We had a super nice stay with Daniel and Claire, beautiful gite with welcome swimming pool, beautiful area for walking and cycling, but especially the peace and waking up with only the sound of the birds was super enjoyable for us, our dog Ziggy also enjoyed and felt very welcome. In short, highly recommended!

Aubeterre is a beautiful village perched on a hill, to be discovered! The cottage was very nice, well-equipped, with a beautiful view from the terrace. Beautiful decoration. Thank you

We spent a night at Virginia’s place and we did not want to leave, it was so peaceful and relaxing. The parking was easy and next to the property and Virginia greeted us on our arrival. The property was amazing and the grounds very extensive with lovely views. We would definitely stay here again if ever we are in the area. Thank you for the gift Virginia, it was lovely to meet you 😊

What a wonderful spot to get away! Truly beautiful views and if you like to hear the birds, this a must stay. Very quiet for sleeping. Lots of space for us to spread out in the large kitchen area and the outside covered patio. Conveniently located near Perigueux, 15 minutes to most services. Please note: There are steep stairs to the upper level and you walk through one bedroom with an ensuite bathroom to get to the third bedroom. Second bathroom on upper floor. Worked just fine for our family. Lots of lovely paths for walking. Laura and her family are lovely. Definitely recommend.

This small studio is ideal for relaxing. Very well equipped, very comfortable bedding. The pool is lovely. Stéphane and Karine are very welcoming and available. On-site parking, very convenient for bikers!

Everything was perfect. The accommodation is as described, no surprises. Jennifer is an attentive and conciliatory person.

Very nice place to stay in a wonderful quiet large park. The roses smell nice and the terrace offers plenty of space to relax. You can hear the birds in the evening as well as the frogs at the pond... it was a great three days, a perfect end to the city.

We had a great time in this fabulous home equipped with everything you could dream of to spend pleasant moments with friends or family: a superb and large swimming pool, several terraces, and even a sauna. We really enjoyed the bucolic charm of the park and the birds singing in the early morning. Thank you so much for sharing this little piece of heaven with us that already makes us want to come back. Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

We spent three days and two nights in Anne-Marie and Paul's beautiful studio, and we plan to come back as soon as possible. A real little cocoon, very well equipped and perfectly located in a quiet and idyllic environment. And what a view from the deck! We enjoyed beautiful walks around the village, and our dog Marcus was thrilled. What can I say about the warm welcome and kindness of Anne-Marie and Paul? We simply felt like family. Anne-Marie even took the time to go for a walk with us, accompanied by her adorable dog Jojo, to show us the surroundings. Special mention for the small touches that make all the difference: fresh eggs from the house hens, cold beers and delicious cherries were waiting for us upon arrival. In short, go there without a second thought: it's really not an Airbnb like the others.

Really very good, we came for work, it's very accessible, the apartment is great and it's quiet, the person I had on the phone was charming and very attentive. Thank you for everything. I'll be happy to go back.

Short stay at a super nice place. Cendrine is a very nice host and her accommodation is a very nice little cocoon. I recommend it without reservation.

Perfect accommodation, full of amenities for good cooking ;) Garden and great panoramic terrace, the river nearby and communication with Dorothée very easy throughout the stay. Great!

Everything about it was excellent

It was above all expectations, beautiful apartment with all our needs met. From coffee to shower gel, aircon worked perfectly and communication went very smoothly and easily. Sabine & Jean were super friendly and helpful and flexible with check-in and check-out. Would recommend to everyone and we will definitely come back here.

Spacious, bright, very clean accommodation with a small sunny balcony and views of the cathedral. Free parking at the foot of the building. 10 min walk from the city center along the river. We had a great weekend. Air conditioning is a plus in the hot weather. We recommend it.

The place is very peaceful and charming! The cottage is spacious, clean, very tasteful, and has more than you'll ever need. To top it all off, a nice breakfast basket that was very much appreciated. 🙂 I highly recommend this premium service quality property. 👍🏻

A house with heart and soul We have only been home for a few days and already miss the Jacotka, Gérard and the cozy cottage. Thanks to the warm welcome, we immediately felt at home. The gite is lovingly decorated, lots of wood, stylish lamps, beautiful cabinet that Jaqueline painted herself, comfortable beds and great, embroidered bed linen. Large, covered terrace overlooking the greenery, just perfect. The hosts are very warm people, we were even lucky to have an aperitif, we will never forget the friendly evening. Nearby are two very good restaurants La Douzième Heure and Le Cilaos. The surrounding area is very rural, the villages very beautiful. A real paradise for lovers of castles.
