  • My wife and I, along with our two daughters (ages 7 and 3), just returned from a weekend at Josh's place and were beyond happy with the experience. Based on the photos and reviews, we went in with high expectations, but those were far exceeded by the end of our trip. The cottage is beautifully decorated and features an impressive balance of "vibes" between rustic and high-end. Josh and Danielle have made the absolute most of the space, whereby it feels like you have a ton of room in what is actually not much square footage. We unfortunately encountered horrible weather during our stay (cold temps, rain, wind) but still managed to have an amazing time. We can't wait to return, under more favorable conditions, to take advantage of the many perks we missed out on this time, including the paddleboat, the fishing, the grill, and the firepit. Kudos to Josh and Danielle for not only pouring their all into this property but to also being excellent hosts. This place gets a high recommend from me.

  • If you are looking for something cozy, with beautiful and thoughtful touches, comfortable at an affordable price this is the place! The setting is so beautiful and serene. I just love the out door bathtub!!

  • This is a perfect place for a get away trip, I will indeed be back during the summer time.

  • This place is amazing 🌟- a perfect escape from city life for our family (husband, wife, and one year old). We are already planning our next trip back!

    Leah2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent space for romantic getaway! Very quiet area to rest, recharge, and recoup. Outdoor bathtub on a decorative lighted porch, overlooking a small pond. I was here solo for work, but all I could think about was how much my girlfriend and I would love this. I stayed in the cottage. I love the open shower concept. Cozy feel inside. Please note there are two beds in the loft which requires climbing a nearly vertical ladder (quite fun, in my opinion). Back porch is great for looking at the pond, grazing cattle, and the lovely Missouri landscape. Josh and Danielle are helpful if needed and respectful of your space. I cannot wait to share this space with my loved one!

Beautiful farm Silo with original exterior TOTALLY NEW boho, industrial, farmhouse, luxury, chic interior design style! Perfect for ANYONE!! The Silo is located on 5 private acres with a double decker deck overlooking the water! This house makes the ultimate escape! SO many close off property activities as well!
The uniqueness and beauty is endless from custom brick walls, 100 year old logs, custom architectural ceiling, to a large walk in marble shower! And it doesn't stop there.. two story deck over a new pond with over hanging hammock, two swings, and a claw foot tub.. you have so much to take in!!
Rural country side but a short drive to dinning and entertainment!
  • The Silo was a perfect quiet weekend retreat for my family (myself, husband, 10y/o daughter). The space was so beautifully designed - a perfect mix between modern and rustic. While we didn't have the best weather (rainy and chilly!) the deck, swings, and over-water hammock, were still amazing! Whether coming from further, or just the STL area like us -- this is a perfect place to unwind, read, watch movies, play board games, and cook some good meals - this is a perfect (and really cool!) space.

    Evan2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • The silo is by far the most unique Airbnb I have stayed at. It was perfect. My husband and I wanted to get away and relax and that just what we did. The views are amazing, you have everything you need to cook, the bed is so comfortable and both balconies are so dreamy. Can’t wait to return for other seasons.

Loft was amazing with views out windows lots of light. 2 tier Deck was also unique with swings, built in hammock & great spot to watch sunsets with reflections over water. Very likely to return, also other Airbnb property looks very interesting as well.

Yard is over an acre in city of DeSoto great place to view eclipse. This bedroom has a full size bed. The bathroom is down the hall but not shared. The house has three other bedrooms and there may be other guests in the home. Several State parks are located close by and Missouri’s great canoeing rivers are within a hour drive. The St. Louis Arch is about 38 miles to the north on Interstate 55 and Forrest Park and Zoo is 40 miles away. The new aquarium is now open at Union Station along with the massive Ferris wheel. A great time to see the beautiful Ozarks especially with Fall colors.

Numerous spring-fed rivers, state parks, historic sites and other hidden gems are all perched nearby (will brief you on all of them on your arrival). • Everything about this place was wonderful. I will highlight my favorite parts about this amazing little cottage. I have no complaints and can't wait to come back again. -hosts were friendly, informative, and dependable. -perfect for couples -the cottage was very clean. -kitchen had all kinds of utensils, pots, pans, and dishes. Everything you would need to cook. -cottage is next to their house but it's positioned in a way that you feel a total sense of privacy! -they left us a goody basket with wine and crackers and a smores kit. In the fridge they left home made kombucha, farm fresh eggs, and butter. -bed was cozy, with lots of pillows and nice plush linen. -the hot tub was amazing, I love that they don't use chlorine. Being nude in a hot tub is the way to go!!! -KORA THE DOG IS ADORABLE AND WILL FOLLOW YOU ON THEIR TRAILS! SO CUTE!! -they left us a guide book with maps and locations of the best hiking places around. The book helped us plan our hiking trips so well. -Just overall amazing people and property. Highly recommended!

