House vacation rentals in San Gregorio di Catania

We were in transit and for us this was a wonderful "Tiny house" in a nice and quiet area. What was really wonderful was the swimming pool that we used immediately after a wonderful tour of Sicily. And what a welcoming reception. The host was waiting for us and in the house something delicious was waiting for us. The host even wanted to help us bring the suitcases to the house. The host responds quickly to questions and is always willing to help and advise you. So for us a TOP experience.

Beautiful accommodation in the middle of a cultivated, lush green property with fantastic views towards the east coast. Everything was as expected based on the pictures and description, rather a little prettier. Cleanliness great, tranquility and panorama fantastic. The reception is super warm, recommendations for excursions very good. The location is of course a bit off the beaten track, but absolutely OK to reach by car through narrow alleys. You just don't find something like this right in the village. Overall, an absolute recommendation!

Gorgeous house, excellent location, and such gracious hosts! Daniele and his parents were both lovely. The space is clean and has everything we needed. The pool is the perfect afternoon relaxing spot. It’s well kept and very clean, which we can only imagine a huge feat considering the volcanic ashes! We also went up Mt Etna with Daniele. He’s a great guide as well! Overall 10/10 recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the appartement. We really enjoyed the beautiful balcony and the nature all around. We even got nice fresh fruits out of the garden!

We had a lovely stay at Michele’s place. The accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable with everything we needed. The large outdoor space made our holiday really special. Michele keeps the garden beautifully neat and tidy, and the surrounding area is very peaceful, so it was a pleasure to spend time outside. We had lots of fun in the swimming pool, although it was a bit on the cool side when we were there at the end of May. The little terrace area was a real sun trap, so ideal for sun bathing and warming up after a dip. The lawn is shaded by beautiful mature trees, which must be lovely in the hotter months. The property is close to Etna National Park and as well as doing a guided trip up Etna, we had some lovely hikes in the foothills and lower slopes of the mountain. (I downloaded the AllTrails app to find local walks). Michele was a very considerate host and always ready to help with anything we needed. All in all, it is one of the best properties we have stayed in.

We had a great vacation in Borgo Papardo. We enjoyed the view of Mount Etna which gave us two magnificent eruptions, the smell of lemon trees in bloom and the children spent a lot of time at the pool despite its coolness. Placido is very available for any info.

A perfect stay – above and beyond expectations! The apartment was spotless, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed. But what truly made the experience special was the amazing host – thoughtful, generous, and always available to help. We were especially touched by the warm gesture of fresh, local croissants delivered in the morning – such a lovely surprise! Highly recommended, and we’d love to come back again. Salvatore is a great host. He greeted us at the parking lot. Then he accompanied us to the apartment and explained how it worked. He provided us with beach towels at our request as well as wooden spoons for cooking. Salvatore is very welcoming and responded quickly to our questions. It's a great Airbnb, and from Acireale you can visit the whole region. The apartment's terrace is nice. The area is very peaceful. Parking is a plus. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

Very pleasant welcome and stay offered by Emanuele and her small family. Huge, clean and very comfortable apartment. The only detail is that the street of the house is really stuck to another. Be careful, is the one that climbs up very steeply. Other than that, I recommend going to Emanuele's without so much as a second thought.

We stayed there for a week, visiting all the nice nearby places, after which we could enjoy a nice afternoon of rest at this place. A great place to chill, enjoy the beautiful scenery and garden. The house itself was very beautiful, clean, had everything needed, and on top of that the host was very helpful and responsive. Thank you for the great time!

Exquisite property—indoors and outdoors. The antique decor and space is beyond description. We felt part of an immaculate and charming walk into the past. The cohosts were friendly and helpful. We spent two nights in Susanna's beautiful villa. The garden was especially lovely, we wish we could have stayed longer. Susanna was very helpful and welcoming. The property is well placed for Etna which was our main reason for staying. Highly recommended.

This little apartment in Acireale is wonderful! Very clean, with attention to every detail and equipped with everything you need for a super comfortable stay. The location is very convenient and super central, perfect for exploring the area. A special thank you to Marisa, who was very kind and helpful from the start: we immediately felt welcome! Great place in an excellent neighborhood. Plenty to do, lots of delicious restaurants within walking distance, and close to the train station. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. Marielen is a fantastic host and very hospitable.

This was such a lovely and relaxing place. The outside space with the patios was amazing. There’s plenty of space indoors with a well equipped kitchen and I loved that the bedrooms are downstairs so you don’t have to bring the luggage upstairs. It was an easy drive to visit Taormina and Sergio was nothing but helpful with tips of where to park and places to eat. We would definitely return!

We had a nice time at Marco's apartment! It is in a nice street with restaurants, which you can also look down on from the balcony. The apartment was clean! There was an air conditioner, which made it nice and cool in the room. The only downside for us was that we didn't know the building didn't have an elevator. Because of this, we had to go up the stairs to the 5th floor with our suitcases… Furthermore, the apartment itself was perfect and we had a very good time!

Incredible views. Incredible little village 5 minutes walk away, mountain and sea views. Completely magnificent, didn't get enough. Car a must but easy to find everywhere, recommend sunkisses beach club where it was easy to park the car. The village just above had everything you can wish for, sparse with restaurants but was good enough. There was also a small shop, with an emphasis on small. The host was very accommodating and easy to deal with. Very quiet and restful accommodation, which the soul felt good from. We were one day in Taormina but longed back to the tranquility of Forza di Agro.

I had a very happy time here, the Host is really a very friendly and sincere person, and has a very cute puppy.The home is beautifully decorated, the garden is well maintained, the Host must be a person who loves life!We knew that we would leave early in the morning and would be sent off, and that we would be helped when we needed it. Maybe we'll see each other again in the future. We left in such a hurry today that we forgot to leave a message in the guestbook. I hope the host has a happy day.

I would go back to Catania just to stay in this place! It was the nice mix of historic building and stylishly renovated with glass you see in a lot of Italian places. Bathroom is beautiful. Bedroom is beautiful. Only thing to note: because of the windows, the downstairs doesn’t get a lot of natural light (upstairs fine). Not sure that matters to anyone, but just be aware. Not obvious from the pics. Refrigerator is also half size in case anyone is wondering. Great walkable location to all kinds of places. I had come here for a conference where people we’re staying at a hotel up the coast (and then it became fully booked and I got this airbnb with an intent to commute), but turned out our venues were all within a 7-13 minute walk of our Airbnb. Host has great food recommendations! Best cannoli and arancini indeed.
