The Sundial in Montefioralle

In the village of Montefioralle, the Meridiana, the charm of historic homes. In front of one of the ancient castle gates, the house is part of the medieval castle. On the ground floor you will find the kitchen, the dining room with a large fireplace, a sitting area and the ancient vaulted cellar, on the first floor the two double bedrooms, the bathroom, a living room/study and the garden with table and chairs where you can spend pleasant evenings. Panzano is famous for its wines: Chianti Classico and Super Tuscan. There are 22 farms a few kilometers away that offer visits to the cellars and tastings of their wines and oil. The apartment is a short walk from the Coop Supermarket, Pharmacy and town center.

The Tower was created in the late 1800s by an illustrious Englishman, Sir John Temple Leader, in one of the oldest and most important stone quarries belonging to the Medici family. From the same quarry were extracted many important works such as the columns of the Medici chapels, the steps of the Laurenziana library .. all just 5 km from the historic center of Florence.