  • The treetop escape is a wonderful, serene and relaxing. All the extras they put into the place really makes it inviting. They give great recommendations for hikes and we cannot thank them enough for dealing with our crazy beagle who somehow forget her name when she was called. The trail is great to take at night and go star gazing. We definitely would love to go back some time to find the peace and hospitality the ozarks and Benka and Keith offered.

We are down a road that ends at our place, it's private, quiet and incredible. You will pass our neighbors super neat Highland cows and the biggest one is Clarence, he has the horns the size of Texas. We are an hour from Meramec Caverns, Elephant Rock State park and Johnson Shut ins. You can drive 15 minutes and rent a canoe or kayak on the Meramec River just down the road. Lewis's cafe in St. Clair is known for their pies and it was built I think in the 50's.
  • This cute a frame is out of the normal stay. But you will be pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the owner and the beauty of being away from the rest of the world. You can enjoy the world around you with out the noise of your phones and computers and technology. Love on nature a little and enjoy the silence with a little crow of the chickens here and there.

    Talia2019-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful time (though short) here in the A-Frame on the Magic Land. This rustic, creatively staged cabin is the perfect getaway to reset your soul. The land surrounding it has an aura of introspection and gently nudges you into a zen state of mind. It felt like second nature to just be still and quiet, the entire time is stayed. I didn’t get as much of a chance to visit with the animals, but their calm presence was heard and felt wherever I roamed. This will be my go-to when I need another reset. Thank you Laura Lynne, for having this wonderful and peaceful place to visit!

  • Words can't express it; and if you expect it... you won't appreciate it as much. I went in not knowing what to expect... and I'm glad of it.

    Mark2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Upon arrival we were welcomed by countless chickens, ducks and turkeys. They really rolled out the welcome wagon! As we were unloading the vehicle Skeeter the Salt and pepper beagle guided us to our cabin. Even with all of the animals, including goals, we did not have any issues with poop on the grounds! We expected to battle against mosquitoes throughout our stay but surprisingly we didn’t see a single one. The lake was peaceful and the dogs were always nearby keeping us company, without being invasive. Laura was very thoughtful in the way she prepared the rooms, we appreciated the games, and the “ Oops I forgot my…” box. The treehouse also had a really cool set up. The overall trip was very peaceful and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We even caught a bass! Thanks Laura for being such a thoughtful host!

  • Truly the most relaxing and magical weekend I’ve ever had. Loved being greeted and guided by all the animals. Make time for a morning sunrise and a campfire under the stars. Laura Lynn made the A Frame feel like home. I can’t wait to come back!

They cook the most delicious meals and the massages are the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot lol) I cannot express how amazing this getaway is❣️❣️❣️!

  • I experienced this trip with my partner and another couple. It was our first time being in an outdoor setting. It was a bit colder than we thought it would be but i am so grateful that I read the instructions from Benka and Keith. They truly thought of EVERYTHING you could possibly need for this experience. We got to experience a little wildlife which was awesome! The space was clean upon arrival. Keith gave us a tour of everything and gave great site seeing suggestions. Benka gave the warmest hugs. It all felt like we were family and that was just the icing on the cake. Honestly, nothing i say here could truly grasp what the experience was like. Reading was definitely fundamental and made this experience so much more special. Thank you again Benka &Keith. This will be a memory we cherish forever.

  • We purchased this stay for our daughter and her fiance as a Christmas present which they used for Valentine's Day weekend. They said it was the best Christmas present that have ever received and plan on making return trips as their VD tradition. Communication was seamless and their stories and pictures sound like an oasis! My daughter cannot stop gushing over the coffee, picnic lunch, and private use of the spa!! I cannot wait to experience it myself. In addition, Benka went above and beyond in her communication and staying up late to ensure the place was perfect (fire going and candles lit) upon my daughter's later-than-anticipated arrival. Thank you so much!

    Jamie2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time in the tee-pee. Benka and Keith had a lot of thoughtful touches and went out of their way to greet us and make us feel welcome. Would definitely recommend!!

    Nikki2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • The entire grounds were beautiful and peaceful. We had privacy the entire weekend and yet also knew they were taking care of everything. It was everything we wanted and needed, and not only would we love to go back but we will recommend it to everyone!

    Joseph2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice place on some very nice land- if staying in the winter, getting out of the heated beds is about one of the harder things I had to do on my trip. Lots of personal touches everywhere, extremely cozy and comfy.

  • We stayed one night at Liz’s place on a quick visit to St. Louis and it was the perfect budget place for us to stay. It is a bit outside of the city (~25 min) but we knew that before we booked and didn’t mind the drive! The hosts were super nice, their two dogs were super cute, and the place was very clean, very quiet, and very comfortable!

