Townhome vacation rentals in San Francisco Bay Area

This neighborhood is safe and peaceful. We have stayed at The Dunes numerous times over the last 4 years. Lisa’s home is beautiful and inviting. We all felt very comfortable and relaxed. It is such a gorgeous area and the staff at the front gate is always so helpful too. I had to reach out to Lisa multiple times throughout our stay and each time her responses were quick and respectful. It was a delight to chat with her and we are definitely planning to come back and would rent this home again.

Bree was a wonderful host! Her place is fantastic and all the details make you feel right at home. From the fresh flowers to the children’s bubble bath! Her book collection is also superb. The location unbeatable! We loved it all!!

My wife and I stayed with our toddler and my mom. It was plenty of room plus the king size bed was big enough for two adults and one kid. We loved the place and Mary Ann was very accommodating.

We had an excellent stay at Kate & JP’s house. We stayed for 1 month as we transitioned from NY to Alameda. They made sure we had everything that we needed and the house was perfect. Fantastic hosts.

Laura’s place was spot on for our short stay. Beach was a stones throw away, which is where the kids wanted to spend their time. The place was perfect, it was clean, spacious, and well equipped. Detailed instructions for the apartment to go alongside the stay and useful local information.

The place is clean, comfortable and quiet. We really like the local guide Linda left. The morning hike to the Rabbit Hill Preserve is wonderful. The WIFI didn't work for us for the first night, Linda was actively working to help us finding a solution. Overal, great value.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful townhouse, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. my stay was exactly what I needed as I was visiting 1 night for a concert at levis stadium. Alice place was located conveniently close to restaurants and transportation hubs. home was lovely and quiet kind of like staying at your friend's parents house.

Sara’s place truly felt like a home away from home! We were incredibly comfortable throughout our stay and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy—and fun—to cook a few meals. The neighborhood is great for walking, with plenty of cafes and restaurants just a short stroll away. Sara herself is a gracious host—warm, responsive, and a joy to communicate with. We’d absolutely love to come back!

Super convenient location for my husband to attend is conference and Whole Foods was a block away. Very thoughtful amenities like fans, tea, coffee, extra blankets, shampoo/conditioner. Would happily stay again.

Anne's loft was a great home base for my very busy weekend in the Bay Area. My second-floor room and all the common areas were comfortable, stylish, and beautifully clean. Anne is a star host who is very responsive and easy to talk to. The loft is in a nice quiet neighborhood with a Little Free Library right out front. It's within walking distance of Cafe Buenos Aires and a park where I heard and saw four different songbird species. I would definitely stay here again. :)

Enjoyed our stay greatly. The flat is well situated for access to Berkeley University (long walk or short bus), the BART system and access to SF. Good location for accessing restaurants, bars and shops in Rockridge area. Quiet neighborhood but near everything. Easy road/car access to the entire Bay Area. Flat itself is modern and spacious. Second bedroom is on the small side, but fine. Both bathrooms were good sized and worked well. Furnishings were high end. Lots of character. Good sized kitchen. Lots of towels, washer/dryer etc. Well stocked! Everything you need to explore the Bay Area. Great view of SF skyline from the upstairs deck. If traveling to the East Bay again, would absolutely stay again.

We stayed here for a few days in June. So it was a little chilly and windy. The place was so private and peaceful though we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Walking on the beach, collecting shells when the sun was up and meeting some of the wonderful neighbors there. One of the first things I notice when I am out, is the cleanliness. This place was so clean, it almost felt like home. From the bedroom to the bathroom to the kitchen and living room. All the little things that were there to make our stay memorable. I also loved the communication with the host. Prior to our arrival and throughout to make sure we had everything we needed. She was quick to respond to what we needed. We will definitely consider staying there if we take another trip up that way.

We spent 4 weeks to explore Fairfax and other areas of Marin County. We enjoyed the area as it was very walkable to a nearby park or to downtown Fairfax. There are many good restaurants and shopping areas close by. The home is in a lovely wooded, hilly area and was very peaceful. It has nice outdoor space and is nicely furnished, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed for a long term stay. Our hosts were extremely friendly and responsive to any questions we had. Overall, a very good experience and stay!

Our stay at Parham's place was enjoyable. It was clean and well equipped and perfect for our short stay with four adults. While the location is ideally located near all that Palo Alto/Menlo Park has to offer, it is located at an intersection of what can be a busy road (Willow Road and Gilbert). So, if you are a light sleeper, it is probably best to have the bedroom AC/Heater unit on, even if just for air circulation, for some white noise. Access to the garage via the Willow Road remote-controlled gate is a little tricky, but overnight street parking on the Gilbert Road side is not allowed, as we learned from a Menlo Park police warning on our car one morning.

Great stay near downtown Sacramento. This is a beautiful property with a rooftop area to relax. Close to many attractions and great restaurants. The neighborhood is walkable and bikes are provided. I highly recommend this property if you are in the area.

The kitchen was very well equipped. Plenty of clean towels were in a cupboard. The washer, dryer, stove, fridge, microwave were all of good quality. A lovely home away from home.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Stephanie’s place. The view is spectacular, absolutely loved the deck area. It’s peaceful and beautiful, with all the amenities you need. The house was perfect for our family stay and had everything we needed. Was a comfortable stay for us. Stephanie was kind enough to check in to see how we were doing and was always responsive and accommodating. Grateful for the priceless memories we were able to make there as a family. Thanks for much for everything!

Nicole and Jonathan's place is a gem, clean, cozy, and comfortable. Modern amenities, full kitchen, bath, work space, and cozy bed and sitting area. Close to shops and restaurants in North Berkeley. The hosts were great with communication of all details. I would be happy to stay in their home anytime.
