There are lovely restaurants, cafes, a Coop, Spa and Tesco’s express, not to mention the ice cream parlour! There is a skate park, childrens’ playground, boating lake and a lido all within 10 mins

I had a lovely stay here with my son and dog. We came to clacton to visit family and it was ideally positioned for this. The local rugby field is just behind the house, which was ideal for walking the dog. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect getaway to unwind and recharge.

We stayed at Jeremiah’s holiday home for 2 nights to have a last minute end of adventure by the sea. It was perfect for what we needed. Being half term the activity passes you need to buy to access pool were quite expensive at £16.95 each for 3 days, but my son loved it. Jeremiah’s instructions were clear and he was very responsive and friendly. The Parkdean staff are also very helpful and the general park is well kept. The caravan was spotless, very cosy and peaceful. The perfect end to the half term.

We had a lovely family break in Clacton-on-Sea and couldn’t have been happier with our stay at the lodge. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome from the owner, who provided lots of helpful information about the area. The lodge itself was perfect for the three of us — it had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, with the added bonus of a lovely deck to enjoy the sunshine. The location was ideal, just a short drive from the pier and the beautiful beaches of Clacton. We highly recommend this lodge and would definitely stay again!

My son and I and our three dogs absolutely loved Deer Lodge, a clean and cosy living space. Sue was there to meet us on arrival, and explained everything clearly - a super host. The grounds were perfect for our dogs and the short walk to the estuary really lovely. Colchester is within easy reach which was perfect for meeting up with friends. Already looking to book again for September. Thankyou so much Sue it was exactly what we needed.

Zoe’s place is absolutely stunning! Beautifully furnished, immaculately clean and the garden is a slice of paradise where we enjoyed having breakfast and an evening glass of wine. The location is brilliant and a 10 min walk to the local beach and a very short drive to Clacton and the outlet shopping centre. The house has been very well looked after and the quality of bedding and toiletries provided were outstanding! We had a wonderful break and would most definitely book to come back! Harrison was the most welcoming host and accommodating. Great communication, the place was clean, cosy and had everything you needed and looked exactly as it looks and described.