Our tiny house is a cozy 600 sq ft open concept layout. It is surrounded by 10 acres of woods & fields. Our deck is nestled in the woods and a perfect area to relax in the hammock and listen to nature. We have a fire pit and comfortable Adirondack chairs to relax in. ***DISCLAIMER!!! There is NO wifi on purpose & by design. The AC/Heat unit can make an annoying noise. It can be drowned out by the box fan. You are in the middle of the woods. You may encounter wasps, spiders, horse flys, bugs etc. Lots of woods to go hiking in our bring your bikes for a country cruise. Local wineries only 30 to 40 minutes away. Bonne Terre is only 12 miles away for dining out, Bonne Terre mines and other amenities. No wifi.... on purpose but We have a large DVD collection, books for reading, cards & dominos to stay in and relax.
Quiet road, tiny home nestled on the back of the property hidden from the road. Beautiful Winery, The Terrace is always a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.
  • This was the perfect cozy cabin weekend. We will definitely be back to stay and go trout fish during the day. Loved it!

  • Very cool and efficient space to stay at if you’re in the area. Would highly recommend and will definitely consider staying again next time I’m in the area!

    Colin2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had the best weekend at Carisa’s Tiny House! The house and the property were so beautiful. We had a fire both night and listened to music. We hiked Pickle springs on Saturday which was also breath taking. DVD collection was awesome and the house had everything we needed! Cannot say enough good things about our weekend! I have already recommended the house to 2 friends! The ONLY thing... it was pretty chilly for the first 24 hours we were there until the heaters really kicked in but we snuggled lol 😂

    Kakie2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • GREAT location. Secluded in the woods. Very private and quite. Great place to unwind and relax. Wonderful deck overlooking woods. A very unique experience. You must try it. My wife and I had a wonderful time.

  • This is a great spot for a weekend getaway. I love getting out of the city and into nature and I was really blown away by just how beautiful the property is. The big kitchen window is incredible! We spent one of the days hiking and visiting wineries and it was great to have a cozy place to come home to in the area. Highly recommend staying here.

    Maggie2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Quaint but nice cabin! Great for a getaway to be away from the city

    Munan2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Carisa's place was a wonderful, relaxing getaway. She was very quick to respond and her home was even more beautiful than the pictures!

    Ewa2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • So very enjoyable to stay in a simple space with such a smart design. The spot is quiet, isolated, calm, and relaxing. So nice that there's not much reason to leave the clean porch that holds you directly in the trees. (If you do want to check out some surrounding attractions, be sure to call. The winery was no longer in existence when we were there. ) We were glad that we downloaded music in advance because our cell service, Tmobile, fluctuated from weak to no service while at the Airbnb. Carissa was very helpful and always kind. She was almost instant in her communication which always makes me feel more connected. Hope you enjoy

This lakefront home is fully furnished, super comfortable, has a tv with blue ray and can comfortably sleep 8. The views from the master bedroom, dining room, living room and two decks are utterly amazing. Has a gas grill, as well as a washer and dryer. While we do not have a dock, the home does still have stairs down to and direct access to the lake. The home is great for entertaining with a kitchen that opens to the main living area which all face the water and sunsets. There are 2 decks
Great for entertaining with lake views from almost every room and deck access from living room and master

Cozy, open living, and a beautiful view awaits you here in Gobbler Hollow. This is an upstairs apartment located in Pevely (Right outside of St Louis) Our property sits on 10.5 acres with minimal neighbors. We live on the main floor, but the space is completely separate with its own entrance and amenities. We do not allow pets as we have 2 dogs. There is some noise in the area on Summer Saturday nights because of the race track.
We have a nice comfy couch, a big 60" TV, a large eat in kitchen, and a sweet view. We are kind of secluded from the city! I have a queen bed, a twin and full bunk bed.
We love this area. Its quiet and close to EVERYTHING but you aren't right in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city. Close enough to get anywhere in under 20 minutes but far enough away to not hear much. If its a summer, Saturday Night in Pevely, you will hear the race cars! We are about 30 min from downtown St Louis.
  • What a great rental! Super cute, nice two-bedroom, full kitchen, great decor, very comfy and felt like home. Host was a great communicator and everything went smoothly.

  • We had a lovely stay at Thomas’s place. Their communication with us was great. We got there late so the self check in (and self check out for that matter) worked perfect. The house was clean and had all the amenities we could need. The hammock in the moon tower is a fun feature as well as the fire pit (but we did not have a chance to enjoy that). Would definitely recommend.

