We had a lovely stay at Diane’s cottage with our two children for a weekend break. It was our first visit to Northumberland and we were not disappointed with its beautiful rugged beaches and spectacular castles ! Diane's place is well equipped and in a good location to go exploring with a couple of little express supermarkets nearby to stock up on any supplies. We enjoyed collapsing by the log burner after some long walks. We will definitely be back. Thank you Diane

Di's cottage is really lovely. Warm and cosy, spotlessly clean and in a brilliant location for making the most of Amble and the Northumberland coast. Communication with Di was great, and she provided lots of ideas and tips for places to visit. We went to some great seafood restaurants just round the corner, had icecream at Spurreli's, local beer at the Cock and Bull micro pub, saw red squirrels and a vast range of birds at the Hauxley nature reserve, and a lovely walk up the coast to Alnwick via Warkworth castle. Couldn't ask for any more!

Our second time staying at Dovecote Corner and it did not disappoint! The cottage has everything you’ll need and its so cosy. Such a lovely place to stay after a long walk along the beach, the log burner is perfect!! Thanks so much to Diane for another great stay, we hope to be back in the near future and hopefully for longer next time :)

Very cosy cottage in a quiet location - well appointed and very clean. Would recommend.

This is a great quirky base to explore Amble and the surrounding areas. Di was very helpful in giving tips for dog friendly places to eat. There are nice little welcome touches like fresh milk biccies and logs for the cosy fire which you can chill in front of after a busy day walking eating and drinking. Literally a few minutes walk to the centre and harbour and lots of little gems a short walk or drive away. We have completely fallen in love with Amble and even looked on Rightmove haha. Have had a lovely 2 nights in Damian and Steph's "suite" of rooms - it is so much more than a place to spend the night! I greatly appreciated the very thoughtful touches provided in the rooms (wonderful complimentary breakfast and lots of useful toiletries!) and plenty of room to stretch out. Although in the same house, total privacy and peace is ensured, but Steph and Damian are on hand should you need anything. A very peaceful location with great access to the Northumberland coast and beautiful Alnwick. I would highly recommend this accommodation! PS...thank you for letting my dog, Roscoe, come with me!

Lovely room and facilities - made to feel very welcome. Ideally located for Almouth and Alnwick.

It was so pleasant to stay at this lovely house. The location is great and very easy to find! The room is very clean and spacious, it’s exactly the same as the picture! The heating system was very powerful, the room was definitely warm enough for a particularly cold and windy night. Damian and his wife are very friendly!! Thanks to their recommendation for the restaurant, we had a great dinner as well!! Thanks for a great stay!

Damian was very good in communication , very fast to answer our questions. The room was exactly as advertised: spacious , modern. The breakfast was basic but sufficient for us. Overall good value for money

We had such a lovely stay here, after a long drive it was so nice to arrive somewhere clean and cozy and be able to treat ourselves to a beautiful bath as well as waking up the next morning to magnificent views!!! Really friendly and accommodating hosts as well 👍

The perfect location to explore Alnwick and Northumberland. The apartment is even better than the pictures. It’s spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, has a super comfy bed and a very well equipped kitchen so we were able to self-cater. We were sad to leave and definitely hoping to return :)

We stayed at Ben’s place for 5 nights, and it was the perfect base for a few days in Northumberland. All clean, spacious, and well equipped, and nice and warm; we didn’t need to use the fire, even in a stormy, icy February! The basket of goodies, including drinks voucher for the excellent Tanners Arms next door, were much appreciated. Ideal, all round!

This was our second visit to Ben’s apartment - this time for a full week. The apartment is fabulous for a couple with lots of extra features you wouldn’t normally expect. Ben is a great host and provided some really nice extra touches. We enjoyed our second visit equally as much as our first and we will definitely be back. Thanks again Ben. Andrea and Tony

Stayed at Ben’s Hotspur House this week (27-31 Jan 20) and had an amazing stay. This Air BnB is very stylishly furnished, makes great use of the space has a very generous bedroom and lovely shower room, living room and kitchen. Ben has everything covered and responded straight away to our questions. Great location for walking and cycling and will definitely recommend to others, really great value for money. We knew the apartment would be great - but we found it amazing. A beautiful space with some very thoughtful touches. Ben was brilliant with communication and always so quick to respond to messages. The location is perfect for exploring Alnwick and surrounding areas. We can not recommend it highly enough.

