Celine's place is fantastic! There was plenty of room for our family of 5. House was clean, nicely decorated and kitchen was well stocked to prepare dinner after a trip to the grocery store. Beds were comfortable and the view of the English Chanel was great! Location was excellent! Short drive to D-Day activities and Bayeux. It was a short walk down to the English Channel, which made for very relaxing evenings. House was very easy to find and operating the lock box was easy as well. Everything was as described and we were very pleased with our experience overall. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! The place was exactly as described—cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning nature. We arrived in the evening, dropped off our things, and went out for a sunset drive. It was the perfect way to start our trip. Also, the cats were such a sweet surprise—so friendly and welcoming! Voor de 2de keer hier verbleven en het blijft een absoluut geweldig huis. Geweldig uitzicht waar je rustig de getijden van de zee kan zien komen en gaan in absolute rust. Ongeacht het weer is dit een fantastisch huis, bij mooi weer lekker op het terras en bij wat regen een blok hout in de kachel en lekker in de woonkamer verblijven.

Maison particulièrement bien équipée (cuisine, jardin), les enfants se sont fait plaisir avec la balançoire et la borne d'arcade. Elle est de plus très bien située, au calme et à proximité immédiate d'Omaha Beach. La supérette à quelques minutes à pieds permet de faire des courses d'appoint. This house was the perfect accommodation for family of 5. We were able to spread out, and have some privacy (with room to spare.) Loic was responsive and helpful. The house itself and the linens were very clean. The location was very quiet, beautiful, and somewhat walkable. Definitely walkable to Omaha beach, however without renting a car you’d be stranded with no means to go anywhere else. The area is very secluded with no reliable Ubers. All amenities including dishwasher and washing machine worked perfectly. I would definitely book this accommodation again! Recommendations : There were no mirrors in any of the bedrooms, only the bathrooms. Would be helpful to add mirrors to the bedrooms. Additionally, the night stands in one of the twin bedrooms had a light, but no cord attached to it to make it functional.

Je recommande chaudement ce logement pour un couple ou un adulte avec un enfant /pré ado et si vous avez un chien. Anne et sa maman sont très réactives et à l’écoute. Le logement est vraiment très propre et plein de petites choses qu’il manque généralement dans les locations et ça fait la différence : quelques produits d’entretien, du matériel propre et non abîmé pour le ménage, quelques ustensiles de cuisine comme un petit appareil à raclette, un batteur,… bref on ne se sent absolument pas démuni ou perdu si on décide de cuisiner. On se sent comme à la maison. La propriété est grande et clôturée. On peut y rentrer son véhicule. Le seul point négatif fut la difficulté à trouver une boulangerie proche pour de bons croissants frais le matin et la non compréhension des horaires d’ouverture de la brasserie située juste à côté. Sinon rien à redire si ce n’est n’hésitez pas à louer.

A great place to stay if: 1. You are visiting the D-Day beaches, especially Utah, Omaha and the American Cemetery, and Gold Beach, and some of the museums. Or if: 2. You are looking for a place that is calm, quiet, tiny community. Alexander’s place is easy access in a sort of out-of-the-way area, not much for services around. There is a Total petrol station to the east, and a bit farther U Express grocery which is fairly large and has a good selection. I recommend this place highly for a stay in Normandy, close to the attractions. Be sure to test the crepes at Aux Délices d’Alice a few km to the west in Vierville-sur-Mer. It is a tiny food wagon next to the highway; I believe there is a walk in restaurant there also.

Das Apartment war makellos sauber, modern und liebevoll eingerichtet. Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Lage ist super, mehrere Restaurants sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die schnelle und freundliche Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und würde jederzeit wiederkommen!

Nous sommes restés 3 jours chez Anne et avons beaucoup apprécié l appartement et sa localisation. La vue est très belle. Les échanges avec Anne ont été faciles et agréables. Nous recommandons!

The apt. was clean, and well equipped. Parking spot right in front is a bonus as is an outdoor seating area and washer/dryer in back. Walking distance to everything. An FYI is you will need to clean, including mopping or pay a $15e fee. Not a problem, just good to know.