Always have hiking shoes, flip flops or slippers for the Treehouse since we are a shoe-less space, rubber boots to walk the creek or if it’s muddy, HEADLAMP, snacks, suntan lotion, bug spray, FLASHLIGHTS and changes of clothes and did I say FLASHLIGHT? DO NOT RELY ON YOUR CELL PHONE, they don’t have great service here and your battery will drain fast searching for it. Buy a HEADLAMP on your way or at the gas station. You must be able to see on trails at night as we have uneven ground, snakes and bugs. EASY ACCESS: Parking is Free. You may unload your vehicle in the road just off the Tree House, then park in a parking lot a short distance away. NATURE CONNECTION: It's like a mini house in the trees. Especially if you are not a camping kind of person you will feel at home. Every view out 25 ways to look out is picturesque, so you feel lots of contact with nature. We do our best to keep the animal/bug encounters and to a minimum as we spray. Some times of the year we have more nature inside. Be mindful as Missouri has poisonous snakes, spiders, ticks, butterflies and beautiful birds just like in your backyard. We are in the wilderness. This is where reality exists, so be alert as you are walking always bring a good LED flashlight. There are times of the year wasps are active so we provide bug spray and a vacuum. Some times we avoid sleeping in the Lover's Nook. DRINKING & DRUGS – We never allow drug use on the property - natural or synthetic. We ask that if you need to drink, please be very careful as the stairs are steep and staying alert in the country is wisdom. You will find a natural high here on The Magic Land, so allow yourself to be present to the gifts and what your soul wishes to tell you while you are here relaxing in Mother Nature. Try it! REJUVENATION - Our Tree house Tiny House is enchanting and adorable with everything you need to relax and let go. It's truly magical, unique and cozy. The pine forest whispers to you in the wind. Connect with nature, relax in a hammock under the trees and in the loft. Unplug from stress and social media and remember who you are. It's easy to reconnect with your heart and life purpose when your mind and body are free. Reunite with yourself, your best friends, your teenagers, family, or lover and breath. It's so peaceful, everyone looks 10 years younger when they head home. We are delighted that guests return again and again and feel better than real family where you are loved and accepted for right where you are in life. Join us. This will forever be a home away from home. INTUITIVE SESSION - Laura Lynne, Treehouse Wise Woman, offers Intuitive Life Coaching that adds to your transformational experience. The Magic Land is so quiet and relaxing that it’s a perfect place to let go of what has been blocking your progress in life. Do you need a getaway and a new perspective? Are you feeling challenged with a relationship or work issue? Laura Lynne’s powerful intuitive listening opens new doors. She is also trained in Harville Hendrix, Safe Conversations System which is a clear way to connect with your partner in a new type of communication. She is your facilitator and guides you to new places in your relationship where love is restored and peace returns. Guests return to their life with fresh ideas, joy and happiness again. GOODIES GALORE: Ask if our Big Country Breakfast is available delivered to the Treehouse for real pampering with rave reviews. It allows you to relax and you’ll be full for hours. Check seasonal pricing per person. Ask about taking home some farm fresh eggs from our 40+ free range chickens. OUT OF TOWN? Want to fly in from somewhere? You’ll need a rental car as we are 1.25 hours from Lambert International Airport in St. Louis, Missouri by rental car. Guests even take the train and we are about an hour from Kirkwood, Missouri, Amtrak Station and 55 minutes from Washington, Missouri. We have lots of people traveling through the area who make this the special part of their family vacation. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Portions of the interior are still under construction. We have siding to finish, drywall and a few outlets. It does not impact your comfort. Some exterior siding is still under construction and the main building is complete. We will add decks in the future so 2 doors should not be open as they are open to the 15' drop. EVENTS & NOISES - We have events on the Land and do our best to book the Tree Palace in quiet times. We have drum circles, potlucks, meditations and gatherings on some weekends. Many are open events and others are registered people here for a workshop. Just check in to see if it's something you may join. We are a community, with people coming and going. We have to mow, cut down trees and create firewood, do projects and sometimes due to rain it must happen while you are here so we appreciate your patience. Laura Lynne has healing and Life Coaching sessions with clients and during those times she will be unavailable. We are usually a really quiet space and cannot control if the neighbor is having a target practice day or their dog is barking. We live in the country and we have roosters who think 3 am is morning time, tree frogs sing in the spring, whippoorwills will and owls mate. It’s the enlightenment of the place that makes it super special when your open to allow and let. ABSOLUTELY NO PETS: Our sweet dogs watch over our free range animals. They LOVE people and children and loath other animals. No pets on the property, even in your car, as they are predators to our pups. We are not responsible for any animals left in your car or who enter the property. WHAT IS CLOSE? Guests who come love to hang out and stay on the land although there is a local little restaurant called The Finish Line in Lonedell, Mobile gas station called Wagner's and Dollar General all about 7 miles away. About 20 miles away is the little town of St. Clair, Missouri and heading the other direction about 21 miles you find Cedar Hill with grocery, hardware and little stores. They close around 8 pm. OTHER ATTRACTIONS: Most guests really need to relax, let their system let go and stop running so being here really restores your body, mind, heart and soul. Others want a little adventure. Here are the highlights that are nature related within and hour from The Magic Land: Meramec State Park, caves, trails, Meramec river, canoeing. Meramec River access 15 minutes away if you want to go on a float. Elephant Rock State Park, huge granite rock formations emerging from the ground. Johnson Shut Ins, a splendid place to go when it’s super hot and you want to climb through big rocks and take a dip in the spring. Zipline outside Meramec State Park. If you want museums in St. Louis City: City Museum is a fun adventurous place, the Arch, History Museum, Magic House for kids, The Science Center and more. We recommend you stay here and let loose. Your being will thank you! PRIVATE MEMBERSHIP ASSOCIATION: We do not rent to the general public, we only rent in the private sector. As you choose to stay on the Magic Land, $15 of your rental is included to join our Private Membership Association. There is nothing more you need to do other than sign our Release Form upon arrival. Thank you so much. #treehouse #tinyhouse #airbnb #Missouri #cabin #unique #fun #laugh #getaway #joy #love #beautiful #beauty #loveyoursweetheart #tranquil #peace #magicalretreat #grubville #stlouis #kansascity #chicago #arkansas #illinois #kansas #lonedell #chickens #breakfast #goat #lake #retreat #hiking #creek #unique #spring #beautiful #peaceful #relaxing #retro #reclaimed #lover #vacation #retreat #spiritual #healing #coach #lifecoach #midwest #lifecoaching #transformation #magicland #treehousewisewoman #lifecoach #couplescoaching #couples #cabininthewoods #cabin #besttreehouse #treehousemissouri #intuitivecoaching #intuitivereading #getaway #bedandbreakfast #bnb #bnbmissouri #missouribnb
We are in the country. You will drive past farms, cows, windy country roads and sunshine. We are 7 miles from the closest gas station and Dollar General. We are on 70 very private acres. Unless we are having an event, when you take a hike or fish at our 3 acre pond you will be alone except for our 5 beautiful dogs and the neighbor dog Davey and maybe some goats that follow you on a walk.
  • We were searching for an outdoorsy type getaway. I really liked the concept of a Treehouse. There are SO MANY Treehouse out there it was hard to pick. But once I saw Laura Lynne and the couple therapy she offered, I was hooked. My wife didn't know what to expect. As the date arrived, she wanted to bail and not go. Boy was she glad she did come!! Laura Lynne has this magical force that can really bring out the past to help couples learn how to understand each other in a deeper way. Much more than counseling could have ever provided us. Her intuitive one on one sessions helped my wife learn how to dig deep within herself. She just has this infectious smile and beautiful personality that cracks the toughest of characters. If you stay, make sure you upgrade to the breakfast which she personally makes and delivers. She rings her bell as she approaches. All prices are listed on the kitchen table. If you don't see a price, ask her. She is very open and just loving. I highly recommend this get-a-way. We will definitely be coming back! ❤️

