Hip and Cozy King Studio. In town. Across from Lifts.

This super cool condo is in the heart of it all. It's a perfect home base for everything Breck has to offer. Cross the street to the lift and afterwards: cozy up by the wood fire, jump in the hot tub (now open!), or have a margarita in the restaurant downstairs! THE UNIT: Our 390 Square foot condo is finished in a hip, mountain-contemporary style and has everything you'll need. It the perfect size for a couple or small family and includes: - King bed - Full size pull-out couch (it's pretty uncomfortable to be honest) - Eating bar - Full-size stainless-steel kitchen - Slate bathroom with shower - Wood-burning fireplace - Small balcony (sadly, no big mountain views, unit faces another building) - Wood and slate floors -Apple TV, wireless internet, cable TV BUILDING: Der Steiermark is a small, older building. It has no front desk and, frankly, the common areas lack style. Although it isn't a big fancy hotel, there are decent amenities: - Outdoor hot tub (at the base of an outdoor courtyard) - Heated, locked underground parking (one space only) - Elevator access - Best Mexican Restaurant/Bar in town: Mi Casa - A full-service ski/board/bike shop - Free wood for fireplace - Coin-operated laundry down the hall. Access to entire studio. One parking space in garage. Community hot tub open noon-9pm. Because we live in Denver, you likely won't see us. We love Breck and our condo so are available to help out as need, but we are not guaranteeing 24/7 service. The condo is located a short walk to the Quicksilver Ski Lift at Peak 9, summer hiking trails, and Breckenridge's shopping and dining on Main Street. It is in the Der Steiermark building, above a great Mexican restaurant and ski shop. You don't even need a car here. Walk to skiing, shopping, dining. The Summit Stage is a free bus that can take you to some other Summit County resorts. AWD vehicle or chains are required in winter as the driveway can get icy. $90/night is off-season weekdays. Rates vary and are up to $400/night during the holidays. Breckenridge lodging tax is included in your rate. Breckenridge Business License is current. The building is older and sound does transfer. You will hear people on the stairs in ski boots and when the trash truck comes to empty the dumpster. AWD or chains are required to access garage in winter.

Located at the base of the Tenmile Range in the Rocky Mountains, Breckenridge is the quintessential, high-altitude Colorado mountain town. Chances are if you’ve heard of Breckenridge, it’s because Breckenridge ranks as one of the best and most popular ski mountains in the world. But Breckenridge is much more than just downhill skiing. Alpine activities extend far beyond the slopes — and beyond the wintertime — with equally acclaimed mountain biking, exceptional hiking, birdwatching, scenic drives, horseback riding, rafting, and kayaking, and just about any outdoor activity you can think of that can be done in mountainous terrain. The town of Breckenridge itself is steeped in history owing to the Pikes Peak Gold Rush of 1859 (and all the mining operations that sprouted up with it), and its historical district is one of the largest and most fascinating in the state.
