Beautiful, cozy cottage located on owner's property. Surrounded by lakes (however not on one), world-class golf, towering pine trees and amazing restaurants and shopping. You will have the cottage to yourself. There is a private bedroom with a queen bed, also a full bath. The living room sofa pulls out to sleep two more. We are walking distance to Pequot Lakes, and just a 10 minute drive to Breezy Point or Nisswa for an amazing shopping experience. We welcome friendly, fully vetted dogs.

There's a queen bed on the main floor bedroom and a queen bed in the loft bedroom. WIFI/ cable television are available. Can sleep with the windows open or use the air conditioning. Outdoor pets are welcome, no pets inside please. You will have a view of the pond & we see deer on a daily basis. We will supply bedding, bath towels, cooking utensils, plates, cups & silverware.

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

Our LOTR themed treehouse has been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio.
