Vacation rentals with a patio in Salt Rock

This was one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at in Durban! The home is absolutely beautiful, stylish, spacious, and impeccably clean, with breathtaking views that made the stay even more special. You can really tell that care and attention to detail went into creating a welcoming space. A couple of small suggestions for improvement: the couch could use a deep clean or reupholstering, as it had a bit of a worn look and lacked that fresh, clean scent. The cushion inners were also quite flat, so replacing them would really bring the lounge area back to life. I stayed in the bedroom facing the passageway, and I’d recommend adding block-out curtains or blinds , the hallway light filters into the room at night, which made it difficult to sleep. That said, everything else was outstanding, and I’d absolutely stay here again. With just a few tweaks, this place would be perfection!

Great stay. Beautiful property, staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient. Our host was welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed our time here and would stay again.

Wonderful stay, great views and the place was absolutely super clean! This is the cleanest Airbnb we ever stayed at. Only confusion was around finding the visitor parking which is around the corner, not obvious to find in the dark and no disability parking available.

It's a wonderful place! The apartment is very spacious, bigger than it looked in the photos. Everything is very clean and brand new. There is everything you need for a comfortable stay. The territory is close and you feel safe in the apartment. The beach is very close, literally 5 minutes on foot. But the veranda won our hearts, the whole family spent most of our time there playing games and talking! The ocean view is mesmerizing. Many thanks to the hosts! Candice was in touch all the time, helped with all the questions very quickly. Special thanks for the opportunity for flexible check-in and check-out! We had the pleasure of staying at Tennille’s Airbnb and it was incredible. Heather (host)is an absolute gem,so caring, accommodating, and easy to communicate with. The apartment was well-equipped and perfect for our nearly 3-week stay. The washing machine and dishwasher were especially useful. The master bedroom and bathroom were just the right size. One note: the garage is a very tight fit for medium to larger vehicles. My BMW X1 just made it, and I found reversing in worked better than driving straight in. The aircon came in handy on warmer days. But the highlight? The view and patio...OMG! We spent almost 80% of our time out there. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. Heather truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Highly recommended! We'll be back for sure!

We had an amazing 3 days staying here in Ballito. Lovely sea view from the veranda, great beaches and restaurants nearby, and super relaxing. The apartment is so fabulous you won't want to leave!

The apartment was beautiful with a stunning view of the ocean. Everything was clean and posh. Furniture and fittings were modern. The patio was spacious with plenty of entertaining and relaxing space. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time at Bronwyn's place. Sitting on the deck, whether it was staring at a thunderstorm over the ocean or having a big family meal was a real treat. The house had lots of private spaces and was easy to move around in.

Great open plan & spacious home! The master bedroom particularly stands out! The estate is great with a variety of places to eat and explore. Appreciated the facilities as we had a toddler so this made life a lot easier.

Loved the apartment, really comfortable and the location was wonderful, so close to the boardwalk and ocean and near the little town of Ballitoville. Really great place!

Rene was a suburb host, checked in to make sure we got there save and if we needed anything. Her home is beautifully decorated and clean, we felt right at home. It is walking distance to the beach. We had a fantastic time, if you dont want a beach day, the inviting pool is a great pleace to relax.

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful place in Ballito. The house was super comfortable and in a perfect location, close to shops and beaches. The hosts, Calvin and Rochelle, are generally the kindest and most genuine people you will probably ever meet. This was a 10/10 experience and I reccomend this place to anyone looking for the perfect stay in Ballito.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at La Mer No4. The unit is clean,spacious and so stunning with all the modern finishes and homely touches. Thandi was so warm and welcoming and kept the place so neat and tidy. I highly recommend for families and couples who are looking to enjoy the beauty of Ballito and surroundings in a home away from home. We had a wonderful stay at this property! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our visit, which made the experience smooth and stress-free. The apartment was spotless and very well maintained — we really appreciated the attention to cleanliness. Paola's nest was incredible! We did a last minute booking and she instantly confirmed. When we got there we felt like we didn't want to leave as it was only for a night. The space was clean, quiet, with a beautiful view and close to the restaurants, beach walks and nature reserve. Loved the bathtub!

I had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment while in KZN for the Comrades Marathon. The space was immaculate, stylish, and had everything I could possibly need. What truly made this experience stand out was Janine, the host. From the moment I booked, her communication was exceptional—warm, funny, and refreshingly down-to-earth. She checked in every day with genuine care and good humour, making sure I had everything I needed and even sharing great local tips. Her friendly, light-hearted personality made me feel so welcome — it was like connecting with an old friend! The apartment itself had so many thoughtful touches: a well-stocked kitchen with a variety of spices, cooking oil, plenty of washing liquid, and all those little extras that are so often overlooked. I didn’t have to worry about a thing—it truly felt like a home away from home. I will absolutely be staying here again!