Hope Terrace is a very cosy and warm house set in a small quiet street but close to local shops and transport if you don't want to drive. Ideal for exploring the local area. The house is extremely well equipped and has lots of nice touches including games, puzzles, books and DVD's for entertainment. Not forgetting the hot tub! Myself and 2 friends had a wonderful time and would highly recommend a stay at Hope Terrace.

Lovely cottage. Well maintained and really clean. The beds were super comfy. Great communication from the host and they've thought of everything. Lovely touches, like books and games, and clear instruction and information provided. Excellently equipped kitchen and the hot tub is great. Really quiet little street but very close to shops, pubs and restaurants. Great value. Highly recommended.

This is a great house in a quiet residential area ideal for exploring the local area. House was spotless and contained everything we needed - the hot tub was very much enjoyed after a days spent battling the elements! Communicarion with Chris the owner was fast and responsive Would highly recommend.

Perfect weekend getaway. Fantastic place, deceptively large home. Hot tub was perfect after a day of battling the winds on the beaches. Chris is a perfect host, especially when we managed to lock ourselves out within seconds of arriving. Will definitely come back, so much more to see and do round about, couldn't fit it all in in just two days.

Neil's place is cosy, warm, sparkling clean and perfectly located. Just a few minutes walk to the beautiful beach with wonderful walks along the Northumberland coast. The Red Lion pub next door has phenomenal food, and scotts coffee shop has excellent coffee and cake (the Bakewell tart in particular!) Easy (if infrequent!) buses take you to beautiful Alnwick and the surrounding villages. Would highly recommend! Neil was super friendly and helpful, and responded very quickly to any messages.

Clean, modern and cosy with peaceful rural views. Loved being able to walk to the beach and Scott's deli a few doors down was great for breakfast and coffee. Would love to return!

We spent 3 fantastic nights at Seafield Coach House over New Year. The accommodation was immaculately clean and was really well thought out in making use of all available space. The Coach House is smartly designed with a good mixture of modern appliances and original structure features. The view onto the estuary was stunning as is the night sky throught the velux in the snug. Location wise, it is absolutely central in Alnmouth with plenty of amenities on your doorstep. Communication with Neil was excellent and speedy. On Neil's advice, we booked dinner at Beaches on NYE and had a fantastic meal and were made to feel especially welcome by Donald and Sue, a must try in Alnmouth. We can't wait to go back!

We booked Seafield Coach House for a last minute Christmas break. It was ideal for two. The accommodation was well presented and spotlessly clean. Everything required for the stay was provided. The host Neil answered queries quickly and helpfully. The view from the kitchen/dining area is fabulous - one can sit at the small table and observe the changing tides and skies over the Aln estuary for hours...

Lovely immaculately clean apartment in the centre of Alnmouth. Perfect size for a couple or single person. Stunning views. Comfy bed. Neil was a great host- friendly, good communication and flexible with check out time (much appreciated!). Would recommend.

Lovely cosy cottage, very quiet and very close to a fab pub with good food.

This is a lovely place and we were very comfortable here when we stayed over New Year. Lovely and warm - really as much heat or as little heat as you want with very good central heating and a gas stove in the living room, comfy sofas, a great tv with lots of choice, very comfortable beds and a wonderful modern shower room with an amazing shower. I also loved the decor especially upstairs - some sea-side colours with a mixture of old and new furniture which worked really well together. We were not able to use the shared parking space (not sure if the neighbours were hogging this : )) but like other reviews, it really didn't matter about walking a little way to get to our car, you get used to it and with wonderful views of the sea to look at, it was no hardship at all. We loved Alnmouth itself, beautiful beach and pure paradise for our dog, everywhere is dog friendly and we especially liked the Sun Inn for lovely helpful staff and their excellent food.

