Private suite vacation rentals in Saint Lawrence River

This Airbnb is absolutely perfect. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The bedroom on the main floor was great for my parents who require accessibility. Lyster is a beautiful little village. One of the highlights is access to the Parc Lineaire des Bois-Francs. A trail that goes on forever surrounded by farmland. It was a lovely surprise. If you are looking for an Airbnb in this area, look no further. This one is fabulous.

A wonderful stop on our road trip. Beautiful view of the St. John River and we even got a chance for a quick paddle in the morning before we left. It would be great to have a barbeque or something to cook on outside.

Michele and her husband were absolutely amazing! So incredibly kind and their home is on a beautiful piece of property. Situated in a remote area in between York and Ogunquit it was easy to get ANYWHERE! Michele was incredibly responsive with questions, recommendations, and just about anything you could need. I would HIGHLY recommend staying with them!

La petite maison de Ghislaine est très mignonne et fonctionnelle, nous avons été accueillis chaleureusement et il y avait quelques petites attentions dans le frigo, tout est très propre. Wonderful stay, the place was in a beautiful location, walkable to Wolfe’s Neck Farm where we love to walk. My husband and I were there the first few days, then our adult daughter joined us for two nights. The place is small (described accurately) but the three of us found it very workable. The king bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of outside patio space to lounge and soak up the sun when it was out. This was a work trip for us as we were getting a property in a nearby town ready for sale. We didn’t have time to use the provided kayaks but hope to in a future stay. The hosts very friendly and accommodating, highly recommended this property.

This was our second stay at David's place. The unit is always squeaky clean and has lots of little touches that make us feel at home. Hosts are friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again next time we're in the area!

Nous avons passé trois semaines très agréables chez notre hôte. Elle est extrêmement gentille, discrète et toujours souriante, et nous avons beaucoup apprécié discuter avec elle. The unit was comfortable and has everything you need to cook your own meal .including condiments . It's beautifully appointed . The bed and linen were just beautiful. The most comfortable we have had stayed in so far this trip . Thanks Gail . Was great .

Matthew is the most responsive friendly host we have ever had out of an Airbnb host. He gave ample check in instructions and was very accommodating during our last minute booking. The place is so charming but we just loved the back patio that had lots of wildlife to watch. We saw birds, squirrels, bunnies, chipmunks, and a groundhog. I can’t recommend this place enough:)

This 2nd floor, large studio is a 9 minute straight drive on the main road into Bar Harbor for restaurants, shopping & groceries. It’s very close to one of the park entrances. Having our own parking spot was great & loved the sky lights for fresh cool air day & night. This is a spacious studio with everything you need relax before & after you head out to enjoy all the natural beauty the island & Acadia have to offer.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour! L’appartement est récent, très bien décoré, accueillant, chaleureux, d’une propreté impeccable!! Beaucoup d’accommodations dans l’appartement, ils ont pensé à tout. Les photos sont très représentatives! On s’est senti comme à la maison! L’appartement est à 2 minutes en auto de la rue principale, près de la piste cyclable. Nous avons pu utiliser les fat bikes disponibles pour nous, pour aller à la plage, c’était super! Belle terrasse en arrière, tranquille et intime. Je recommande l’endroit sans aucune hésitation! J’espère pouvoir y retourner un jour!

On était dans une bulle réconfortante et c’est tellement beau chez vous. Quartier très calme et vert ,nos réunions étaient à 10 min en voiture de l’autre côté du pont. Merci encore

I’ve stayed at many Airbnb. David’s place has the best stocked kitchen hands down. I loved all the coffee and tea options. There’s also a fridge full of wine. Checking out the snack basket was fun too. David also has a huge record album collection, a surround sound audio system and a huge TV in the living room and bedroom. All of which makes it fun to stay inside, explore and relax. The basement apartment is down the hill with 10-12 stone steps. David offered to help unload our car. If you have mobility issues, the steps could be a challenge. The bathroom door is warped and doesn’t close. If you require privacy, that might bother you. All in all, David’s place is rustic and cozy. David himself is a kind host. The area is green and beautiful. I didn’t get a chance to fish in the lake across the street though I read it’s quite nice. Burlington VT is a nice one hour road trip. Lots of hiking trails nearby if you prefer something closer.

Truly a home away from home (or even better than ours). Kitchen has absolutely everything you possibly need. The whole house is spotless. The beautiful design makes best use of the peaceful surrounding and draws in the natural light to relax on the sofa. It truly feels like a retreat. I miss it already even though I just left yesterday! And not to mention the friendliness and hospitality of Nathalie - thank you :)

Kahina was so willing to accommodate our special requests from securely storing and charging our bikes, to providing a little milk for my coffee. She was all about making our experience great and she knew how to do it.

Excellent instructions and directions. All information was clearly stated. Unit is the lower floor of beautiful house. Entry was via keypad to a door around the back. Place is very spacious and extremely clean. Highly recommended .

We loved our stay here! Such a sweet little attached cottage surrounded by trees. My husband loved all the warblers in the morning (at least 10 different species!). We appreciated how clean it was, especially the kitchen and bathroom areas. Would highly recommend! The hosts were both very kind and considerate.

Notre séjour fin août 2024 au Airbnb de Francis et Geneviève a été des plus agréable. Un bel accueille chaleureux, une cuisine très bien équipée ainsi que la disponibilité de Francis à nous aider à bien utiliser l'équipement a été très apprécié. Le logement est lumineux et nous a convenu à merveille. Une vue du Fleuve aussi extraordinaire rend permet de passer très bons moments sur la véranda. Merci beaucoup.
