Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Saint-Astier

Caroline and Gilles are very warm and friendly hosts who were immediately available for questions. The listing is as described in the photos. It's a really extraordinary, very large apartment. The living room (formerly the station hall) resembles a museum, Caroline and Gilles have collected old station utensils and pictures and exhibited them there. House and garden are lovingly restored and designed, the two have invested a lot of work (and money) to make the old train station a wonderful accommodation. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The center of Le Bugue is about 1 km away, via the beautiful bike path "voie verte" it is 4 km. We really enjoyed the bike tours and our accommodation. I also enjoyed the personal contact and a little "chat" in the evening, so I could use the "rusty" French skills again. Thank you for everything!

Our guests from our wedding had a fantastic stay at Francois's place. Prior to our arrival Francois was super responsive and accommodating. Do not hesitate to book. The accommodation is superb and the location cannot be beat.

Spacious, bright, very clean accommodation with a small sunny balcony and views of the cathedral. Free parking at the foot of the building. 10 min walk from the city center along the river. We had a great weekend. Air conditioning is a plus in the hot weather. We recommend it.

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

The accommodation was very comfortable and well-equipped. The terrace is good sized with a generous green space. We felt at home during the 2 weeks of our stay. Hosts who live nearby were available without being intrusive. The Dordogne is rich in places to visit. The immediate neighborhood on foot alone is not of great interest. You must therefore use a bicycle or a car to connect the historic center about 3 km away.

Jenny and Marc were excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and they are lovely people. The place is beautiful, the view is amazing, the gîte was very comfortable and well equipped. It is such a peaceful and tranquil place and the pool is superb. We cannot fault it at all. Thank you Jenny and Marc!

A wonderful and perfect location to explore the Dordogne. Made even more special by the attention to detail, and lovely personal touches, by the best of hosts Thierry. The story of his thoughtful restoration of the accommodation added to our pleasure. Thierry made us feel very at home. We are sat in the airport and already planning a return. Enchanté Thierry.

We both throughly enjoyed our stay. Marie Claire was always happy to help if one had a query . The accommodation was great value for money . We primarily cycled in the locality each day and it was good cycling.

Francine and Richard are very welcoming. Their cottage is very clean and I would highly recommend it. This is the second time we've come and we'll definitely come back.

Ariane's apartment is one of our absolute favorites! Very clean and well maintained, elegantly furnished, great location and Ariane is super friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the apartment!

Gorgeous stay in this wonderful little town for our friends wedding. Loads of amenities in the property - TV, speaker, fans and very appreciative of the welcome wine and biscuits. Fantastic location. Only downside was that we all had to share en suite shower as the other bathroom just had a handheld shower over bath which would have caused a lot of mess if used.

Very nice apartment, in a beautiful castle. The view overlooks a park, no perceptible noises apart from nature. It is also well isolated, we did not hear the neighbors of the stay. It is conveniently located, less than 2 minutes from the first shops. Thanks for staying!