We had a lovely stay in susan’s gorgeous cottage. The location is amazing, right in the middle of the town. It’s so nicely decorated and has lovely spaces to sit and relax. We would definitely return the next time we’re in alnmouth.

The cottage is very comfortable, and is in an excellent location, with some great places to eat and drink nearby. Lovely walks are on the doorstep, and the bus service is really handy if you don't have a car. Susan was a great host - very accommodating and helpful. Highly recommended!

This is a great house in a great location. Susan is a very kind and brilliant host, who quickly attended to any questions, she also went the extra mile for us. We came on the train and went on a great walk to Warkworth, and got around on buses to holy island(plus a walk from Beal), and Bamburgh. Alnwick is a short bus ride away and faster buses up and down the coast can be picked up. The house is brilliant we had two teenagers in the second room and one loved sleeping in the upper room. We only had four nights and wished we had more it was great coming back to a cosy clean house at the end of the day.

We were looked after very well and really enjoyed our stay . Ideal little house for our weekend break. Loved the loft bed!

Really ideal location right at the heart of alnmouth with several places to dine or get a cup of coffee. Plenty of room- living room is very cosy with the fireplace. The location was great. Alnmouth is perfect, great beaches pubs and cafes. The accomodation gives you that little bit more freedom than a traditional room in a B&B. Weĺl equipped and host available if needed. Personally would prefer a king size as it's what we're used to (but was as described).

Well positioned snug home from home, really quiet and peaceful, close to the beach with gorgeous walks for us and our dog, who was in doggy heaven.

Lovely to have a sitting room to relax in.Very friendly host and in the village centre near good pubs for dinner.

This is a charming, characterful cottage in a brilliant location. Right in the centre of Alnmouth village and a short walk to the beautiful beach. Julie is an organised and communicative host, who will give you as much or as little help as you need. The rooms are warm and homely with some stylish decorative touches. I slept well here and felt welcome and comfortable.

What a gem! Julie's house is a beautiful, tasteful, and comfortable home, gorgeously decorated and with a wonderful feel. Julie made us feel very welcome, allowing us the use of the upstairs sitting room and bathroom, with lovely touches such as tea, coffee and breakfast making facilities upstairs. She also suggested places to eat that night, and we had a wonderful stay in Alnmouth. Highly recommended!

Amazing relaxing stay at the pink house. I was a bit sceptical about staying in a room in someones house but i really didn't need to worry. We came and went as we wished with the occasional wave to John through the window. The room itself has everything you need for your stay with fresh towels, tea and coffee making facilities and even a couple of cans of G&T in the mini fridge. Location is the real reason we stayed at the pink house as we wanted to be right in the middle of Alnmouth. There are some great walking guides available in the room with good recommendations for food nearby. John and Jane were lovely and so friendly, we would definitely stay at the pink house again.

A lovely warm welcome greeted us when we arrived at John's place in Alnmouth. The bedroom and en suite were both of a good size and next door the sitting area was really handy with its mini fridge, tea making facilities and comfy seats. The whole area upstairs was warm and cosy just what was needed after a chilly day of walking on the beautiful Northumberland coast. The central position of the house is excellent for visiting the nearby pubs and restaurants, John gave us some great tips on where to go to eat (and where to avoid!) we would be keen to return if we are in the area again.

This is a gem of a place, situated in the middle of Alnmouth with stunning views over the river. The house is very quiet and very warm and comfortable. Having a private 'lounge' is a bonus. It's a self contaied wee apartment and little touches like the welcome G&T, (with ice and lemon!) biscuits, tea, coffee and milk and water in the mini fridge make it very special. John is there if you need him but happy to leave you to do your own thing. Highly recommended.

What an incredibly lovely, warm snd welcoming couple Andy and Lynn are! Highly recommended, especially if you're a runner and want to have a good running chat :). Couldn't have wished for a better place to stay overnight. Cabin is super cosy, house is lovely and the shower is possibly the best I've had in my life - but that may be trail legs talking ;). Just amazing!

