Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Saint-Georges-d'Oléron

We recommend this lovely house 200%. We are delighted with our stay, everything was there: the charm, the gift of hospitality (with several small local surprises😊), the cleanliness, the amenities, the proximity of shops on foot, the location for visiting the island, communication and flexibility. We regularly use Airbnb and your rental is in the top 3: thank you so much! And I think we'll come back in a more summery period but despite the capricious weather we still enjoyed it. The house is absolutely as advertised. All the comforts are there to accommodate a family or friends (kitchen equipment, games and accessories for children, barbecue and smoking room). The land is beautiful, very well maintained by Cathy and her husband. In addition, Cathy was very welcoming, attentive, sharing, always ready to answer the slightest question with a smile and the utmost precision. And finally, a big thank you to her for the afternoon spent gently removing splinters from our little Eden's hand. We'll be back for sure!

The house or the two houses are connected by a courtyard. This is very nice, so you have a private setting. The courtyard has tables for eating, a sheltered area for worse weather, where there is also a wooden grill. A gas grill is also available. In the small house there are two bedrooms and a bathroom, in the large house a spacious living-dining area, two rooms, bathroom and toilet. The owners are always available, very helpful and incredibly likeable. The house ensemble is old, which means something here and there can go wrong. But even here - no worries. It was helped quickly and easily. There is no assigned parking and no Wi-Fi. But both are actually quite tangible. Parking is easy to find in the area and you can stop briefly to unload and invite. A market and a bakery are within walking distance.

Lovely stay in Ile de Re. Beautiful property located in a peaceful area only 5 minutes from a the town square with bakery and local market. Isabelle was very helpful.

We had a lovely time at Aurélie's place. The house is very well equipped, we did not lack for anything. Location is great, we rented bikes right next door, 5 minutes walk, really very convenient 😀 Cleanliness, we've known better but it's also not catastrophic. Be careful though you can't sleep in the mezzanine, it's not a mattress but sunbathing cushions. Our friend had to sleep in the living room on the clic clac. In any case, thank you to Andrée for hosting us and for being available.

Excellent stay in a large house very functional and very well equipped perfectly adapted for 3 couples. We felt very comfortable there. We plan to go back next year depending on availability.

Tres bien! Anne Carole's place was great. We felt totally comfortable and enjoyed our stay. In the kitchen, there is everything you could need for cooking. The bedrooms were very quiet and with the window open you can hear the sea. From the house, the beach is not a minute away. Overall, we were all completely satisfied and would be happy to come back! This is a great place to stay in La Rochelle! The place is lovely, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Perfect for a couple. The location, in the historical part of La Rochelle, is close to everything : restaurants, grocery stores, shops and waterfront. Christèle was a very attentive and responsive host I highly recommend!

Perfectly located appartment, and the garage is a huge advantage. Very nice place to stay at, close to everything, and easy to get in/out. I would not recommended it if you have small kids. There is some safety issues like the stairs, windows, plugs, and furniture that can fall.

Very nice rental that perfectly matches the Airbnb listing. Thierry is very friendly and very responsive. The city of Saujon is very cute with pleasant walks along the Seudre.

Beautiful house, very good bedding and very well maintained / easy to use (ground floor). The fenced and secure park (with playground) for children - ideal! Living room with wood stove, very pleasant in the evening and cocooning - a haven of peace. Very responsive host on the platform, beach recommendations and easy communication. In short, a great place.

The layout of the villa is perfect for multi-generation family holidays with space to come together combined with distinct bedroom zones for added privacy. Extremely well equipped kitchen. The villa has off-street parking and the garage for safe storage of bicycles is a huge bonus. We had a great stay and give 5* rating.

A beautiful beachfront location. A very beautiful family house, tastefully decorated, welcoming and in a peaceful place. We did a lot of walking, in the center of Fouras, within walking distance. You can go to the island of Aix by taking the boat on foot. The weather was nice. Good memories.

Perfect stay in a superb villa with very comfortable bedrooms, large rooms, an extensive furnished terrace and everything you need. Perfect and very accommodating concierge service. One regret, the temperature of the pool (though advertised heated) is much too cold and we were not able to enjoy it pleasantly. Another point very simple to improve, a single house key as a gate for 9 people is not enough. In conclusion, however, we had a very pleasant stay in a superb place with the obvious trust of the owners who left all the storage open and well filled. A property and location that I would highly recommend.

We had a great time with the family at Anthony's house. It is very well-equipped and the layout of the different rooms (sleeping area, dining area, etc.) allows you to share time together but also to have your own space! The village center is within walking distance (there are all the essential shops) and we rented bikes, which allowed us to visit the rest of the island on foot and go to the beach a few minutes by bike from the house. Finally, thank you to Justine from the concierge, who gave us a warm welcome on our arrival and was available despite our very early departure, not to mention her valuable advice on the good spots on the island!

Excellent family weekend in this functional house with very neat decor. We felt right at home, from the youngest to the oldest, and were able to enjoy the pool and the very well-equipped outdoor spaces. Nothing was missing, and Stephy's lovely hospitality is noteworthy.
