Celine's place is fantastic! There was plenty of room for our family of 5. House was clean, nicely decorated and kitchen was well stocked to prepare dinner after a trip to the grocery store. Beds were comfortable and the view of the English Chanel was great! Location was excellent! Short drive to D-Day activities and Bayeux. It was a short walk down to the English Channel, which made for very relaxing evenings. House was very easy to find and operating the lock box was easy as well. Everything was as described and we were very pleased with our experience overall. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! The place was exactly as described—cozy, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning nature. We arrived in the evening, dropped off our things, and went out for a sunset drive. It was the perfect way to start our trip. Also, the cats were such a sweet surprise—so friendly and welcoming! Particularly well-equipped house (kitchen, garden), the children had fun with the swing and the arcade machine. It is also in a very good location, quiet and close to Omaha Beach. The convenience store is a few minutes' walk away for extra shopping. Thank you Beatrice for the tips and responsiveness in our exchanges!

This house was the perfect accommodation for family of 5. We were able to spread out, and have some privacy (with room to spare.) Loic was responsive and helpful. The house itself and the linens were very clean. The location was very quiet, beautiful, and somewhat walkable. Definitely walkable to Omaha beach, however without renting a car you’d be stranded with no means to go anywhere else. The area is very secluded with no reliable Ubers. All amenities including dishwasher and washing machine worked perfectly. I would definitely book this accommodation again! Recommendations : There were no mirrors in any of the bedrooms, only the bathrooms. Would be helpful to add mirrors to the bedrooms. Additionally, the night stands in one of the twin bedrooms had a light, but no cord attached to it to make it functional.

I highly recommend this listing for a couple or an adult with a child /pre-teen and if you have a dog. Anne and her mom are very responsive and attentive. The accommodation is really very clean and full of little things that are usually missing in rentals and it makes the difference: some cleaning products, clean and undamaged equipment for cleaning, some kitchen utensils like a small raclette grill, a mixer,… in short, you don't feel absolutely helpless or lost if you decide to cook. It feels like home. The property is large and fenced. You can park your vehicle there. The only negative point was the difficulty in finding a nearby bakery for good fresh croissants in the morning and the misunderstanding of the opening hours of the brewery located right next door. Otherwise, no complaints, but don't hesitate to rent.

A great place to stay if: 1. You are visiting the D-Day beaches, especially Utah, Omaha and the American Cemetery, and Gold Beach, and some of the museums. Or if: 2. You are looking for a place that is calm, quiet, tiny community. Alexander’s place is easy access in a sort of out-of-the-way area, not much for services around. There is a Total petrol station to the east, and a bit farther U Express grocery which is fairly large and has a good selection. I recommend this place highly for a stay in Normandy, close to the attractions. Be sure to test the crepes at Aux Délices d’Alice a few km to the west in Vierville-sur-Mer. It is a tiny food wagon next to the highway; I believe there is a walk in restaurant there also.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, modern and lovingly furnished. There was everything you need. The location is great, several restaurants are within minutes walking distance. I would particularly like to highlight the fast and friendly communication with the hostess. I felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime!

The apt. was clean, and well equipped. Parking spot right in front is a bonus as is an outdoor seating area and washer/dryer in back. Walking distance to everything. An FYI is you will need to clean, including mopping or pay a $15e fee. Not a problem, just good to know.

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

The cottage is perfect: Very nice hosting. Quiet cottage. Convenient. Great location. Fine-tuned to be good. Etc… My favorites: 24/7 PORT 100 meters from the cottage. A meal at the Chalut! Less than €20 for a simple and complete meal. Fresh fish on the plate; authentic everywhere and out loud. In front of the Auction. The 112 coast! Ring of Caen. Exit 10. Huge battle of tanks & cannons and infantry in 44; the 8 large explanatory panels are worth a good connoisseur's book (!) Rue de Nesmond, opposite Bayeux Cathedral. In the evening: admire the tones of the cathedral and especially the stained glass windows that change color every 5 minutes for 2 hours at sunset. Eating anything but very well placed in front of the building at this time. The old church of Thaon. And its double stream with a hike in the middle!... A Norman tartlet in the Epi du port bakery = amazing! ***The viewpoint at the top of Port en Bessin***: climb the Rue du Phare.

We had a great weekend at Frédéric's, the apartment is modern, well arranged, well stocked, nothing was missing! And what about the exceptional location with this balcony and sea view. All this close to the center. Frédéric always responded to us very quickly and was very accommodating. We were greeted by Michel on arrival who was very welcoming. We'll be happy to go back!

Beautiful views and well-catered. Check in was easy with Katrin who spoke very good English, which was good because our French isn't great! Cabourg itself is lovely and only a 5-10 min walk away.

What's the best way to describe feeling like a princess in an Airbnb accommodation?🥰 Built in 1899, Villa La Sapinière is quietly located close to the beach. Anne had already sent us detailed information about the exact location of the apartment before our arrival. There was also a useful manual in the apartment. Upon entering the apartment, a very pleasant scent immediately entered our noses and the hand soap also smelled very good. For our dog, a towel was available under the stairs in the entrance area, which we greatly appreciated, as it had just rained heavily. Orange juice and water were waiting for us in the refrigerator. The apartment is a beautiful, bright studio with perfectly coordinated, very tasteful furnishings. Everything was immaculately clean and the bedroom with the carpet was incredibly cozy. David's place is great! The quiet, stunning sea views, sunset from the "veranda terrace", a location 20 minutes from Caen that allows you to enjoy the city, countryside and seaside! What else can I say? An available host, and finally, a nice decor that adds charm to this romantic weekend on the beaches of Normandy! You can rent without so much as a second thought!

We were warmly received. We were shown around and everything was shown to us. The area is very nice and you can do a lot. A walk on the beach is a must. The place is very nice and offers everything you need.

My son and I stayed 2 nights in Yannicks apartment, it has restored my faith in air bnb after a dreadful experience in Paris, the apartment is better than the pictures, the location is 10/10, the apartment was immaculately clean, I slept on the sofa and it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in since arriving in France 1 week ago. The town of Bayeux is the prettiest town I have ever seen and the apartment was 5 minutes walk to everything we needed. THANK YOU for allowing us to stay in your amazing apartment Yannick.