Andy and Lynn’s family are just adorable, inspiring and full of positive energy! The shed itself is really clean, cosy and cute. It is actually bigger than I thought it’d be and I love every second spent in there. The location is great, only 5 mins walk from Alnmouth & 20 mins walk to the beach! Northumberland coast is just absolutely wonderful, the view from the cost is heavenly and really inspired me in loads of ways. I’m definitely coming back soon xxx

The location of the house was very convenient to connect with buses and trains. The cabin was small but warm and confortable. The decortion inside made me a feeling of being in cozy holidays. Andy and Lynn were also very friendly and kind. I very enjoyed our inspiring conversations. Hope to revisit in the future.

I stayed six nights and was very satisfied with my private space (it almost felt like glamping!) and the facilities in the house. Andy and Lynn are great hosts and wonderful people. This AirBNB is perfectly located for discovering the beauty of Northumberland.

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed, literally everything was perfect. The cottage is so warm and cosy and the location is perfect. It was an ideal base for our travels around Northumberland and great to walk down the street for drinks and food. This was our third visit to Midwood cottage which is a very convenient walking distance from Alnmouth village. The cottage is stylishly furnished comfortable and very clean. Chrisitne is a thoughtful host providing small touches such as milk tea and coffee and cake to make the cottage welcoming. She also wrote us a welcome card with suggestions of things to do some of which we followed. We would recommend Midwood cottage to any others thinking of staying in Alnmouth

Everything we needed and more. Tucked out of the way but so close to the beach. A beautiful spot that we’ll be sure to return to. Superb!

This has to be one of the most comfortable and well equipped places we have ever stayed, as well as being brilliantly located.

We were two couples sharing Johns place. The cottage is hidden away at the bottom of the village and has great views of the estuary from the modern, light and airy living space on the upper floor. The dining kitchen is very spacious and well equipped. One thing that is immediately apparent is that the place is scrupulously clean. Bedding and towels are top quality and the whole place is well thought out and very comfortable. Parking for two cars is a bonus, particularly if you want to lock up and leave the car and explore the many coastal trails from right outside the front door. John is an excellent host and keen to make sure that your holiday experience is a good one. Thank you John. We all thoroughly enjoyed our weekend.

I can’t say enough about Tin Tin. It’s beautiful. So comfortable, peaceful, superbly equipped and a great place to escape to. Communication with John was quick and clear. He is a lovely host. The location is a short walk from the beautiful beach and Alnmouth itself has everything within walking distance. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Tintin is a delightful place. It is perfectly situated for the beach and a few minutes from some lovely eating spots. The accommodation itself is superb. Sparkling clean, comfy, peaceful, spacious and stylish. Everything worked well and we had all we needed and more. It was exactly right for our small family and dog. We shall be back.

Perfect central Alnwick location. Easy to find. Great to have parking space too. Inside super cosy lounge with electric log burner, very well equipped kitchen, gorgeous bathroom and very comfy bed too. All the boxes ticked. Location great for eating out (although we just used the kitchen) and all the tourist attractions of Alnwick. We enjoyed an afternoon in Barter Books :) Just to be aware, as it’s a ground floor flat, then you will hear the comings and goings of the upstairs neighbours. We’re super quiet people so I think noticed this more than your average person. Overall a fab Airbnb home, with added bonuses of milk & wine too :)

What a glorious long weekend we spent at the Byre! A perfect location to relax, unwind and from which to explore the Northumberland coastline. The Byre is beautiful and the location is peaceful and relaxing. Rachel, the host, had thought of everything and all necessities were provided- great attention to detail and the interior is so cosy and welcoming. A great spot to explore, to rest, and (if skies are clear) stargaze! Can't wait to come back!

John and Caroline’s place is beautiful and ideal for anyone who likes a remote setting in the countryside. The accommodation is compact but luxurious, containing everything one needs for a few days, including a washer/dryer. It’s a very peaceful location yet we were easily able to get to Lindisfarne and Bamburgh castle. Highly recommended.

