This special little hideaway was a real gem to find. I was looking for a place to chill out and do some company planning as well as some personal time out. I took my small dog Sid for company too. The boat is just delightful and even though I knew the weather was going to be awful - just looking out onto the water while I worked and read was perfect. The log fire made the place really cosy and even though the wifi was a little choppy (prob due to bad weather), I was still able to watch some Netflix is reasonable quality. Thanks for a great stay - will be coming again I’m sure.

I stayed with my wife for a couple nights. You can’t beat the location - on a quiet riverside with ducks & swans floating by. We sat and watched the sun go down over the fens with a glass of wine. The log burner kept the boat warm 24/7 so even after a night’s sleep or coming back from a day out it was still toasty warm. Mark met us at the boat and explained everything fully and the locals in the pub next door were warm & welcoming. A fun couple of nights and wee were lucky with the weather in February! Thanks to you both!

My stay at Janet’s place was very lovely. She is an amazing and kind woman. She gave me a lot of useful tips about places to visit and place to buy things I needed. I had a wonderful time and can recommend this place sincerely. Commuting was easy for me as I had a car. But Janet also helped me to find a bus to Cambridge. Well, at the end I went for Janet’s offer to go by bike as Janet is a passionate cyclist and always open to pass this on. Janet, thank you very much for the great time. I wish you the very best. 30 minutes walk from High Street. There is a place that turns around the road and is difficult to understand. The host was very kind and picked me up at the station. The trash can and the room were clean. It was a great hospitality. I want to go again

This was my first trip away for work and I was a bit apprehensive about staying in someone’s house but Harry and Louise were the best hosts I could ask for and it felt like staying with family. The house is stunning and they are happy to let you use everything which was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing little place. Aaron responded very quickly to any questions. We would have loved to have had Netflix or freebies etc..but we made do. Apart from that we really just couldn’t fault a single thing. Spotlessly clean, lovely shower and bed. Lovely and warm and felt private. Did a great 25mile round cycle to cambridge and back. Went into cambridge one evening to watch the rugby. And into Newmarket on the Sunday and did lots of chilling! Just perfect. Only 1.5 hours from London so was nice to not have to drive to far as we sometimes do to find nice spots. Thank you

Aaron’s apartment is a nice styling place with parking outside the property. The place was warm and welcoming when I got in. It was clean and very comfortable. Also, he was very easy to contact. I stayed here to visit Cambridge for the weekend. It was only a 15 minute ride to newmarket park and ride, making it very conveniently situated. Thanks, Aaron!

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were exhausted from 48 nonstop hours in London and needed a quiet place to rest up while visiting friends in Newmarket. This apartment exceeded our expectations--great location in town, quiet (even on New Year's Eve), spacious and very comfortable for my family of four. The host is very responsive to communication as well. Would definitely recommend.

This is the second time that I have stayed with Caroline and nothing has changed since April 2019. The private room and bathroom were still spotlessly clean. As I said last time, Caroline is a great host and I have no hesitation in recommending her accommodation.

Staying with Caroline was great. A spacious room with a very comfy bed. The house is in a super location, a few minutes walk to the centre of Newmarket where there are ample pubs and places to eat. I’d definatly look to stay there again when I’m next working in Newmarket. Thanks Caroline.

I stayed one week at Kay and John's place. They have a beautiful house in Waterbeach in a very quiet area just 10 minutes from Cambridge with the train. The room is big and lovely with a comfy bed. The hosts helped me with anything I need and also with my luggages the day before the check-in! Really appreciated. There is also a dog in the house but is clean and very friendly, you are gonna miss him like I do.

This is a warm and comfortable house. Landlord Kay warmhearted and personality is bright. she is often provide useful information. Stiil there is important breakfast for you. she answer any questions carefully.

Tatyana's place is a great location if you want to explore Cambridgeshire. It's very close to the train station and so you can go on trips to Ely, Cambridge and other places very easily (be sure to check the train stops in Waterbeach as not all do but it's still quite regular). The house was very clean and airy. I found the house to be quiet and on a very quiet safe cul de sac, even though an extremely busy road is near I wasn't able to hear the traffic. I didn't see much of Tatyana but she was friendly. Waterbeach is a lovely little village and I found people friendly - I wish I'd had time to explore it more as I was out in Ely a lot. I would stay again.

Tatyana is a lovely and kind hostess. The house is well kept and warm. All the amenities needed for a pleasant stay are offered as soon as you walk through the door. The room is comfortable with reliable internet access. The house is well located right next to Waterbeach rail station, as well as local shops and bus routes to town no.2 and 9. I had an enjoyable stay in a picturesque part of Cambridge, with easy access to central Cambridge. I look forward to staying again whenever I travel to Cambridge.

Tatyana is a kind and accommodating host. Everything needed for a pleasant stay is offered as soon as you walk through the door. I had a pleasant stay in a picturesque part of Cambridge and look forward to staying again in the near future when my travels lead me back to Cambridge.

I only stayed for one night, but Debby is a great host who is welcoming and friendly. The room was very comfortable, clean and as described. Although there is no room for parking directly outside, I was able to park in a large car park very close by for free. Overall a very nice stay.

You'll NEVER disappoint at this lovely detached house with lots of character. It's really indeed my dream house for everything of British details, spacious and clean, books, big fireplace, church pews, elegant chairs, timber beam, flowers, piano, big antique clock, cats, dogs, beautiful rear yard......eggs from the home hens (hope try it in the future). BTW there is a brilliant public pathfoot way wandering in the vast flat fields from Stretham to Little Thetford (to Ely).