  • The treehouse is a magical place, where you can relax, get back to nature, and feel a deep sense of joy, peace, and relaxation. I had the most wonderful massage Friday night! We came to celebrate my daughters 12th birthday, after celebrating her 11th here last year. We love the animals so very much. Sunshine guarded the treehouse all night. I believe the neighbor dog, Davie, is a kindred spirit. When the girls went outside in the morning, a parade of goats, chickens, turkeys, geese, and dogs marched across the yard to join them. I spent a few relaxing hours sitting outside the treehouse in my nightgown watching the chickens and turkeys and drinking coffee. Much better than tv. My daughter and I explored the grounds and had a nice, quiet time sitting near the creek listening to the water play over the rocks. Just thinking about it makes me feel relaxed all over again. We are already planning our next visit.

  • This was a very authentic experience for me. While there it rained and the sound with the rain on the tin roof was very therapeutic. I probably slept better than I ever have. I really do not want to give too much away about this place. In fact I’d love to keep this place a secret. I do not much have too much to add on top of all of the other reviews I read before visiting other than your experience there will be exactly what you need it to be. It really does have a mystical way of doing that.

    Jennifer2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was perfect!! I just wish we would have been able to stay longer and enjoy everything there was to offer!

    Kayla2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place is truly magical from all the animals welcoming you upon arrival, to the awesome ground. So many place to sit and relax and meditate! I love the hammocks in the treehouse most! I loved sitting in the hammock chair in front of the fireplace. I also loved the hammock upstairs with the sky light. The bed was comfy too! And you must get Laura’s intuitive session on your first night it helps you to become more at peace and it is life changing. The whole experience was incredible. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get centered and wanting to find peace! I’ve never been somewhere so awesome really!

    Ddee2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • This place was magical! Loved all the animals and the treehouse was AMAZING! Wish I had more time to explore the property, I would definitely come back! Laura was a fantastic host and very helpful, made the experience that more special.

  • Truly a magical place. So many thoughtful touches, the animals are so friendly and fun, it was hard to leave. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun escape to recharge. We made it a girls weekend for my daughters birthday party and it could not have been more fun or perfect.

