Pet-friendly vacation rentals in San Carlos

This space is an appartment, not a house. There are other tenants in the building. It was perfect for what we needed. There is a great view of the bay. The parking is difficult if you have a vehicle, but i imagine this is the case wherever you are in the city. The hosts are lovely and incredibly helpful. The location of the apartment seemed safe and we didn't have any issues.

Bring your own lawn chairs. House was spacious and beds were comfortable. Great place for a large family visiting for a wedding or graduation. Main complaint that there is not enough chairs/couches inside and out. Would recommend another couch inside. Also big back yard is advertised but there are no chairs for sitting and enjoying outside area. They are very concerned about noise which is probably why they don’t provide seating which is too bad and quite a waste. Even four chairs would be an improvement as we were forced to take kitchen chairs out during the day. Well worth the money and responsive host. We enjoyed our time here.

Jason’s home was very comfortable, clean and quiet. He was also very responsive. We really enjoyed our stay.

Joey was accommodating to our team, a wonderful location that was close to the airport as well as our work location! The place was spotless and lovely for our short stay! We would not mind coming back for a future stay!

Our family absolutely loved this home. The beds were comfy and gave us rest after busy days in the Bay. The host was responsive. Check-in instructions were easy. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. We would love to stay here again during future Bay visits.

We loved our stay! The house gets great light and has a very nice view of the lamas right across the street and of the sunset in the evenings. The neighborhood is quiet and the yard was perfect for our dogs. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed at a quaint Airbnb that offered a unique combination of vintage charm and contemporary amenities. From the moment I arrived, I was taken by its characterful architecture, reminiscent of a bygone era. The exterior spoke volumes with its classic brick façade and delightful front porch adorned with cozy patio furniture. Upon stepping inside, I was welcomed into a homey living space that beautifully maintained its historical essence while incorporating all the comforts of modern living. The original hardwood floors and exposed wooden beams whispered tales of the past, creating an inviting warmth that modern builds often lack. The kitchen was a modern with stainless steel appliances yet there was a sense of nostalgia with the charming farmhouse ambiance. There were 6 beautiful patios and tall trees surrounding the house providing lots of spaces to enjoy the outdoors. We give it 5 stars ⭐️ plus accommodation.

We had an amazing stay at Casita Casita, the kids had so much fun in the pool and the kitchen was beautiful. On the last day, my six year old didn’t want to leave, she said she wished we could live there forever. It was super clean and when I did have a question, Courtney replied almost immediately. She was super great to work with, she sent us the house guide before our arrival and it included food recommendations. There was also a book printed guide which we actually referenced a lot! So that was helpful. The location is EXTREMELY walkable, we had fun walking to local shops and restaurants and the local park and bocci ball court.

We booked this place for a family staycation to spend a long weekend doing nothing but relaxing. This place exactly fit the bill. The hot tub was amazing, the pool was lovely and clean. Our little daughter thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The place was clean and well appointed with amenities. Best of all, when we realized we might end up arriving earlier then check in time, Alex promptly set us up to arrive a while hour and a half before time!

Me and my girlfriend needed a little getaway and this was perfect. There was a small ant problem and Maria had someone there to take care of it within an hour. Would highly recommend.

Mara is an exceptional host. Responded quickly to our messages. The property is beautiful with amazing views. We loved staying here. The only issue is the road up to the property- it is very winding and narrow. However once we got used to it, it is manageable.

I can’t say enough great things about my stay (over a month long) at Lola’s place! It was absolutely beautiful, tranquil and had a huge yard for my two dog to run around and explore. Lola was always very responsive and friendly. Great escape from the city life but only moments away from Redwood City and Menlo Park. Will absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Don’t miss this rare gem!

It has been a lovely and very comfortable stay - very spacious living room and bedrooms, in-unit washing and drying machine, and great location - close to Safeway, Trader Joes and the Caltrain station. Would definitely come back.

Melodie truly goes above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. She thought of things like Contact Lens Solution! This was the first time i’ve ever seen that in a care kit. I also can’t speak more to kindness as when she allowed me to stay an extra hour because I was having a hard time parting ways with this new found peace and comfort. Then I added a second hour and simply felt like extended family at that point. The heated saltwater pool under the blue sky surrounded by chirping birds and nature was extremely soothing to my spirit. I shall return.

We stayed here for a family vacation, while visiting the Bay Area. The pool and spa area were lovely during the heat 90 degree South Bay summer days. The house needs some updates to better justify the price. But other than that, it is a nice property. The host, Allison, really earned a five star review with her excellent communication and focus on customer service. When we encountered issues she was quick to respond and remedy the situation. I would book another AirBnb hosted by Allison anytime.

We loved our stay at Dave and Jenny’s! We were visiting for a memorial service so were sharing space with family. The home was filled with just the right amenities and was a very comfortable and beautiful place to stay. Oh! And the back garden is amazing!

Souhi’s place is great - very clean, modern, and had all the basic necessities. Sitting out on the deck with the fire pit on cooler nights was lovely.

Great spot in Redwood City in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Very close to everything. The house was nicely decorated and plenty of space. The kitchen was nicely stocked. Would stay again.

Our stay at Petra's house was truly delightful. She was a gracious and responsive host, and her clean, cozy home, nestled in a beautiful San Carlos neighborhood, provided everything we could have wished for.

Nice place in Belmont , a hilly quiet suburb on the SF Peninsula. Place is as described. Could do with a bit more of a personal touch in terms of decor but otherwise flawless. Some reviewers faulted the Driveway - it’s only a problem if you have a sports car with reduced ground clearance.

The second time staying in this cozy and peaceful place, this time for our extended family visiting Belmont. My 4 year old nephew and his family really enjoyed the stay. Not only the inside (which stayed cool even though it was early summer), but also the sunny backyard was really great. Lacey was responsive for any questions they had. Thank you for hosting us again!

We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend this spot to anyone--with one important mountain weather caveat. We are not from the area and discovered that the weather on the mountain was remarkably cold and dreary. Despite it being sunny and pleasant at lower elevations (only 5 minutes' drive away), our outdoor space was constantly wet, foggy, and windy. Nearby hikes are gorgeous, lined with towering redwoods, but also cold, wet, and muddy. Had I known this, I would have packed heavier clothes, mud boots, etc. This factor greatly limited our ability to enjoy being outside beyond soaking in the hot tub...but the hot tub was still amazing!!! It was an interesting and unique experience but come prepared with proper gear and expectations!

Ralph's place was perfect for my dog and me while visiting family in the area. The guest house is as pictured and advertised. The house is painted blue now, not brown as in the photos. It is a very casual space, clearly used by fellow dog lovers, above a garage and carport. The back yard is fenced and shared with the main house. There is an outdoor table and chairs, and I enjoyed my morning coffee among the flowers and trees. I did not encounter the occupants of the main house, so I didn't get the chance to say hello. I liked that someone was there, though. The whole setup made me feel very safe, and I slept well. The home is well stocked. The kitchen had plenty of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils, a small four-cup coffee pot, basic spices and oils, and a variety of other supplies likely left behind from other guests. I found all the toiletries I would expect and plenty of towels in the bathroom. There is a tiny, remarkably powerful hair dryer, too. I would stay again!