We stayed at Brigida’s place while were were waiting to move into our new home near Cambridge. Great house in a great location, easy to explore Cambridge and the surrounding areas. There is a Park and Ride close by for access to the City of Cambridge. And although we didn’t end up going there there is a pub serving food and drinks within walking distance of the property. As we were there during the run up to Christmas we were able to visit Anglesey Abbey when they had their Christmas lights display, well worth a visit and also a short walk away.

Of 5 my Airbnb UK bookings, Janet's is the most comfortable, warm, spacious and clean home. If there were so-called 5 stars standards, I'd like to say Janet's is definitely above it. The house is located at a quiet cul-de-sac road. There are squirrels and magpies in the rear yard. Janet is vey nice. She drove me to the bus station when it was cold and rainy. It's rather relaxing, safe and peaceful home, not to mention the well-equipped kitchen. I booked a longer stay without hesitation. BTW Newmarket as the racing headquarters is quite worth exploring. It offers opportunity for me to explore something behind the racing's headquarters with its racecourses, training fields, horse stables are accessible by walks. A town with jockeys' stories, fascinating hostory, heritage and unique culture.

Had a great time spending 3 nights at Csabas home He was kind enough to let me check in early and check out late and responded very quickly to my message requests had the house to myself would have no hesitation in recommending his home for short or long stays

Csaba is exceptionally welcoming, very attentive to your best experience, and goes out of the way to be best host imaginable. He turns his home into your home from which to enjoy Cambridgeshire. If you are bike cycling, Waterbeach has the best route into Cambridge on the River Cam, as well as all the other points of interest. By auto the Park and Ride is only minutes away. The train station is a comfortable 15 minute walk with frequent trains. There's even a bus just around the corner but check the evening schedule.

Quiet place to relax and within easy travelling distance of Milton park and ride to explore Cambridge and surrounding areas. Host responded very quickly to messages and helpful with tips and information about area. The host vacated for the weekend so I had the whole of the ground floor to myself which was lovely. Steve’s property was in a great, quiet location. It was very clean and tidy and the room was much bigger than expected. Amazing facilities and very clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this property to anybody looking for a stay in this area.

Excellent, modern, spacious facilities. Steve is not on site and entrance is by way of the front door of the house and keys in an adjacent locked box. Had I not visited the premises before check in time to get my bearings, I may have had problems. The property is tucked away at the end of a drive partially obscured by trees. I had one nights stay - this was perfect for my needs.

Stayed at Steve’s for 8 weeks while doing a training course with the ambulance service. Location was great it’s 10/15 minutes from Newmarket town centre and 25/30 from Cambridge. Facilities were good, I had the room at the top of the stairs towards the back. It had a on suit and walk in wardrobe. Steve’s wife (I think she was) brought a washing basket as we was here for a long stay. Only downside is the bedsheets weren’t changed every week, there was a bit of noise from the construction site next door and the carpark is made out of gravel/stones. However the house is lovely, big communal areas, big garden, all the amenities you need for long/short stay. I would definitely stay at Steve’s again in the future.

We had a lovely stay in Larry’s chic apartment, lots of home touches to make us feel extremely welcome and relaxed. In the morning we had a beautiful stroll of the land and spent some time along the river, would be glorious in the summer!

A really lovely spot and probably the best air b and b welcome i've every had! Beautiful views and a really comfortable space with loads of thoughtful touches. Would have been great to spend more time there and would recommend to anyone! Thanks Larry, we hope to come back and stay some time.

This is a great little hideaway for a romantic break, with a stylish bath and big, cosy bed. Beautiful countryside surrounding and very close to the lovely Anglesey Abbey, which is well worth a look. The hosts, Larry and Nicky, make you feel so welcome and are really accommodating. We had foolishly brought a load of cook in the oven food without checking, and they cooked it for us in their own kitchen! Lovely little touches like fresh eggs from their hens, bread, milk and some much appreciated wine were there for us upon arrival. We were there during a storm and it was a great place to cosy up in, but we look forward to going back in warmer weather to enjoy the little outdoor terrace.

Lovely, lovely, lovely. A charming escape for two and with a lovely welcoming pack you feel looked after upon arrival then can relax in the tranquil surroundings.

Nice space and really great having 2 bathrooms. Really close to the centre of town and delivered everything we needed!

Great house With everything you might need, about 15 mins from Main Street. The stairs up to second floor are a bit narrow and steep, perhaps not suitable for elderly people, (one bedroom downstairs). For us, this place was Perfect, and we are renting this plase again!

Great place to stay in Newmarket, close to the racecourse and town centre. Worked out good value for 4 of us staying for a Christmas party. Very clean and tea, coffee, breakfast bits all included. Would definitely recommend!

Me and my family stayed here and we all loved this beautiful air bnb. It’s very stylish, clean and comfortable. Lots of lovely little touches including tea and crisps! I’d definitely stay here again and totally recommend it. Tesco not too far away and a little coop walking distance. We did also walk once into town from here although is a bit of a walk. Thank you for making the stay so lovely for us

Jane's house is clean, clear and comfortable and she answered quickly all my askes. Just one note about public transports - that is not Jane responsibility: it's important be careful about bus and train timeline.

I can recommend Jane's place - I've stayed multiple times. There's a very comfortable bed, good shower and it's very quiet at night. Also handy for the train station or drive to the science park. You'll probably find it's already booked up !

Janet's place is in a great location for anyone who needs the train to and from Cambridge. The room advertised is spacious and sunny with a lovely double bed. Janet is very friendly and always open to a chat. I would recommend her place to anyone.