Our place is close to parks, Bonne Terre Mines with tours and scuba diving, great dining, family activities, golf courses and country at its best. . You’ll love our place because of the new cedar barn with the luxuries of a Hotel, hiking trails, the comfy bed and pure relaxation.. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
Our place is quiet and peaceful for relaxation but surrounded by nearby activities, dining and entertainment. Our accommodations are that of a fancy Country Hotel, with all the comforts of home. :)
We recommend the Bonne Terre Mines for tours and scuba diving, also the Homestead Restaurant for buffet dining and Hubs Pub Bar and Grill. The local nighttime hotspots are Hubs Pub and Crossroads. For more hiking trails the St Francois State Park ( 15 minutes) and St Joe State Park is (20 minutes) both are a great places to enjoy that hobby.
  • Lovely lovely studio, comfy, cozy, lovely views. Great showers, coffee in the morning. Really couldn’t ask for more except time to enjoy it more. We went diving at Bonne Terre so were on the go but it was a great space. I thought we should come back more than once

  • Karon is amazing. My Grandfather had died and his funeral was right before Thanksgiving and she graciously allowed my Dad to stay at this beautiful, tranquil air b n b which is very close to my grandparents home. The home made bread and snacks was such a sweet added touch of hospitality. She and her wonderful husband even came to my grandfathers viewing. The vibe of turkey holler is so reflective of its owners: peaceful, warm and inviting...a retreat. Thank you Karon for a home away from home during a difficult time.

    Keith2019-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • Karon’s place was great and we had a wonderful stay.

  • What a great place to stay and relax. The place was spotless and such great decor. It was everything we were hoping for in a relaxing getaway away from the hustle and bustle and routines of our lives. Would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for a fun relaxing getaway.

    Jason2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Turkey Holler will not disappoint! It is a beautiful place to stay, and has wonderful hosts. The homemade bread that was waiting for us when we arrived was a special treat! The room was decorated beautifully, and had all the amenities you could need. Karon and John were helpful getting us settled in and gave great suggestions on places to visit in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Turkey Holler!

    Amanda2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • The Bed and Breakfast at Turkey Holler is a lovely place to stay. Karon makes you feel as if you are a friend or family member that she is welcoming into her home! It is so beautiful, comfortable and clean! I could not have asked for a better place to stay to attend my class reunion which was held there and was the perfect venue! The home baked bread was delicious and all the food and drink offerings were so thoughtful! It was really overall an awesome experience!

    Rebecca2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • You will not be disappointed! This place is beautifully maintained and Karon and John were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The place is super clean and has nice amenities. I would highly recommend staying here.

This house was built in 1870, it is a stone structure and was used as a family farm home. It has been remodeled for its use today. It is historically correct, which includes antiques of the time. Post Civil War era, furniture including the beds of this period. Another interesting aspect, is that the floors are all original. Mattresses, blankets pillows, bedding and towels are all new.
Inside sound system allows you to blue tooth sound into 3 different rooms and both rear deck areas. The TV can also be listened to through any speaker outlet. Pool table is located in lower level as well as 54” TV with fire stick.
This is a country setting, there are some wineries and micro breweries located to the south. This is the farm house that operated the farm, from the 19 century.
  • Stay here!!! So comfortable and clean and all the things you need for cooking. Easy drive to Ste Genevieve and the wineries and then come home and relax on the large covered back porch. Such a cool historical home that has been very thoughtfully restored. Love it all. Play pool, watch a movie, sit and relax. I would come back here again if I am in the area!

    Candice2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Funk’s Inn is a beautiful property with unique and thoughtful touches that made it a perfect weekend get away. Back rooms overlook a field and house is down a quiet country road. Period decorations and history of house give special touch. Beds and heaters extremely comfortable in November, and Lance stocked the kitchen with lots of extras. One of the best Airbnb experiences I have had!

    Evelyn Wright2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Hello, Lance. Thanks for a wonderful weekend at Funk’s Inn! Anyone who has an interest in history, will fall in love with this home. Your efforts to bring the stone house back to its origins in 1870 are evident everywhere one turns. Staying here is definitely living history thanks to the architectural details, period furniture and artifacts. The rooms are spacious and comfortable- great for relaxing, socializing, and sharing meals. Thanks for anticipating and providing everything we could have possibly needed for a comfortable stay. Our favorite parts of the home included: the clean,well-equipped and pleasant kitchen with its artistic flair, the fun game area in the lower level (can’t wait to come back and bring the grandsons-they will love playing pool and board games there), the cozy dormer bedrooms, and the peaceful view of the farmland from the parlor and first floor bedroom. The snowfall and winter landscape were lovely; we hope to return to enjoy the view from the covered porch in warm weather. We appreciate your time answering all of our questions about the history of the home, its immigrant family, and the surrounding area. There is so much to experience nearby including Ste. Genevieve French colonial historical sites and celebrations, quaint restaurants and shops, and wine trails to unique wineries and breweries. We will definitely return. Thanks again for your hospitality!

  • Rebecca's place was sparkling clean and beautiful. The property is gorgeous and my friend and I found the room to be perfect for travelers!

