In the neighborhood, there is Asuka, which retains the appearance of ancient Japan, and is dotted with many ruins. Imai-cho, where the old streets from the Edo period still exist, is also a highlight. Kashinoki-an is a pure Japanese-style house built over 60 years ago, and you can also enjoy the garden. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated for a pleasant stay. The interior is decorated with joinery and stairs relocated from a 100-year-old private house, and a single board of Yoshino cedar. The interior is finished with traditional Japanese tatami mats, floor-to-ceiling and decorative pillars, and numerous props, making it an accommodation where you can feel Japanese tradition everywhere.
