sugar. I ended up buying coffee and sugar. Also there a lot of construction noise right behind the building and they start too early at 6:30 am. So I was not able to sleep well. Other than that the area it’s quiet and the surrounding are beautiful.

Very nice loft style apartment with really big windows and a beautiful balcony overlooking the entire city with view of the mountains in the background as long as you look for the name of the building, you will be OK

Our stay at this condo was truly unforgettable! The space is just as beautiful as the listing shows—clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. The view from the condo was absolutely breathtaking; we found ourselves soaking it in every morning and evening. We loved the convenience of having several great restaurants just a short walk across the street, which made dining out easy and stress-free. The area felt very safe, and getting around was simple with easy access to transportation. What really made our experience stand out was the host. They were incredibly responsive, checked in to make sure we were comfortable, and gave us wonderful suggestions that helped us make the most of our time in Costa Rica. I highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area—and without a doubt, we would stay here again. 🇨🇷 PURA VIDA!

O apartamento é excelente - muito bem equipado, com tudo o que você precisa para uma estadia confortável. A vista da varanda é linda e torna o ambiente ainda mais especial. O prédio conta com comodidades incríveis, como academia bem equipada e uma piscina ótima para relaxar. Os anfitriões foram super atenciosos e sempre rápidos nas respostas, o que fez toda a diferença. A localização também é ótima, com restaurantes, mercados e parques bem próximos. Recomendo muito e com certeza voltaria!

Un lugar muy lindo, ambos hosts son super atentos, en nuestra estadía tuvimos un pequeño problema y nos respondían muy rápido cómo arreglarlo. El edificio tiene muchísimos lugares que nos respondían muy hay que dar por sentado, y también los al rededores, muchos restaurantes y lugares de entretenimiento muy cerca!

Booked this last minute and excellent communication. The place is newer and has great restaurants on the street level . Awesome pool and even better 21st floor to rooftop where you can spend the morning relaxing or wind down in the evening ! Check in was a breeze. The cooking facilty was awesome. Close to city but far enough to be away from the hustle n bustle

Jorge’s place in Rohrmoser was a great stay! The apartment is in a peaceful apartment building with great amenities like a pool, gym, cinema room, and steam room. The apartment was very clean, organized, and well equipped for our stay. Jorge was friendly and available any time we needed anything at all. The apartment is in a great location close to nice parks, lots of restaurants, cafes, and shopping centers. We also enjoyed being so close to the stadium and Parque La Sabana.

La semana que me hospede en el alojamiento de Adriana me sentí como en casa, un lugar bastante cómodo y con todo lo necesario para estar cómodos, sin duda volvería junto con mi familia.

What an awesome place to spend few nights. Lots of amenities, gym is great, pool looked inviting.. ease access. Lots of restaurants and cafes right on the premises. Covered parking. The apartment is new, super clean. I would stay here again in a heartbeat

Ubicación extraordinaria, el lugar hermoso, muy cómodo y seguro. Muy bien acondicionado, y los anfitriones son muy amables, atentos y siempre disponibles. De volver siempre.

the apartment is located in a great area of San José within walking distance of a lot of great local places, restaurants, cafes, parks, and museums. The view is very nice, especially at night. Big cars might have a little trouble with the parking lot getting onto level 2, but you just have to be mindful of your approach and space.

My stay at Moises place was very enjoyable. The apartment is very modern and clean. The balcony provides a great view over San Jose. As others have mentioned the noise of the train can be a little annoying if you’re not used to city noises, in particular there is a lot of train honking and not just the train passing by even so I didn’t need to use the earplugs provided.

I had a great stay at Dominique’s AirBnB in Barrio Otoya. I was in San Jose for a week to explore some of Costa Rica’s capital and to do some day trips to tourist spots outside the city. The AirBnB was in a great location both for visiting museums and the National Theatre in downtown San Jose as well as for checking out coffee shops and restaurants in nearby Barrio Escalante. Dominique was a responsive host for check in and check out and also offered good local recommendations for activities (I arrived the weekend of the Transitarte festival which was a fab rec!) and places to eat (Cafe Otoya is a must!). The AirBnB has two stages to entry so feels very safe and secure (plus security camera!) on a quieter street, but is close to a pick up point for guided tours (across from the La Linea Bar). Overall, I would happily return here if ever back in San Jose! A note for light sleepers/late risers: heed the note re. the trains, especially in the morning (didn’t bother me though!😁)

Jorge is a fabulous host that will do all he can to make your stay comfortable . Apartment has everything you need for your trip . I have been a guest many times previously and will continue to come here.

We had a great time in San Jose and felt at home in the apartment. It was the ideal location for us. We felt very comfortable and safe because it was a secured location with security guards. Having a designated parking spot made it easier to go back and forth without worrying about finding a parking spot. Additionally, the complex is located across from a supermarket so it was easy for us to walk and get groceries. It is located within walking distance to multiple restaurants so we didn’t need to drive for dining. The view overlooking the city from the balcony was amazing. Javier was a great host and I strongly recommend their Airbnb as a preferred place.

This place was the best on Airbnb in San Jose! I looked at a bunch and this is in the best neighborhood, has two bedrooms with quality linens, each with TV and its own bath, laundry, is impeccably clean, quiet, safe and has all new, modern appliances. Don’t waste your time looking anywhere else as this one is a true hidden gem.

This type of apartment is exactly what we consider ideal for long stays. The apartment is brand new, with all new items and plenty of comfort—from the bed and shower to the living room and kitchen. The condominium offers great amenities, such as a gym, swimming pool, game room, and an excellent coworking space with fast internet. The host was always very helpful, assisting us with everything we needed and answering all our questions. The location is also excellent: there is a supermarket very close by, several restaurants right across from the building, and a park just a few minutes’ walk away. The parking garage is great, and Uber arrives quickly, making it easy to get to the city center. In short, the apartment’s structure and everything it offers stand out. I hope all my future long stays on Airbnb are as good as this one.

This place is a great find - the neighborhood is full of great places to eat, walkable, and the apartment was very nice (the rooftop patio/hot tubs are a great addition). Carlos is a great host, very responsive, and he even let us store our luggage early when our flight got in earlier than expected.