    Rephayah2019-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • First and foremost, the home is extraordinarily beautiful. Rebecca was there to answer any and all questions in a matter of minutes. The hospitality was great. With it being my first time in an AirBnB, I was a bit nervous, but Rebecca was very friendly and even invited me to her family’s church. With a private entrance, I was able to come and go as I please, and I was able to enjoy visiting the area. I would highly recommend staying here! *5 STARS*

    Cassie2019-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • If Rebecca's listing has popped up in your search criteria, STOP. Search no further. The tranquil setting, amenities and immaculate condition of the home are fantastic. But the hospitality puts it over the top! I truly enjoyed Rebecca's family, and felt right "at home". You can have a cup of coffee on the pool deck while enjoying a view of timbered acres, or head into town and experience all that St. Louis has to offer (like game 7 of the Blues vs Dallas Stars Stanley Cup Division Finals!!) Unfortunately, I had to shorten my stay due to a family emergency. Rebecca's family was exceptionally caring and kind, which helped me have a much calmer trip home. My future plans include travel back to the area. I have found my new St. Louis "home" and will be booking again.

    Allison2019-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • Wow i dont know where to start! The moment we first arrived we felt very welcomed! The house is amazing and is even bigger than pictured. The room has a private entrance which is a plus. There was also just about every amenity you could ask for. Shampoo, lotion, soap/body wash, candles, air, heat, coffee, breakfast, towels, even dental picks. You name it, they have it! The hot tub was the best and they didnt mind that we used it late at night. The neighborhood is a nice quiet area. We felt welcomed from the whole family! They even invited us to their personal church for Easter Sunday which was a very nice gesture! Rebecca also was very quick to respond to any question i have. There was also a welcome book in the room that listed local restaurants. I would highly recommend for anyone!

    Diamond2019-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. Quiet, secluded and very comfortable. Thank you Rebecca for being a great host.

    Brian2019-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful people and home, which we were blessed to stay in. Rebecca was extremely helpful and communicative. She went out of her way to be helpful. The hot tub was so wonderful and soothing to our travel worn bodies. Watching the stars and listening to the quiet were huge highlights indeed. Wonderful bed/mattress. Ahhhhh. We loved all the many special touches, and meeting Rebecca's interesting, gentle and kind parents, and nice cat. Even a lavender scented candle, and delicious muffins, coffee and apples in the morning. Lots of privacy and peacefulness. And much beauty. Thank you Rebecca!! Lisa and Leibl

Cordia Cottage is located on a quiet street in a charming small town. The home is completely remodeled with updated decor and modern bathrooms. It features a large backyard deck for a peaceful evening dinner or reading spot. Potosi is home to many chic antique stores and boutiques, vineyards, and the Mark Twain National Forest. It’s host to many of the finest hiking, biking, or horseback riding trails in the state, and minutes away from Missouri’s picturesque waterways.
The Cordia Cottage is near some of the premier hiking trails, parks, and outdoor recreation areas in southeastern portion of Missouri. Potosi hosts various boutiques, local vineyards, and farmer’s market.
  • What a cute and homey place to stay when in Potosi. We needed a place to stay while attending the county fair and didn’t disappoint. We felt like we came home after the fair, and had everything we needed including a comfy back patio to relax, we will be back

    Ron2019-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay. Great location near a lot of cool antique shops and a very clean place. Made us homemade bread and jelly which was amazing and was in touch of we needed anything thing. Wonderful place, would stay again for sure and I recommend this to anybody looking to stay in that area!!

    Bradley2019-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic Airbnb experience! Judith was responsive to text messages and very communicative. The house is great - it's been renovated and we were impressed. The house was perfect for what we needed - a place to stay that was safe and quiet for our family (myself, husband and young daughter) located on the way between Farmington and Springfield. She left us a loaf of fresh bread and some jelly - we did not have any but it was a friendly down-home touch that made us feel very welcome. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet - which means that all of us got a great night's sleep. The house is only a mile away from a few different options for breakfast so I was able to pick something up quickly and bring it back to the house so we could eat and get on the road in the morning. Ours was a quick visit but I would definitely stay again!

  • This place is fantastic; I don't really want to say that because I want to keep this gem to myself! Four adults stayed here comfortably. The two bedrooms with attached baths aren't right next to eachother but separated by the kitchen and living room. A train is mentioned in the listing, we saw, rather than heard them. Plenty of coffee, soap, shampoo, towels. Very clean. The wifi works great, didn't get a chance to try tv/Netflix. A deer ran thru the backyard. Bryan has excellent communication skills. He upgraded the full size bed to a queen size the day of our arrival. How great is that? We will stay here again when we're in St Louis. This place is a keeper.

  • Dee has a lovely home complete with a cute beagle named Molly. The bedroom I stayed in was clean and nicely decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. I slept like a rock in it! The bathroom is shared with others, but that was not a problem. Dee is a friendly hostess and invited me to visit with her, but was also understanding of a tired traveler's need to just be alone and go to be early. I look forward to staying with Dee again in the future sometime!

  • Very clean, cute place that is very close to attractions. Dee was very responsive and made sure we had a great stay.

  • Place was very unique in regards to location, near by activities, really cute and cozy. It felt like a really happy home and was lovely. Dee went above and beyond to keep the newly weds happy. I spent 2 days here and by far the most welcoming place I have had on my honeymoon and dee has such a kind heart. I can go on and on about how amazing her and Molly are but I'll let you experience it first hand! ❤️❤️ loved it!!!!!!!!

