Vacation rentals with a patio in Rumney

Jolanta and I only had contact through the news. She is a likeable landlady and available at any time. Access to the apartment is via a key box - very easy to set 4 digits with number wheels. The apartment is very bright and friendly. It is very quiet at night (residential area). If you like to sleep in the dark, you have to take a sleeping mask or something similar for one of the bedrooms, as the street lamp is very bright. It didn't bother me. The other bedroom is inside. If you are a good walker, you can reach the city in 20 minutes and the Penarth Pier in a good 30 minutes. Penarth Pier is beautifully located on the Bristol Canal. You can also eat well there. Cardiff can also be reached by car in a quarter of an hour. Cardiff Bay (harbor) offers many pubs and restaurants. You can also go for a walk there. If I ever go back to the area, I will definitely stay in Jolanta's apartment again.

Great place to stay for a weekend away in Cardiff. Short walk to Mermaid Quay. Really peaceful location. Spacious and very clean, comfy beds. Bonus of a secure parking space. Host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Would 100% recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Alison's - thank you for having us! The spacious apartment has obviously been recently furnished, and it was extremely clean. There was everything we needed, with a very comfortable bed with high quality bed linen. Thank you for the generous welcome basket, which was ideal for our breakfasts, and we enjoyed the biscuits too! All in all we thought it was excellent, and a great location for visiting St Fagans and our Cardiff cousins. Thank you very much to Alison and Luigi, and we hope to stay with you again.

We spent 3 nights at Hayley’s place and it was absolute perfect! Exactly as seen in the pictures, spotlessly clean and had everything you needed. The bed was very comfy! Coffee machine was a great touch! Will definitely be staying again :)

Was such a lovely stay, probably the best Airbnb I’ve stayed in in Cardiff so far. Cathays station is a 15 second walk away which we got into town, so very handy. Everything was clean and lovely and great facilities :) Would definitely stay again ❤️

Aaron had made sure we had everything we needed including phone chargers which came in handy. The flat was very spacious, homely and well located. As a host Aaron was quick to respond to any questions we had. Overall a great stay.

We spent just one night at Kay’s lovely apartment. She responded quickly to any questions , very clean, comfy bed and lovely decking over a very pretty stream.

We had a great stay at this apartment! The host was extremely accommodating and responsive, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. The apartment itself was spotless clean, very functional, and surprisingly bright for a basement unit. We especially appreciated the spacious layout, the small backyard, and how well-lit it was throughout. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved the touch-sensitive table lamps—such a nice detail! The Wi-Fi worked perfectly during our entire stay, and we found the welcome pack really helpful, especially the manual for the heater, which came in handy during the night. The apartment is located in a peaceful neighborhood with beautiful houses and tree-lined streets. It’s about a 30-minute walk from the central rail station, which we didn’t mind at all. All in all, a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

Just what we needed! Kitchen was well stocked with what you would need for simple meals! Coffee and tea provided!

Wouldn’t think twice about using it again when visiting Cardiff

Couldn't of asked for a better place to stay the might before my wedding. Both lodges were beautiful and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. Location is beautiful and Ginetta is a WONDERFUL host. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a perfect stay. Don't think twice about staying here, you won't be dissapointed xxxx

We had a great stay. Location was ideal for us. Easy to walk to shops, pubs and restaurants. Local park 5 minutes walk. Good to have parking on the drive for 2 cars as Cardiff streets can be difficult to park on. Quiet location, relaxing, peaceful. Tom was a great host, thank you.

Nicely done out, good comfy beds. Walking distance of the city centre. Parking worked as promised. Suited us perfectly.

Had a wonderful stay. Very spacious. Private. Felt right at home. Lovely massive bed in the main bedroom pillows and duvet also comfortable. Didn't use the 2 single beds but also a lovely room. The cottage just felt like it had a lovely atmosphere. You can leave the door open and windows without feeling like you have to have the door shut. Did Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole and Weston-super-Mare. Went to the Langford Inn and the Railway Inn plus in Cheddar had a lovely Indian at Rasoi and Milkshakes at Lion Rock Tea room. Jodie and Angus were helpful and friendly :-) Next time will definitely use the hot tub!

We stayed at Lyndon’s beautiful cottage for the weekend, which had fantastic access to the ICC Wales, where myself and my friend were competing (ATHX). The perfect spot to relax - we loved the bbq and the added little touches! Thank you!

Absolutely loved this air BnB Gill was extremely helpful and the cottage was brilliant Loads of room Very comfortable with stunning views Enjoyed my visits from Bella the cat too and the horses over the gate I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again highly recommended

The communication from booking to leaving was fantastic. The flat is spotlessly clean. A lot of thought has been put into it too make guest extremely comfortable. It was great sitting on the large veranda area in the evening as the sun went down. By far this is the best Airbnb I have stayed in. We will be booking again and again. Beautiful place Very clean and everything you need for a relaxing break. Sarah was an excellent host and very welcoming and helpful.

It was compact as described, very new and clean. We got great sleep and appreciated being able to park our rental car in the drive.

A great place to stay so quiet it is a good walk into town but a bit of a hill on the way back,but all in all host very attentive definitely would stay again

We had the most wonderful stay with Mags. The house is stunning, surrounded by the most beautiful landscaped gardens. It was lovely to wake up to the birdsong in the morning. The property itself is cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We slept great and the shower is excellent! Lastly, Mags was the cherry on top. She was kind, attentive and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome, albeit we only stayed for one night. One of the best Air BnBs we’ve stayed in - we hope we can find an excuse to come back again. Brava!

I had a lovely stay here. Very easy to get to from the M5, so a great base from which to visit the surrounding area.

Great place and wonderful host. Excellent communication throughout stay. Very close to principality stadium and Cardiff city centre and also provides free parking in the city centre which is a big plus