Lovey place, would definitely recommend. Very clean, airy and light. Very good use of space in beautiful surroundings. If you don’t have a car, book taxi’s in advance. It’s a challenge to book one at short notice, and some may not know the location of the place. All sorted in the end but a heads up to anyone staying here. John was very communicative and had added some very thoughtful touches.

Highly recommended, a beautiful accommodation with everything you would need and John left chocolates and prosecco for us which was a lovely unexpected treat.

This lovely cottage is in a fantastic location - just a few minutes walk to the beach (which you can see from the front door!) and a few lovely pubs/restaurants just down the road. The cottage is cosy and is really well equipped - there was nothing we needed that wasn't to hand. We really enjoyed our week in Alnmouth and would highly recommend the cottage for a relaxing holiday or break.

A fab place. The views are great and the beach is awesome. We spent Christmas there and loved it.

Great location. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the beautiful beach. We walked to Warkworth one day via the beach which took about an hour each way. House very comfy and spacious and the kitchen has everything you need. A bottle of prosecco upon arrival was a nice touch, plus milk in the fridge and delicious biscuits. Some nice pubs in Alnmouth, especially the Sun Inn who made us feel very welcome.

Simone's place is spacious, tastefully furnished and well equipped. Its situation on the Aln estuary is great and we particularly enjoyed evening walks to the deserted sandy beach.

Great communication and really helpful knowledge shared prior to our visit. The place was spotless! Lots of lovely, unexpected touches.. welcome treats such as a bottle of fizz, homemade cake and jam! There were lots of toys for children which was a nice surprise and kept our little one very entertained. Lots of towers and houses were built with the lego! We had a wonderful long weekend at Midwood Lodge and enjoyed this place a lot with all its lovely, thoughtful details and outstanding hospitality. We had a truly wonderful stay. Our kind hosts had left wonderful, thoughtful touches (Christmassy and other) which added so much to the experience. The cottage and location are exceptional.

Pictures don’t do this place justice it is simple stunning, and the lodge has everything you could imagine and need the welcome tray is fantastic and the fire a dream can’t recommend highly enough.

Really nice space. Tastefully done out without being fragile so great for kids. Log burner with unlimited wood provided. Fully equipped kitchen. Location is also great - about 3 minutes' walk from Almouth centre. This was our second stay here and as before the hosts had gone the extra mile with thoughtful touches like cake, biscuits and wine provided, plus handy notes left around that you find exactly as you need to find or operate something that explain exactly what you need to do or where to look. No doubt we'llbe staying here again. The location is superb and this accommodation perfect for our needs.

Harbour Guest House is ideally situated for a trip to Amble and the stunning Northumberland coast. Laura was very understanding when I arrived late due to a puncture! Clean, basic room. Paid extra for breakfast which was reasonably priced.

Laura’s place is great! It’s a friendly and helpful team and the location is perfect for those cycling the Coast and Castles.

Laura and her mum will take good care of you. They are friendly and committed to providing a first-class B&B experience. The breakfasts are cooked to order and delicious. The location, right next to the Amble pier, is unbeatable. Don’t expect luxury at this price but, believe me, the hospitality, clean rooms, and location are all you will need to enjoy your stay in this lovely little town.

Rachel's home is so lovely and welcoming, it is very stylish and homely. The Stable is surrounded by gorgeous countryside and is only a short drive from the town. Rachel provided a booklet of helpful information including places to visit and places to eat which was very helpful!

It was a home away from home. If we could ever have a country home, this will be it. It had all the homely amenities and had a children corner with books, toys, puzzles. It also had dvds and a Nintendo for a rainy day. The cottage is located by the river and a bridge. It was nice to take walks by the river and look for ducks. Highly recommended for a countryside getaway!

