A cosy cabin with ensuite set in glorious countryside very close to historic Shrewsbury town surrounded by the River Severn. Ideal for couples wanting to escape busy lifestyles and relax. Many local country pubs and within a 3 minute drive there is a brilliant Indian restaurant and a the Smoke Stop that does delivers. We have a very friendly dog called Shirley so please feel free to ask to take her for a walk! She will be your friend for life! Please note there is no wifi. Check in after 4.00

The Studio is in the centre of one of Wales' most scenic villages at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains. It is a self-contained studio with a double bed or 2 singles, dining/sitting areas, kitchen and shower room. The Hand Hotel serves great food, best to book. Well placed for a long weekend of walking, cycling or visiting the Pontcysyllte World Heritage site, Llangollen with its heritage railway, Lake Vernwy, waterfalls and many more wonderful places. An excellent base for exploring North Wales.

Jemima’s cottage, cosy and comfortable!

Cosy cottage adjacent to the owners listed property, situated in a small hamlet.Jemima’s has views of the surrounding countryside and a small private garden with garden furniture ,ample parking and WiFi.There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms the main bedroom also has shower and wc . There is a fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable living room. Shrewsbury is a 20 mins drive away . There isn’t a washing machine in the cottage but guests are welcome to use ours if they need to.

We had a lovely short stay at Pippa’s place. It was absolutely spotless and very well equipped. Great distance from pubs and shops and only a short drive into Shrewsbury centre. We will definitely be returning.

An absolutely beautiful place to stay, it was idillic to sit out for breakfast by the little lake and enjoy the wildlife. A true gem, couldn’t recommend it enough. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Exceeded expectations with all the provisions,such as bread, milk, fresh eggs and biscuits. Only 30 min walk to Ellesmere with friendly Local pubs and great food. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Summerhill Lodge is absolutely amazing - unbeatable, stunning views, the most peaceful place possible! crispy white bedlinen, comfortable bed, everywhere clean ... I felt instantly at home, and didn't want to leave! Topped off with a wonderful host who leaves thoughtful little 'extras', milk, cereals, cookies, etc., even binoculars and bird books, to take advantage of the fabulous wildlife. I can honestly say my stay was wonderful, and I've already booked for Christmas and the New Year. I can't wait to spend more time in this beautiful, unique place. Olivet is a lovely bungalow in a great location and our host Helen was super friendly and helpful. The accommodation is well maintained with everything that we needed for our short stay. The decor is quite retro, a bit niche perhaps, but all rooms are very spacious. The local pub, the Red Lion, (5 mins walk) provides some hearty meals and great regional ales. We had a great time and would highly recommend Helen and Olivet if you are looking for a trouble-free and enjoyable stay.

Had a 2 night stay at the Broomy bank pod and thoroughly enjoyed it. The pod is placed perfectly for a peaceful and relaxing get away with the hot tub overlooking the amazing view. The pod itself was everything we needed and was pleasant to stay in. Gabrielle the host was brilliant with quick responses making communication and checking in easy as well as providing information for the local area. Would highly recommend a stay here !
