Homey Cottage with Glacier View

Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

Die Zehen schreien, die ach so tolle Funktionsunterhose nass, der Skistock im Auge vom Göttergatten, der SUV zerkratzt, die Kaas nockeln drücken im Magen aber zum Glück trägt der Glühwein die letzten Meter... Oder die Blasen in den uneingelaufenden Bergstiefeln sind aufgeplatzt, der mal wieder zu schwer gepackte Wanderrucksack hängt nur noch auf einer Schulter, den Bauchgurt braucht man gar nicht, aber zum Glück gibts die Badewanne ... You'll love the place because of the healthy wood construction, the tiled stove, the quiet location, terrace, a fantastic view. My place is ideal for couples and guests traveling with their pets. There are many hiking opportunities and attractions nearby.

The 700 m² garden invites you to linger and on mild summer nights to barbecue evenings. 2 parking spaces are available.

Our guest apartment is on the second floor of an old town house in the heart of Hallein and offers a nice view of the pedestrian zone. Shops, bakeries, cafes, ice cream parlors and restaurants with beautiful gardens are practically at your doorstep. The medieval salt and Celtic city of Hallein is considered the “little sister” of the cultural city of Salzburg, which can be reached by S-Bahn in approx. 20 minutes.
