Vacation rentals with lake access in Saint Osyth

Enjoyable stay for me and two work colleagues, Dean was able to communicate with us on arrival and we felt right at home. Rooms are a great size and the scenic view from the windows was a great way to wake up. Will definitely stay again when working in the area.

Lovely cottage, as described. Very quiet and peaceful. Hot tub a bonus and had been lit prior to our arrival to heat up. Great location for exploring Suffolk.

Absolutely amazing. Beautiful inside and the grounds were even better. I booked this for my mum 60th birthday and we all had an incredible time. All rooms were beautiful with a lovely kitchen too, even better the welcome pack they leave you. The wrap around veranda was the highlight for us, we spent most of the days on that with the hot tub, we were lucky enough to have good weather so we could really make the most of it. The fishing lake was lovely my partner fished and enjoyed it. The owner was always happy to answer any questions whenever I needed them. Thankyou so much.

Stephen’s apartment was exactly what we were after for our short trip to Suffolk. Needham Market is a great location and has good train links to Ipswich. The apartment is a good size and would be very comfortable for four. It was spotlessly clean with a good kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would look to return if visiting the area.

This home and host is a little hidden gem of west mersea. The house is impeccably clean and cosy and honestly felt like home from home I slept well all 3 nights which is rare for me when away from home. The home has just about everything you could think of in it making life so much easier all round. Everything went smoothly thanks to Jayne who was very accommodating and helpful from the moment of booking until leaving. Would definitely want to stay again in the future. Thank you Jayne.

Theo’s place is located in a very convenient area where we can easily access to supermarkets, restaurants and the Colchester Town station. Check-in was smooth and instructions were clear. Theo was also very responsive to our questions. Spacious living room, dining room and bedroom and well equipped kitchen. Only downside is sometimes the neighbours are a bit noisy at weekend nights. Overall we had a very happy stay, thank you Theo for hosting us :)

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Apartment. Sarah was incredibly welcoming, kind, and made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had such a cozy atmosphere. It felt like a home away from home! First time visiting Colchester and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay! Home from home and the location was absolutely perfect, literally right next to the castle park and less than a 5 minute walk to the castle and high street. Peaceful and super clean. Reilly was the perfect host. Friendly, responsive and helpful. Kitchen had everything we needed to dine in. Bed was comfy and linen was clean. The bathroom was also spotless! Thank you for having us and we will definitely be returning. 5 star 🌟 stay x

peace and nature. The luxury of a beautiful swim spot Charlotte, James and their pets were friendly and responsive but not intrusive So much nature and walks direct from the door. A stylish compact but comfortable studio. A big bathroom with a great shower. A tiny observation...a couple of bigger mugs would have enhanced the morning cuppa made with the lovely soft borehoke/well water

We hired the cart lodge for our wedding locally and we really enjoyed the space, it was perfect. Angela was very accommodating. The location is very pretty and peaceful. we would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed the 3 adjoined cottages as it gave extra space and privacy too. The games room is inspired - a refuge for older children or adults with table tennis, table football, a radio and outdoor games but an independent goal for our toddlers too with gocarts and balls. Walking routes from the door meant no travelling by car for us so we'll have to visit again to see some of the many sights we've yet to visit! There are quite a lot of stairs between all the cottages which the children loved but put their parents on guard! The views the hillside afforded though were magnificent. And the animals on the working farm were a source of delight. Well equipped, Kate was on hand should we have any queries.

We had a lovely stay at the Cart, beautiful lakes and excellent fishing. The hosts were fantastic and there is a little cafe onsite. I would recommend staying here.

We were looking for beautiful surroundings and peaceful location and we weren't disappointed. We could not ask for more. The cottage was spotless and Charlie was very helpful when needed. I do recommend the place with no hesitation.

A real super-host if ever there was one. This property is gorgeous and set within both public and private walks through woodland, farmland and along streams. The perfect place for a dog to run around and one of the best spots to capture local wildlife. We saw a river otter, a barn owl and ate lunch in the garden while watching ducklings learn to take off from the water. At night, we were warm in front of the lovely fire or amazed at the lovely stars viewable with so little light pollution. Would definitely stay again.

Really lovely cottage, very well thought out and equipped with everything you might need. Very clean and comfortable and the garden is lovely and gets the sun. Lots of footpaths nearby so great for dogs too. We stayed for the weekend but could easily have enjoyed staying longer. Would recommend, thank you!