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

Le gite est parfait : Très bon accueil. Gite calme. Pratique. Très bien situé. Fignolé pour être bien. Etc… Mes coups de cœurs : Le PORT 24/24 à 100 mètres du gîte. Un repas au Chalut ! Moins de 20 € le repas simple et complet. Du poisson frais dans l’assiette; de l’authentique partout et à voix haute. En face de la Criée. La cote 112 ! Ring de Caen . Sortie 10. Enorme bataille de chars & canons et fantassins en 44 ; les 8 grands panneaux explicatifs valent un bon livre de connaisseur ( ! ) Rue de Nesmond, en face de la Cathédrale de Bayeux. Le soir : admirez les tonalités de la cathédrale et surtout les vitraux qui changent de coloris chaque 5 mn pendant 2 heures au couchant. En mangeant quelconque mais très bien placé en face de l’édifice à ce moment. La vieille église de Thaon. Et son ruisseau double avec une rando au milieu !... Une tartelette normande dans la pâtisserie l’Epi du port = une tuerie ! ***Le point de vue en haut de Port en Bessin*** : escaladez la rue du Phare.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end chez Frédéric, l’appartement est moderne, bien agencé, bien fourni, il ne manquait rien ! Et que dire de l’emplacement exceptionnel avec ce balcon et sa vue sur la mer. Tout ça à deux pas du centre. Frédéric nous a toujours répondu très vite et a été très arrangeant. Nous avons été accueilli par Michel à l’arrivée qui a été très accueillant. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Agréable séjour chez karin. Proche du centre ville et de la mer. Commerce à proximité et belle balade à faire le long du littoral.

Très beau logement idéalement situé face à la mer. Calme et reposant. Katrin nous a accueilli chaleureusement, avec quelques conseils pour notre séjour. Nous mettons ce logement dans nos favoris et ne manquerons pas d'y retourner.

Wie kann man es am besten beschreiben wenn man sich in einer Airbnb-Unterkunft wie eine Prinzessin gefühlt hat?🥰 Die 1899 gebaute Villa La Sapinière liegt ruhig in unmittelbarer Strandnähe. Anne hatte uns vor unserer Ankunft schon ausführliche Informationen über die genaue Lage der Wohnung geschickt. In der Wohnung lag außerdem noch ein nützliches Handbuch. Beim Betreten der Wohnung stieg uns gleich ein sehr angenehmer Duft in die Nase und auch die Handseife hat sehr gut gerochen. Für unseren Hund lag unter der Treppe im Eingangsbereich ein Handtuch bereit was wir sehr geschätzt haben, da es gerade stark geregnet hatte. Im Kühlschrank warteten Orangensaft und Wasser auf uns. Das Appartement ist ein wunderschönes, helles Atelier mit farblich perfekt aufeinander abgestimmter, sehr geschmackvoller Einrichtung. Es war alles makellos sauber und das Schlafzimmer mit dem Teppichboden war unglaublich gemütlich. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt sehr auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt dort❤ Danke Anne!

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel, l’appartement était impeccable, la résidence sécurisée et à deux pas de la plage et de restaurants ; Olivier a été très attentionné et nous a conseillé des activités à Villers que nous avons vraiment apprécié. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Le logement proposé par David est tip top ! Le calme, une vue imprenable sur la mer, coucher de soleil depuis la "terrasse véranda", un emplacement à 20 minutes de Caen qui permet de profiter de la ville, de la campagne et des bords de mer ! Quoi dire d'autre ? Un hôte disponible, et pour finir, une déco sympa qui rajoute du charme à ce we en amoureux sur les plages de Normandie ! Les yeux fermés vous pouvez louer!

Wir wurden herzlichst empfangen. Wir wurden herumgeführt und uns wurde alles gezeigt. Die Gegend ist sehr schön und man kann vieles unternehmen. Ein Spaziergang am Strand ist ein Muss. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön und bietet alles was man braucht.

My son and I stayed 2 nights in Yannicks apartment, it has restored my faith in air bnb after a dreadful experience in Paris, the apartment is better than the pictures, the location is 10/10, the apartment was immaculately clean, I slept on the sofa and it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in since arriving in France 1 week ago. The town of Bayeux is the prettiest town I have ever seen and the apartment was 5 minutes walk to everything we needed. THANK YOU for allowing us to stay in your amazing apartment Yannick.
