Super apartment in a very quiet part of Saintes, at only a 10 minutes walk from the historic center. Parking right in front of the house! The apartment is super spacious and practical, and the deco is top. We loved the outside space where we took our breakfast in the morning sun. Very relaxing!! Many thanks to Bea and her husband for their hospitality.

Well located and charming accommodation, in a typical neighborhood close to the ocean where the must-see corners of Royan can be visited on foot. In the evening, the nights are quiet and the mattress is comfortable. Thanks to Hugo for his responsiveness and kindness. We'll be back!

Very nice house even in winter! Lots of things available in the kitchen in particular but also boxes of tissues etc ... The decor, the atmosphere of the house and garden allow a zero stress stay

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

We spent over 2 months in this lovely stand-alone cottage which had everything for the perfect stay: comfortable clean rooms, large kitchen and bathroom, soothing decor, and wonderful surroundings. We enjoyed the beautiful Cognac vineyards, blossoming cherry trees, flowers everywhere and a refreshing pool. Watch the sunrise from upstairs and the moon rise from your front door (private entrance to the cottage). Thomas respects your privacy but is instantly responsive if needed. A peaceful escape in the countryside, yet only a 5-10 minute drive to nearby towns. Highly recommend it!

New accommodation, tastefully decorated, open to a peaceful patio that invites you to relax. Ideally located between the various beaches and a 25-minute walk to the iconic Royan market. Emmanuelle is available, warm and gives good advice.

Our stay went very well, clean and nice accommodation.

We loved James' place. It's a charming and interesting house in lovely surroundings, beautifully decorated, very spacious and comfortable and really well equipped. There is private parking right next to the house, and pretty outside spaces for sitting, eating or lounging outside. We received a very warm welcome and interesting local information from George and from James.

The accommodation is very nice, well-decorated and well-equipped. It feels like home. It's a very nice cocoon. Emmanuelle was very welcoming (lives nearby) and kind to welcome us, advise us on the wineries to visit as well as the walks. We'd love to come back, that's for sure. The outdoor spaces (nice courtyard with garden furniture and BBQ) as well as the garden on the other side are very nice. We were 5 adults and all enjoyed our stay (without disturbing each other) in this beautiful house.

Pleasant and peaceful

A lovely place with plenty of room and a big pool.

the welcome was perfect. the perfect place for a family of 5 even if a little refreshment would be needed. the structures are pleasant. the port and its amenities are within walking distance. we recommend this listing and again, special mention for the welcome.

Mylène and Laurent were lovely from the time of our booking, very flexible and available. The accommodation perfectly matched our expectations and we were even pleasantly surprised by all the equipment there was in the accommodation. Always very attentive, and especially a very pleasant cocoon, we quickly felt at home! We'll be back with pleasure. Thanks again! ☺️

We had a great time in Emmanuelle's studio which is very well equipped and extremely well located (shops and beach within walking distance ). The environment is peaceful and very quiet while being close to lots of entertainment. Very nice hostess, perfect communication. Thank you Emmanuelle!
