Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Saint-Marc-Jaumegarde

Clothildes place is absolutely beautiful. very spacious, high ceilings, both bedrooms are huge. all decorated it a very tastefully way. we stayed there with our 2 kids, it fits 6 people with a bed in the attic. The village is tiny, there is 1 restaurant 5 min walk from the house which was very good. some of most beautiful towns are 3-20km drive away. the pool is small but was sufficient for kids and us to cool down in. The guide which Clothilde prepared was one of the best I have seen, we took it with us everywhere we went. book your restaurants in advance as those towns are small and most of the places run 1 service for lunch and dinner. Clothilde was an amazing host, handy where needed otherwise we were left to us. highly recommend this place!

We first booked through Airbnb. It was just great with this host and his very, very nice family. Every morning there was a different nice little surprise for breakfast (eggs, special bread, jams, ...). The tips for excursions and restaurant visits were very good. Cyril was always available for questions. The location of the apartment is absolutely perfect. We thank Cyril and his nice family for the extraordinary atmosphere in the accommodation and the excellent accompaniment during our time. We will be happy to come back. Sabine and Reinhard

We had a great stay and Sophie was a wonderful host. Fantastic location (quiet and 5-10 min drive from Gordes). The villa has been newly renovated and made for a lovely place to stay. Would recommend and visit again. Great base to explore Provence!

What a fabulous place to stay! Quiet, but walkable to all of Aix centre. We walked to dinner every night and came back to a peaceful house with a private backyard and pool. Having parking was a huge benefit and management team of Emma and Silvio was so helpful. Emma was very responsive. We fit 8 people comfortably with 3 couples and 2 singles.

Christophe was a very friendly host, very responsive, providing excellent advice for things to do or not to do.

What makes this place is undoubtedly the pool area, it's large, well thought out, superbly furnished, everything is there to relax and have a good time, equipped kitchen, deckchairs, inflatables, lighting… the house is family, there are games to occupy everyone and to our greatest pleasure. The house is well designed, the upstairs bedroom has a toilet and a bathroom, the courtyard allows you to park several vehicles, which is convenient. And if you want to get out of this little paradise, it's well located, just 10 minutes from Aix by car and close to pretty little villages to visit such as Ansouis, Cucuron, Lourmarin… We also particularly enjoyed the welcome from François and Virginie, always at your disposal, with a smile. Recommended.

We loved our stay here. Marie was very helpful and informative. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. Pool is great, especially for young, non swimmers. Lunch outside at the big table in the shade was always fantastic. We would definitely stay here again. Perfect spot for a family vacation!

This apartment was a perfectly located and beautifully authentic 18th (?) century apartment in Aix. The parking deck was very close, as were wonderful restaurants and shops. The weekend flea market is a block away and the flower and produce markets are a couple of blocks as well. Aix is very easy to walk around in a short time. The apartment was old and charming, yes, but also had every modern amenity, very quiet and safe. The linens were crisp and clean and the bedrooms very comfortable. Helene met us at entry and was immediately available when we texted. Take note that it is a 3 floor walk up a beautiful old stone staircase, but good exercise!

First, if you are staying in Aix en Provence, do not hesitate to stay at Brice’s apartment. The apartment was just perfect! The location was literally a five minute walk to the city center. We have experienced many excellent Airbnb accommodations and Brice was one of the premier hosts. He truly made us feel welcome with a variety of welcome offerings and even an au revoir surprise. We would definitely book again as well as recommend to our friends!

An excellent apartment in the heart of the old town. Beautifully decorated with charming French antiques and art but not over decorated at all, a selection of pretty dishes and glassware that made lunches and breakfast from the daily farmers’ market in Aix a joy to prepare. Spacious, clean, super comfortable bed, elegant tub and shower, accommodations for our baby. The list goes on. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat. Moments from the best cafes, boulangeries and restaurants. We enjoyed ourselves so much and slept very well here. The only thing to note with luggage and a baby, is there is no elevator and it’s 6 floors up. A good workout in the heat but the place is air conditioned and beautiful so it’s worth it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Can’t beat the location! The rooftop was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and the AC worked great. The only thing I didn’t *love* was the stairs to get up to the apartment. There was a light you could turn on when you first walked in that lit the bottom stairs - there may have been more further up but I didn’t see any. It wasn’t a problem for us as I just used the flashlight on my phone but it’s DARK. Once again, not a deterrent at all and still giving 5 stars but may be a little bit more difficult for those that are vision impaired or do not have a flashlight on their phone!

We had a wonderful stay at Alix’s flat in Aix-en-Provence! This was perhaps the most stunning rental we have stayed at out of dozens of them. The view from the Terrace absolutely cannot be beat and we ate outside multiple evenings listening to the occasional church bells and birds chirping. The size of the rental was just perfect for our family of 5. The rooms were clean and updated and the bathrooms really nice. The kitchen was sizable and updated and perfect for cooking several meals after picking up vegetables and meats from the nearby market. As other viewers have noted, you do have to climb four stories of steps. But it was extremely well worth it! There are several restaurants and a coffee shop just outside. If we come back to Aix we would definitely stay here again.

I stayed a few days at Jean Philippe's to attend a training. The location was ideal for me: close to the airport, 30 min walk to the city center, 5 min to a supermarket. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped and my check-in (like my check-out!) was super simple I plan to go back to the next training!

Great stay in this little piece of heaven! Just a stone's throw from Aix-en-Provence, Annie's place allows you to be quiet in a beautiful setting. The studio is well-equipped, nothing was missing. Annie and her husband are welcoming hosts and I can only recommend a stay with them!

The accommodation offered is very clean and very well equipped. The bedrooms are large and the living/dining room spacious and very bright. I would recommend this rental. The owner is very attentive and available.

Amazing stay in Cassis. The apartment is modern and super clean. Having AC during summer in Cassis was a great luxury. The apartment is just a minute walk away from the main harbor with all the restaurants and just a few minutes from the beach - really great location. Beautiful deck outside with a great view as well. The place is perfect for up to 4 people. Guy was really helpful in making sure I knew how to find the apartment and get inside and checked in during my stay. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