Do not hesitate - if you are looking to spend some time in Alnwick to enjoy the walking paths and nature, this is the place to be. Not only can you access trails beloved by the locals just a few steps away, you also can hear the brook and the birds throughout the day. The self-catering is minutes away from the center of town with excellent restaurants, pubs and shops. The “Stable” is immaculately clean, thoughtfully appointed, and the kitchen has everything you need for eating in. Rachel met us upon arrival and took the time to go over some details related to the heating system. There are two other units on the property but you quickly forget about their presence since you can’t see them or hear fellow guests. Spending time at the Stable is absolutely perfect - I have no doubt we will be back.

Beautifully presented and with many thoughtful touches, the Stables was really lovely. Alnwick is within walking distance, but the surrounding fields and are full of life.

This really is the perfect base for exploring a wonderful part of the world. The Stable has everything you need - from a well stocked kitchen, to plenty of space for lounging and a vert comfortable bed. Added to this is the great location - just minutes from Alnwick and Alnmouth - and a short drive or bus journey away from other brilliant parts of Northumberland. Really recommend a stay here - and I am sure we'll be coming back.

Jennifer's Cottage is a well-thought out property, which is ideal for a couple. It is really well-equipped, immaculately clean and, even though we stayed during the February storms, warm & cosy. Also Jen is a perfect Airbnb host, being helpful without being intrusive. Hopefully it won't be too long until we're back for another long weekend in beautiful Northumberland and staying at the cottage.

This place is fab. Just the right size for 2 (and a dog). Everything you need for a weekend away plus goodies for both you and your dog!

We booked this apartment for a very - last minute - 3 day trip, in January, with our dog & were delighted with it. It’s a 20min stroll along the riverside into the village, which has a few good pubs, cafes & shops to browse - as well as the castle. Jen provided all you could need for both humans & dogs; scones & cake for the humans, gravy bones & a ball for our 4 legged friend. The apartment was gorgeous, warm, cosy & comfortable. There’s a parking space right by the door & great walks from the doorstep (if you’re feeling energetic then walk along the coast/cycle path to super cute Alnmouth). Barter Books in Alnwick is a must both for the books & their great value food & is dog friendly. We ate in the Red Lion in Alnmouth (also dog friendly)as it was the only place open on a Monday in Jan, but both food & beer were superb. The Masons Arms in Warkworth looks like a place to avoid from the outside but is actually very nice inside plus they also serve a good pint & although we didn’t eat there the food looked tasty & again it’s dog friendly.

Cant fault this lovely little apartment. Spotlessly clean, quiet and a lovely walk into the village. Small but had everything you needed for a short visit. Home baking on arrival and biscuits for the dog.

Jen is a fantastic host and the house is just what we needed for a walking break in the area. The place is spotless and cosy and warm and had everything we needed. The welcome scones and cake were a classy touch and went down a treat! We would highly recommend this place if you need somewhere to stay in the area and will definitely be booking again!

Excellent cottage and location.

Lovely cottage. We stayed here to go and see the castle and its gardens, which are in perfect reach of the cottage. The cottage comes with all of the nessacery amenities required for a peaceful and relaxed weekend away. The kitchen was well equipped with all mod cons, and major supermarkets are within easy reach should you require anything. Peter was quick to respond with any questions we had, and was even so kind enough to bring round some wine to save us heading out. We loved our stay in the little cottage.

Loan End Cottage is a terrific place to stay, the cottage has everything you need and more and Peter is a great host. From the beds, to the log fire and the amenities it is the perfect base to explore Northumberland or to rest up for a few days. The location is 5 minutes from Alnwick centre which is a vibrant village with plenty to do. A special mention has to go to Peter who offered us a lift after we could have ended up stranded in the snow, such a thoughtful host. Thanks.

We had a great stay, spot on location for a short walk to the harbour with plenty of shops and great places to eat and drink. Parking was easy and the local Bus services easy to use too. It was very cold out during our stay but the house kept very cosy and there was plenty of hot water for baths and showers. Rik was very helpful, friendly and quick with communication. Great part of the country and a great base to explore from.