  • We loved our stay. Quiet, spacious. Very, very clean. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash was provided-a nice touch. I wish I could rate ‘communication’ higher. He answered every question clearly and quickly. We will return when we visit St Loius again.

    Jennifer2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This location was so great for us because it is located before you get to St. Louis in Arnold. We were going to Hidden Valley Ski Resort, which is west of this location and only about a 25 minute drive. There is lots of places to eat close by this location. The beds were very comfortable and it has all we needed. We never saw the owners but they are very quick with any response to questions. Finding it and getting in was a breeze. We would definitely recommend this Air BNB to anyone traveling to this area. We also drove into St. Louis and it was about a 40 minute drive.

  • Outstanding service, very quick to respond. Floyd was very accommodating to all of our needs. If you’re in the area this is a must stay!

    Matthew2020-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great experience. Floyd and Karen were very hospitable and were excellent communicators. The space was clean and cozy and perfect for our family; plenty of room to spread out. The ability to use a washer and dryer was very helpful. Our son enjoyed the outdoor play area.

    Allyson2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • As a traveling nurse, Floyd and Karen’s place was perfect! It had all the essentials, including a private washer and dryer, as well as thoughtful touches like Tupperware to take meals to work. It is in a quiet neighborhood, and the hosts go out of their way to reduce noise for third shift workers. I would say that the only downside to staying at Stewart Acres is that after sleeping in their super comfy king bed for 3 months, coming home to my memory foam queen bed is a real let down. I will definitely be requesting to stay with Floyd and Karen again if I’m back in the area!

    Charity2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Floyd and his wife are very thoughtful hosts. Everything we could have possibly needed was in the apartment, from toiletries to laundry detergent, although we brought our own because we were staying a month for work. We enjoyed Floyd’s place so much that we booked for another 2 months while working at a local hospital. It’s a very safe, quiet and clean location. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

    Charity2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Overall great experience. Exactly as described in ad, nice area a perfect distance from the city to have a nice quiet, private place to stay.

    Bailey2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Floyd’s place was great just as we expected! We had a great time and a great place to stay!

  • Great loft with a very cool vibe! This loft belongs in NYC or Chicago! Really fast response times and overall a great place to stay!

  • We know Shelbie and knew she would be a great host but she went above and beyond. She allowed us to check in early to accommodate hair and makeup appointments for the day of my wedding. She would have made any additional accommodations, but none were needed. Everything was true to description. Surrounded by great local restaurants and activities. This place is a hidden gem in Festus and an easy 30 minute drive to St. Louis. You won’t be disappointed staying here!

    Danielle2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • The Loft is an awesome space on quaint Festus Main St that would be great for a couple on a getaway, a girls’ weekend, or extra space when more than you expected say they are coming for the holidays. It has everything you need to feel right at home. Shelbie was so easy to work with! Questions were answered quickly and she always found a way to say “yes!” I live in Festus and would recommend this space to those who live here as well as those traveling to or through Festus!

    Barb2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Communication was very great from beginning to end, the loft is absolutely gorgeous and it is in walking distance from great coffee, lunch and dinner locations. I will be booking again!

  • We were visiting family in the area so we chose this airbnb. It looked nice and the price was great. When we arrived, we were happily surprised that the photos did NOT do it justice! The apartment is quite spacious and tastefully furnished. It was spotless as well. Beds were extremely comfortable as was the couch. We will happily stay here again! Jonathan is the perfect host...readily available but let's you enjoy your stay. I can't say enough about how pleased we were!

    Kay2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • We were in the area for business and family but I think I'd choose Jonathan's place for a getaway regardless of proximity. Just lovely. Thank you!

    Tori2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Nice space. Right in town. Super clean & spacious.

    Roland2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • What an adorable place. Everything was perfect and more than met our expectations. I was a little dismayed and embarrassed the girls used the entire bottle of nice foaming hand soap for bubble bath 😂. We will definitely be staying here again!

  • Jonathan’s place is a great place to get away to. Layout is open and homey.

  • Very clean, great beds....close to everything in town

    Stacy2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • “Spacious” would be a better name than “cozy”. The apartment is open and airy - very pleasant. It has been newly renovated and redecorated. Sparkling clean with all new furnishings. Loved the bed - very comfortable. Jonathan was easy to reach via text and he followed up to see if everything was ok. We had a conflict on the dates of our original booking and he graciously changed it to a date that was open and worked for us. The apartment is in the older part of town on the second floor over storefronts that were closed in the evenings. Great location - it was only a five minute walk to a local restaurant. Even though is on the main street in town we didn’t notice any traffic noise. Parking in the rear was convenient to the access hall and required climbing only half a dozen steps. We look forward to staying there again the next time we plan to hike in the area.

  • This was our first experience staying in an AirBnB and it was fantastic! The apartment was so clean I didn’t have any hesitation letting my small kids play on the floor or use the bathtub. We will book this place every time we come to town now! We were so impressed!
