We had an unforgettable experience thanks to our incredible host Ruben. When our car broke down in the middle of the night, he didn’t hesitate—he came all the way out to pick us up and made sure we arrived safely at the property. That level of care and kindness is rare and deeply appreciated. The Airbnb itself felt just like home. After a long day of outdoor adventures, it was the perfect place for our family to relax and recharge. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. If you're looking for a host who genuinely cares and a stay that feels like a home away from home, this is the place. We’re so grateful and would absolutely stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay! The place was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Kathleen was a fantastic host: responsive and made everything easy from check-in to checkout, especially for some of the requests we made. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Becca’s place was easy to find and her instructions were very clear. Host was super responsive to every question we had, and even had a lot of local recommendations. My family hit up all 3 National Parks (Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon) in the span of a week. While we knew what we were signing up for, there was a lot of driving to and from each park and back to the house. That didn’t bother us since we planned our trip around that, but it’s something to consider if you’re looking to do the same. Very clean house and had all of the amenities we needed and more! Would definitely recommend Becca’s place!

Our family absolutely loved this home. The beds were comfy and gave us rest after busy days in the Bay. The host was responsive. Check-in instructions were easy. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. We would love to stay here again during future Bay visits.

We had a wonderful stay here, and we truly appreciated the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect for everything we needed, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities – a definite highlight. There was a few drops of water dripping in the hallway at the bottom of the stairs after after some heavy rain. Julia was informed and took immediate action to address. Overall, we had a great experience, and we would happily stay here again.

Neika’s place was absolutely incredible. It felt totally private and peaceful, with the beautiful babbling creek next door. Neika was kind enough to suggest some local walks, where we met some very lovely neighbors and saw the nearby nature. She was so communicative and helpful the entire journey. Her home itself is so unique, and the bath in particular just really cannot be beat. This was the perfect little getaway for us. Highly recommend.

We came into town with family for my daughters graduation at Fresno state. The home was about 15min from the school. The home worked out perfectly for our family that was staying with us. As soon as we walked in we were so happy with how clean, cute and comfortable the home was. We loved the modern aesthetics and country farmhouse feel. We loved the outdoor firepit the ambiance of the overhead lighting between home and barn. It also had an outdoor table tennis that the family enjoyed playing. The property was so sweet and charming inside and out. We wish we had more time to enjoy the home since we were busy away at graduation festivities. We will definitely be coming back to stay again!

Denise was a great host. She met with me at check-in and walked me through her home which was great. The room was comfortable and private. Sometimes parking is hard to find but the complex is well lit so I always felt safe, however, I did need a flashlight to unlock the doors to the unit and my room at night. Overall my week there was great and I highly recommend Denise as a host.

It was a wonderful experience! This was one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed in through Airbnb. The host prepared so many thoughtful amenities, and there were so many heartwarming touches throughout the trip. Especially, the homemade cookies were amazing ! so delicious and full of love! I truly appreciated the care and attention to detail. it made the stay even more special!

This was the a great place to stay for a short work trip. The unit is a first floor private studio apartment with its own private bathroom and kitchen in a small apartment building. There is controlled access to the overall building as well as a key to the room. It is convenient walking distance from everything on Castro as well as the Caltrain station. As others mention, the main drawback was the noise, but I actually found it easier to sleep that way. The kitchen is stocked with some basic food items and breakfast like bagels, yogurt, fruit, coffee pods. It is an older building and unit that I thought had character. Very clean and comfortable.

Fantastic hosts, great place. It was a bit like staying at your friend's Grandma's place, and I mean it in the best sense possible. Like where else are you going to be greeted with freshly made homemade treats, and that's in addition to coffee, tea, bananas, milk, juice and bottled water in the fridge! Vintage furniture and decor, yet everything was well maintained, functional and very clean. The bed was modern though and very comfortable. The place is very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by oak trees and tons of wildlife. Would definitely book again!

We had such a wonderful stay! The room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our trip. In addition, after long hikes in Yosemite, the hot tub was the perfect way to relax and unwind. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the hospitality. The host and her husband were incredibly kind and welcoming—they truly made us feel more like friends than guests. They also provided helpful recommendations for exploring Yosemite and the surrounding area. The location was great—close enough to the park for easy access while still being peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a warm, friendly place near Yosemite!

It was a lovely experience and everything was perfect! Breakfast was great; fresh fruit and eggs, and it was so nice to sit outside and eat. And fun to chat with Madelyn. What a gem!

I needed a place late in the day and Rebecca gave me a quick confirmation. This was really appreciated. She was there to greet me and was very friendly. She got me some tea, showed me the house and the room, and since I was leaving early in the morning, went through what she had to offer for breakfast and packaged up some treats for me. Hard to find a better priced place with this level of modernity and space. As others have mentioned it's a windy drive from highway 17, about 35 minutes from Santa Cruz, 20 minutes from Los Gatos (really cool town), and 30 minutes from San Jose. Of course, the semi-remote location is part of the appeal - redwood trees all around the yard, visible from inside the house, and all around beautiful steep terrain. The attached home is great - super comfortable couch in the living room, great bed in the bedroom, kitchenette and spacious bathroom.