Nice property in an idea setting

A great experience from start to finish, quick communication from Rik and easy check in instructions. The property is spacious and clean, ideally located 10 minutes walk onto Amble High Street (probably quicker without a giddy 3 year old on his bike) and then a stroll to the harbour. We know the area quite well anyway as we have family in Warkworth, but this gem of a place was perfect for what we needed. Kitchen looked new and the lounge was big enough to entertain a baby and toddler when the rain scuppered our plans. They even had an under stairs cupboard full of toys and books! Had to move a couple of candles out of kid’s reach for the stay, but would expect that anywhere we stay. So much to see in the area, we took in Preston Tower, Bamburgh, Seahouses, Barter Books in Alnwick and a lovely hot chocolate stop in Alnmouth. Would definitely recommend Rik’s place and book again!

A very nice and clean house with all modern facilities. Location is in a quiet street within walking distance of shops; there is parking outside the house. Amble is nicely situated for visiting the Northumberland coast and inland areas. Folder left by Rik has lots of information.

What a fabulous vacation we had at this lovely house. The house had everything you needed and was very clean and comfortable, we quickly felt at home. It is a great base to explore the area and Amble itself is a quaint fishing village. The owner was lovely and gave us recommendations for things to do. Five stars to Rik the owner *****

Probably the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! Absolutely sparkling clean, lovely fluffy towels and linen, comfortable beds and thoughtful finishing touches...the list goes on. The kitchen was particularly well kitted-out, making it really easy to settle in quickly and enjoy evenings cooking at home. We weren’t there in high season but parking wasn’t a problem at all - free 24hr car park 2 mins’ walk away. Love that a dog is allowed - we will be back with our pooch!

We had a lovely 4 nights thank you Rachel. House was super clean, lovely fluffy towels and everything was nice and fresh. Kids loved the xbox! 2 bathrooms was very handy. House had everything we could possibly need. Location was great for Anlwick, we want to come back in the warmer weather and do the river walk that was suggested and see the castle. Plenty of supermarkets close by. We were there in VERY windy weather but we were super cosy and will happily visit again. Highly recommended!!

Booked the Granary for a reunion of old flatmates from university. The cottage is beautifully decorated and really peaceful, it was the perfect place for a relaxed weekend. Amble is a lovely little town which we are very glad to have discovered. Jen's house is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is perfect for visiting the beaches and castles as well as the many excellent cafes and restaurants. We were very happy to be able to park right outside the house and to be able to stroll out to eat in the evening. We were delighted with the scones and cakes that Jen left to welcome us to the house - very delicious and much appreciated after a long drive. We will definitely come back. Thanks again Jen.

We had a lovely week in Jen’s house on the harbour. Amble is an ideal base for the fantastic Northumbrian coast and it was great to come back to such a cosy house. The home-baked scones with jam and cream were a nice surprise and a welcoming treat. We thoroughly recommend Jen’s special place on the harbour and hope to be back soon.

This is a lovely house right on the harbour, just moments walk from the local shops and restaurants - as well as the beach. Visiting an English beach town you do worry about the weather so it's great to have somewhere like this to retreat to. The personal touches were very thoughtful and I think this was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I'd highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area, and advise them to order fish and chips from the cafe at the top of the street.

Warkworth is a lovely area with beautiful castle remains nearby, the beach is really near and local shops in Amble and Warkworth-lovely for dog walking or just a quiet break. The bungalow is quiet, and comfortable with all needs amenities-phone signal variable.

Warm and comfortable for a winter stay. All kitchen equipment was good. A short walk into Warkworth . Better to locate this Airbnb in daylight as street names etc were unclear in the evening.

The place was exactly as described and perfect size for the two of us to spend the week. We found it very clean and well equipped. It is tucked away up a drive but easy to find with the instructions. In a good location to explore the area and you can walk into the village easily. Carol was a great host and kept us informed. Overall we had a lovely time and would stay again if in the area.

An excellent cottage , exactly as described on the website, a quiet location about 5 to 10 minute walk to the village centre, it was spotless and very comfortable and a joy to return to after a days walking, Lots of local walks are available, as well as along the Northumbrian coast We would have no hesitation in staying there again
