Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Saint-Michel-en-l'Herm

The accommodation is spacious and the garden is very pleasant. We had a great time with 6 adults and 2 children. It is located about 1 hour from La Rochelle and 15 minutes from La Tranche-sur-Mer. I recommend this accommodation as much for the layout of the garden which makes it very charming as for the comfort of the bedding and equipment (billiards, spa, barbecue, etc.)

We highly recommend the place! The apartment is stylish and furnished with a lot of love for detail, spotlessly clean and excellently equipped. The spacious outdoor area with a beautiful garden and a wonderful pool invites you to relax and offers a fantastic atmosphere. Hostess Céline is very warm and attentive – you feel welcome from the first moment.

We had a great weekend, I highly recommend this listing. Everything was perfect, house with lots of charm and well-equipped. Close to shops. You can book with no hesitation. Jacques is very welcoming.

Very good weekend for 4. The accommodation is very nice and we were able to enjoy the outside, also very well furnished and very well located in a natural setting with no noise other than the little birds. Nathalie was very responsive and gave good advice. I would highly recommend it.

Loulou and Eric are very welcoming, they do everything to make the stay go wonderfully. The house is better than in the photos, everything has been thought of to make you feel good and it is very well equipped. We'll be back with pleasure...thank you again

We had a pleasant stay in Christophe's house. The views are simply magical. The place was spotless when we arrived! Being able to do everything on foot is also very appreciable, beach, walk on the coastal path in front of the house, shops and markets nearby. Celine’s house was lovely and extremely well located. The lovely restaurants of La Flotte and the local market were a short walk, and we loved biking around the island. The house itself is gorgeous. We will definitely return!

A very nice apartment overlooking the harbor entrance - located between the Ketten and Laternenturm. The property is located in a beautiful old house made of white limestone. The apartment was well ventilated by many skylights and the slopes make the apartment very charming. There are a variety of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, a beach is 5 minutes away and downtown La Rochelle is also a few minutes away. We arrived by train and did a lot on foot or by rental bike. The property is also within walking distance of the train station.

Corinne is such an amazing and responsive host, and her place was exactly what we needed. Would 100% recommend. A bit about the apartment: it looked exactly as described, comfortable and clean. Its location probably can’t be better since it was right by the pier of Saint-Martin, a very charming and calm village. Now, the real stars were the hosts. Corinne herself was very responsive and proactive and even though she wasn’t there at check-in, she arranged for a family member to not only be there and greet us, but also drive us from the La Rochelle train station to the island. She also called the bus company to confirm our bus time upon departure and was kind enough to allow a later check in so we had a place to leave our belongings while waiting for our train. Overall, amazing hosts. Thank you!

This is the perfect location (for 2 people) close to the coast and a few kilometers from La Rochelle. The house has a private small garden, is very tastefully decorated and the kitchen is equipped with good kitchen appliances. Two bicycles are available for trips in the area. Axel is a very considerate host, who is always available for questions or any problems. Recommended!

Very quiet for the studio. For those who love walking, I've been spoiled. Xavier is responsive and helped me a lot. Good restaurants.

Maryse is a very nice and available host and she is also very accommodating for check-in and check-out when possible! The apartment is ideally located. We rented for our 3-day weekend and we did everything on foot! The parking space is a big plus. We highly recommend Maryse and her property! You can go there without so much as a second thought, you won't be disappointed! Hi, My parents loved the stay, quiet, really close to the sea, no noise at night or during the day. They liked everything they did and especially going to the beach on foot. Jean Michel and Christine responded to their request very quickly and efficiently. They were happy and came back relaxed and soothed from their stay. Which I think they'll be happy to do again. i highly recommend it.

Ideally located at the gates of St Martin, city center and port within walking distance, neat decoration. Perfect apartment for visiting the island
